The best restaurants in Adeyfield East Dacorum East of England

I was served by the Cafe's owner Giorgio, and whilst the churros looked lovely, especially with a hot chocolate, I was on a diet and so opted instead for the Coxinha (Brazillian style dumplings filled with chicken and cheese) as a main meal. The Coxinha were cooked fresh and served steaming hot, quite a nice treat, with a crispy outer and a soft centre. The cafe offers a wide range of food including sandwiches, as well as hot and cold beverages, and it is very much what you'd expect in the management suite of a smart industrial estate. As they also cater for parties and events, the standard of food preparation is high and well worth trying. Overall a lovely lunch and one I hope to have again sometime.

Wrap and roll sushi is amongst the best sushi we have had It’s incredibly fresh and matches the quality of the best sushi restaurants in London but in the comfort of your own home We order a couple of times a morning and it’s always delicious and well worth the 30 mile round trip to collect as nothing local compares

This really is the best. From ordering via the app which is very straightforward to the tracker showing where your order is in it’s life cycle. Being baked being checked and being delivered. The food is extremely tasty and always arrives hot. The nachos are absolutely delicious. There are always offers to be had and every delivery driver is friendly, courteous and helpful. The delivery is always in time and they don’t take too long from order to delivery. Highly recommended.

I was there midweek, so benefitted from the 'Curry Night' deal. The food was very tasty and service, although slow, it was quite busy there, I was in no hurry, so it felt un-rushed and, in fact, added to my enjoyment. With the deal, the value for money was exceptional. The friendly staff made the experience all the more enjoyable.

First time here, would definitely go again. Food was very nice and portion size was good. Service was great, friendly staff. I ordered something thinking it was a different dish and they very kindly let me order something else. Our bill for 2 on banquet menu was £55 which included 3 alcoholic drinks.

Just had a fabulous bacon butty and cuppa here. Up in Maylands, run by a lovely couple. Great service and lovely to use a local independent business.

I ordered a double-up breakfast which should come with 2 sausages 2 bacon 2 hash-browns 2 eggs 2 black pudding mushroom and beans. Unfortunately when open the tray I noticed that there was only 1 bacon 1 sausage and 1 hash brown. The black pudding was undercooked and I selected for my eggs to be soft but they where as hard as bricks, the beans where stone cold like had just been poured straight out the tin into the box and so where the mushrooms and they were also very rubbery.

For the last year I have been working at Hemel Hempstead. This cafe was recommended by a contractor as a good place to eat. They were not wrong. Everytime my team and I are in Hemel we always go to Maylands Cafe. The place is spotless, excellent prices, excellent food and the staff are always helpful and polite. The hot drinks are superb and the cost is really good. The location offers decent parking in the immediate location and the food is both tasty and quick. They can get busy at certain times, however we normally get there just after 8am and get served, seated and fed rapidly. This is how one of my fav places to go when in the area.

Wow what a great cafe , a hidden gem , Amanda’s cafe is upstairs in Selco Builders Warehouse in Maylands ave ,Hemel Hempstead, me and few workmates have been having our breakfast here for a few months now and have never been disappointed, excellent food and amazing staff, traditional breakfasts but also a specials board , I had Eggs Benedict the other morning , it was gorgeous, all cooked to order also a good selection of teas coffee and soft drinks, highly recommend , well done Amanda and all your Staff

Just tried to order says closed …when it says 4pm to 12am rediculous

Had breakfast here as early for meeting, clean and tidy, it was at 8am I did see comments saying they don't serve till 11am so obviously they do now. Food was good and a good price.

Yet again missing items from Hemel Hempstead McDonald’s

Just lovely, steak and cheese on hearty italian all day long (with south west sauce) and thank me later 😏 Update: them new self service kiosks are a serious downgrade, much rather be involved with my sub, feels more hollow and souless these days.

Absolutely appalling service and for 10am in the morning the place is filthy! The barista got my order wrong completely, went back for the charged for whipped cream and got filthy looks. The. Got back to the table a reassured both drinks were the wrong ones entirely! The rude service over a bit of whipped cream and sheer hostility put me off going back to get the drinks changed. Absolutely awful service and branch of Starbucks, this needs an overhaul. And why can’t they clean? Grimy. I would avoid this at all costs.
