Ruff Wood Pizza Company Limited in Dacorum

We hired these guys to do our wedding breakfast. We had a New York theme and wanted to have a relaxed day with nothing too fancy so we decided on pizza. Heard great reviews so went ahead. The weather was beyond awful and the team struggled to cope. I was always worried it would rain and reassured they would set up the tent as close to the marquee as possible so the guests wouldn’t get wet. They couldn’t set up the tent because of the wind, something that hadn’t been considered. Overall they tried hard with the pizzas, cooking them then running them into the marquee but it was a shambles and people waited ages for pizza. In the meantime they ran out of side salads when we were only halfway through serving. I had ordered salads for 80 and was reassured it was enough food. We had 70 guests and still ran out only feed half of them. Embarrassing to say the least. We had to ask our evening caters to start serving early! When I wrote to them after the wedding to say thank you but i was disappointed I was simply told the guests eat too much not leaving enough for others.

Having catered for our son’s 18th 3 years ago we had to have a repeat for our daughter’s 18th. As before fantastic pizza cooked to perfection and loved by daughter’s friends and our dog! Thanks so much Steve - hope to see you both again! Christine, Nick and family.

We used Ruffwood pizza for our wedding evening food and it went down a treat. The guys were there early to set up and were friendly and helpful - both on the day and when we were organising the wedding beforehand. The pizzas themselves are delicious and top quality, definitely not any old standard pizzas. If you’re a pizza fan you will not be disappointed. The pizzas were going fast but the guys were churning them out very impressively and no one was waiting for their food for long. All in all we couldn’t have been happier with choosing Ruffwood and our guests agreed. Our only negative point is that we didn’t get to eat more of the pizza ourselves as we were too busy inside! A lesson to future bride and grooms there - set aside more time for eating pizza!

Mark and Sam were absolutely amazing at our wedding yesterday! The set us was beautiful and exactly what I had imagined it to be. Every guest complimented the food and we really couldn’t get enough of it. Steve has been brilliant from start to finish with communication and has made the whole process feel effortless. Brilliantly cooked pizzas with heaps of flavour. We cannot wait to book them again for another event! Amazing!

Steve provided some of the food for an wedding I was working on. It went down really well, fab service and yummy food.

I was blown away by this showstopper at a friend's wedding last Saturday. The pizza oven at the back of their serving marquee was really impressive, the pizzas were served continuously and what a variety of toppings, each one delicious. The staff were really pleasant and accommodating. I had the honour of being the wedding coordinator and in the weeks leading up to the big day Steven answered all my questions and provided photographs so we could have a clear idea of what we were getting. What we got was even better. Will recommend Steven to attend at future events.

We had Ruff Wood Pizza for our wedding. Everyone really enjoyed the pizza it was the best we ever had and it really made the day! The guys were great we put the day together ourselves so we were quite busy talking to people and organising stuff too and they were just able to get on with it and get setup without any help or hand holding. We have fond memories of everyone stood around anxiously waiting for the okay to start getting pizza as the smell drifted inside the venue it was great. We hope to use them again the future.

Alquilamos acabado madera Pizza para nuestra boda y no podíamos haber pedido por un mejor servicio. Steve era servicial en todo el proceso y era muy rápido en respuesta a preguntas y consultas. Acabado de madera para satisfacer alquilar para mis hijas fiesta de cumpleaños para 70 personas. No podría recomendar más. Steven y su ayudante eran fantásticos y muy profesional. La distribución parecía increíble y todos los huéspedes estaban tan impresionados, ya que entramos en el hotel. En cuanto a las pizzas, que fue increíble, todo preparado tan bien y salió en buen momento y nadie estaba con hambre!

Came across the company on Google, and from first contact, everything went perfectly. Booking was very easy and communicating with Steve made for very smooth sailing. On the day itself, our 200 guests, including a number of fussy foody Italians, absolutely loved the whole thing. Great toppings, great service, great taste, and fantastic staff. Definitely recommend to everyone, and will look for an excuse to re book again in the near future. Thank you for everything!

We had Steve and is team cater for our the evening food at our wedding. The pizza was amazing, Steve was accommodating on pizza options and really flexible setting up close to the venue to keep everyone dry. All our guests commented on how great the pizza was, we even managed to keep a few slices back for us to enjoy the next day.

Ruffwood pizzas catered for over 100 guests at my wedding a few weeks ago, and they were brilliant! The pizza was delicious, they catered for the weird dietary requirements of my guests (no tomato!) and the service was fab and really friendly. Almost every single one of my guests came up to me and said how much they enjoyed the pizza (several even immortalised it in the guest book - with pictures!) - a real hit, and recommended for any event!

We had Ruff Wood Pizza put on a brilliant selection of Pizzas for the evening guests at our wedding. The food was outstanding and they catered for a number of guests with different dietary requirements with no fuss. They where extremely professional throughout the whole experience and I would recommend them for any occasion. My 10 year old son is the fussiest eater on the planet but after trying a Ruff Wood pizza he said it was "the best pizza he has ever eaten". The owners, Steve and Susie create a warm, friendly environment and the use the best ingredients to create the most amazing pizzas.
