Maylands Cafe in Dacorum - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

For the last year I have been working at Hemel Hempstead. This cafe was recommended by a contractor as a good place to eat. They were not wrong. Everytime my team and I are in Hemel we always go to Maylands Cafe. The place is spotless, excellent prices, excellent food and the staff are always helpful and polite. The hot drinks are superb and the cost is really good. The location offers decent parking in the immediate location and the food is both tasty and quick. They can get busy at certain times, however we normally get there just after 8am and get served, seated and fed rapidly. This is how one of my fav places to go when in the area.

Regular but this time not good. Had an omelette and one of the eggs was blue/turquoise. They said it was lettuce and then the water. Took it back and they were very dismissive as above. Luckily didn’t eat the part of egg (only a small bit as per photos but still).

People are very warm and friendly. Food is of a high standard. Cafe is very clean. Quick service and wide range of food.

Fresh food, good variety and tastes good, friendly staff make you feel welcome ,will defo go back soon

Went for breakfast sat morning. Happy staff, good food, good portion sizes, good prices, it was so busy there were no seats left! Will return.

Went here for breakfast, food was very good and hot, service fast and friendly, prices very good, and a good range of food on the menu. Great for all.

This is a great little cafe. I believe it has recently changed hands but the food is as good as ever. Ideal for breakfasts and good, wholesome food like omelettes and pies and cheese sandwiches etc.

Fantastic place for breakfast ( they do more than breakfast) Service was great and very fast The Portions are very large don’t expect to eat it all Price is very reasonable Will visit again
