Starbucks in Dacorum

Absolutely appalling service and for 10am in the morning the place is filthy! The barista got my order wrong completely, went back for the charged for whipped cream and got filthy looks. The. Got back to the table a reassured both drinks were the wrong ones entirely! The rude service over a bit of whipped cream and sheer hostility put me off going back to get the drinks changed. Absolutely awful service and branch of Starbucks, this needs an overhaul. And why can’t they clean? Grimy. I would avoid this at all costs.

Slow service, cold and a mess. Dirty coffee mugs that stayed on tables the entire time I was there. Servers busy talking to each other. Not my favourite coffee shop by far.

Nice people there especially Mel! they're always trying to give the best service they can! it's a good place to have cup of coffee in hemel.

I visited this place on the afternoon of 23/11/24. There were three staff members on duty, all young ladies. However, only one of them, the one wearing glasses, seemed to be working hard preparing drinks, heating food, and even taking orders occasionally. Another staff member, who had facial piercings, didn’t seem to be doing much and was not cleaning the dirty tables, which were cluttered with cups and litter.

Barely any I’ve at all in the iced latte which means it was quite warm at the bottom :( it’s a shame when it’s £5+ a drink and the quality is so inconsistent

Awful service, the person taking my order taken my order didn't listen to or note the request correctly, then when this was pointed out the person who I believe was the manager seemed irritated at my request, despite me having this drink made at another Starbucks, and when she made the drink it was seemingly made without care and I was left with green water. I will not be going there again.

Asked for a chocolate chip frappe was made the wrong drink twice and then made some cheap refresher instead won’t be retuning.

The delivery and drinks were great. It would be great if they could put all the cakes and drinks in a separate bag because when ever they put it in the same bag as the hot coffee's then it always melts..

Pros: Nice friendly staff. Very helpful people. Coffee is very nice Food tasty (but the cost of a veggie breakfast is very high these days!) Cons: Parking - time limit and hard to park not great if you want a work meeting there (not their fault to be fair) Cleanliness - Everytime I go there it is dirty - the floor is never swept. There are crumbs on seats and tables need clearing and wiping. It is never done for the two hours I am sat there and I frequently go when it is not very busy so someone could do it. It is awful going to such a grubby looking place. I would have more work meetings there if it was cleaner Furnitured: the chairs are grubby and very tired looking.

I waited 15 minutes for an order, 2 coffees, they were ready for 10 minutes and no one packed them, the staff didn't even notice me 😰😰😰

If I could give 0 starts I would. Just went in at 5:30 and was told I can’t have any cold drinks only hot then proceeded to say I can have a iced mocha but gives me a awful coffee just because they wanted to close.I had to leave the drink there as I couldn’t even drink as he also said they had no straws and put a flat lid on it and made it spill. Lady who was also working was slightly more helpful but never going back here as he just couldn’t be bothered to make the drink

inedible, over cooked, bun couldn't bite thru, no egg or if it was there it was minute. thrown away

Americano was good Espresso was cold, Hot water not boiling Tuna melt was piping hot but bland of taste. No salad or crisps garnish Will not purchase again. Prefer tuna melt at Cafe in Dunhelm Nash Mills

Standard Starbucks experience except the door to the property doesn't close by itself if someone has left it open. During the winter, it makes it cold and a staff member doesn'tgo and close it. It's why I try to avoid the location.

Order was wrong and completely missing items

Poop in for a chitty chatt & coffee couldn't fault it really... apart from the parking !! ?? not Starbucks fault it's the design & what the council has left out when you get a parade of shops / coffee house , church etc that require adequate parking ... errrr typical council of Hemel.. no doubt there's a valid excuse ?? normal !!

Really delicious seasonal drinks! Made my husband wish he ordered what I had... toffee nut is what I got in the picture! Staff was excellent as well!

All was brilliant. The staff very friendly. The café was clean.

This is a fairly large branch of Starbucks located within a small parade of shops. The parking is a bit challenging with limited spaces. It’s the usual Starbucks fare (which is good). The service was nothing special but not a problem.

