The best restaurants in Ampthill Central Bedfordshire East of England

You know it's good, when the place is so busy. I usually treat myself to an "Our House" with Loaded Fries, just because....and why not. The order process is super easy online, with a good selection of collection times to suit my needs. I have on occasion ordered just walking by and the staff are great and fit you in between the online riders they are preparing. Great, food, staff, location and a credit to our Market Town....

Absolutely brilliant food and service, I would highly recommend too anyone looking for food in the area.

Absolutely amazing meal at Eileen’s. Opted for the 7 course taster menu, every dish tasted incredible, full of flavour and texture. It’s extremely challenging to pick a favourite dish as they were all beautifully cooked and well thought out. The truffle and cheese lasagna was out of this world. The service matched the food. Staff were extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t fault the food, wine or staff.

First visit here and will definitely be back. Food was excellent, staff were really friendly, disappointed there was no Ska playing 🤣 well worth the visit.

Fantastic meal and service on Saturday night from Simba and the lady owner . Great place, spotlessly clean , good atmosphere and always a lovely time. The Turkish wine is excellent too The go to place in Ampthill

One of the very best vegan Italian menu ! Food was yummy, creative and healthy. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy . Would definitely recommend .

The food is unbelievable, the steaks are unreal and the cheesecake is the best we have ever had. We love every time we come here and will be forever coming here.

This is a beautiful vintage tea shop. Food is lovely and tasty as for their home made cakes WOW. You definitely need to visit its set in a pretty small village with lots of independent shops.

I went to the duchess tea rooms with my sister, niece and my daughter. Right from the helpful lady on the gate we were greeted by smiling helpful staff. The manager of the shop directed us to the tearooms. Our waitress Megan was helpful and...

Popped in for a coffee and had a slice of their banana & chocolate cake/bread (delicious). Friendly staff, nice vibe and plenty of tables.

First visit since change of ownership and very pleased to see a few small changes for the better. Lovely outdoor terrace for drinks and food or great dining room inside. Great service from Oliver and Dawn . Thanks and we will return

New landlord and landlady doing a great job. Really lovely people. I do prefer real ale but the beers they have on are very good.
