Had breakfast here as early for meeting, clean and tidy, it was at 8am I did see comments saying they don't serve till 11am so obviously they do now. Food was good and a good price.

This is regular cafe visited for nice fresh food. The menu is always varied and the staff are very accommodating, hard working and efficient. The menu has a weekly rota which is varied as well ensuring you don’t get fed up with the same choices. Surroundings are pleasant and it is a good meeting point for informal work meetings.

Have seen this place for some while and found the opportunity to call in at 11am. Saw a sign for full breakfast, but really just fancied a bacon roll and a coffee. While waiting for someone to show up at the counter, I looked around and the place was spacious, clean, tidy & bright - but empty !! I managed to get some attention and asked for my choice - was told quite bluntly that food doesn't start until after 11.30 !!! - Why have a breakfast list on display?? Decided that this was not the place for me, and wandered down to the Dacorum Café where nothing is a problem at any time. Suggest some lessons are learnt by this business, because so much trade must be lost with this approach. Good luck to them !!!

I have been to the imex building, the restaurant is very handy, sometimes the food is ok, often it can be over cooked, service can be slow, and it's quite expensive.. Potentially could be lovely! Also very cold in there due to the doors always being open so makes it cold if you're trying to have lunch in the restaurant.

Not a bad pub was ok, staff was good workers and helpful. Drinks expensive but that's to inflation. Toilets 🚻, a normal toilet pub. Not a bad place been in worse. Thankyou tho for all the staff help.

Had breakfast at Black Goo and despite arriving when they had just opened, they were only just able to give us a table as everyone else had booked. So prebook before you climb the 4 flights of stairs to reach this cafe. The bubble and squeak was interesting as it included carrots, cauliflower as well as cabbage. But it was an excellent breakfast and the servings are big. Saturday is definitely not a day to go there for a quiet cuppa as it is very popular with families.

A fabulous Sunday lunch for mother in law's birthday. We arrived at 11.45 and we had a 3 course meal. We were made to feel very welcome and rearranging the furniture to make room for a wheelchair was no issue. We sat and enjoyed our meal and wasn't felt rushed at all. Myself and my husband had roast beef, which was just the right shade of pink. My father in law had roast chicken, mother in law had Lamb and my daughter had the wagu burger. Each plate was a generous serving and struggled to finish it all. We were given time to let our food go down, which meant it was inevitable to have a dessert. I had the Lemon meringue tower, which was just wonderful. The owners took time out to come and say 'hello' and we're warm and welcoming. I am looking forward to going again. 😁