Staff more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving customers. Long wait for drinks. Absolutely no rush to serve anyone

It's hard to say and give a good opinion about this place, there isn't much going on there the staff seems to be not very happy or they don’t know how to give a good service more training needed, even grinding coffee is a hardship for them.

Awful. Changed the arrival time three times. I tried to cancel the order and phoned the restaurant 11 times as I had to leave for work. Put a note up for the driver to return the order. He read the note, put the order on the floor, left, came back and took a photo. . .to cover his own back to state delivery was successful. What he failed to do was notice my doorbell camera :) which shows footage of him 'covering his own back'. I have downloaded said footage as I want a full refund. Starbucks. . .if you have a phone. . .it's usually helpful if you actually answer it. I order from you at least once a week. Won't be going forward.

Order placed at 8:45 we did not receive it until 10. Original delivery window was 9:20-9:40 and again we did not receive it until 10am so it was 15-20 minutes late

Order was waiting for an assigned driver for over an hour so I was forced to cancel the order.

The croissant looked like it had been ironed flat and the breakfast sandwich was very disappointing as you were very tight with the filling. Definitely not worth the money charged for it. McDonalds deliver better quality for a fraction of the cost.

One of the lids on the drinks wasn't secured so all the food items ended up lasting of lemon ice tea. An interesting experience.

Venti Iced Machiatto cup was sideways when we opened the bag, spilled most of it, sandwiches were fine luckily, but the whole order was made for the coffee. Really disappointed.

The wrong coffee was delivered, i received an ice latte and ordered a hot latte

food was Luke warm by the time I got it because the driver ended up down the marina where I don't live. the restrained didn't provide me with straw to drink my Frappuccino.

Food was cold and looked nothing like the image and one of the drinks had leaked in the bag.

Unfortunately the restaurant didn’t send us any stirrers or napkins which is a let down. Previously we have got this. Our delivery driver was on time and very polite, credit to just eat.

The delivery was fast, but that's about the only positive i can say to that. Because my drink was spilled completely, there was nothing left in the cup. it soaked the sandwich i ordered. The delivery driver left the bag that was already dripping from the spilled drink, at my door, and by the time i opened the door he was nowhere to be seen. APALLING SERVICE! This was the last time i ordered from them.

Completely wrong drink and wrong size, should have been a venti rasberry frappe, got a tall white mocha.

All the drinks were spot on , delivered in the allotted time but was waiting 40 minutes which seemed long.

Came here to use as a "work space", absolutely dead yet the restaurant was completely filthy. 3 young guys standing around talking, whilst customers came in and cleared their own tables to use!!! Toilets- don't even get me started

Not only do they forget whipped cream, but they decided a Birthday Cake Cookie was a decent alternative for a Cherry Crown Pastry I asked for without asking me and no communication. Sometimes they get things right, but this is bad.

Asked for a straw, no straw as usual why put down a note for the driver if they won’t even look at them.. I spend so much money on this place lately getting really fed up now of every order 9/10 times they do something wrong.. you’re a big company you shouldn’t be getting things wrong every time at this point.

Coffee was cold and all items were squashed in to one paper bag. Squashing the croissants flat.

Very nice Starbucks to spend time but I cannot say the same thing for their barista. He stares at people like he is ready to figh. Very moody and angry. There was nobody at the register so I thought I can give my order to him but he didn't even bother replying me. He just stared at me angrily as if I humiliated him somehow. I spent some time in there and when I gave my second order I realized that he is also like that to the other customers too. Some kind of an attitude problem he has.

Arrived on time, but with four large coffees in one bag. The coffee had also leaked and almost dropped the lot!

Service, food and coffee was great. But it's so cold in the cafe because the doors are always open! What's more, the doors are small and very difficult for a wheelchair user to operate!

We were meeting someone and I am not a coffee drinker do had tea which was like dishwater. Staff ok tho and clean inside.

Coffee was nice, what we would expect if we ordered in store which is good. The driver was excellent, arrived ahead of our order time and was very polite. Wouldn’t hesitate to order again.
