Just been ripped off for collection price of take away. Current menu shows 10% off for collection. They do not honour this discount. Staff attitude when queried this is abysmal.

Great experience every time I come to my local Costa. Paula and Chloe always go out of there way for my children and make them feel welcomed. Great customer service

Myself and husband booked for dinner on 31st January as a date night following staying in after new years. We live locally to the restaurant and have dined here previously when the restaurant was under the name of Chophouse. We liked the restaurant before but can honestly say their was a noticeable improvement. The food was outstanding! Best in the area! And service, warm, welcoming and attentive. Thank you for a lovely enjoyable evening and Harry for looking after us :-)

Fabulous freshly cooked fresh fish and great chips. The service was friendly and efficient

Another local pub close to me. Always serves a decent pint of lager and seem very friendly. Very handy for parking at the station too and paying inside, cheaper than the station car park!

Food missing from order , cold fries and greasy meat, large salad arrive in 2 small gravy tubs small amount of salad with sweetcorn that had turned black on some , would not recommend at all

Food was okay, bit bland but still a nice sandwich however I had a diet coke which tasted a little bit funny put it down to potentially ice, look on the bottle after I've already drunk it and it was 5 months out of date! Currently downing pints of water to flush it out of me. Won't trust returning here again

The swan wonderful place where i married my wife on the 15th of june 2024. One week before the extreamly sad unfair end to a one of braintrees local pubs another sadly lost to rediculous fancy carabian dining we. One of the best friendly enviorments wonderful service respect due to amazing management by landlord ken amazing man with exellent management. Looking forward to see where he goes so will all of his customers will follow. Wonderful memorys. Sad loss butiful memorys. Love adam and wonderful wife serena. We will miss you swan. Loved alway.

I used this place years ago and the lamb was so gristly and fatty it was horrific! The lamb is exactly as terrible as it was all those years ago! Still barely edible and just gristle. So disappointed what a waste of time and money.

Sunday Roast was absolutely diabolical. 90% of food on the plate was cold, don’t think the potatoes ever saw the inside of the oven they looked anemic, parsnips hadn’t seen the oven either, cauliflower cheese looked like the ‘chef’ has just poured a dash of white sauce (no cheese flavour at all) over the top of some cold cauliflower. Very, VERY disappointed. Left most on the plate, I should of complained there and then (my biggest regret), was going to get a desert to cheer myself up but didn’t want to hand over any more of my hard earned money! I couldn’t wait to leave. I got a desert over the road in the Co-op! Service was much to be desired too, very miserable women, blunt, no smiles, not welcoming. (Have been to this pub during the week to eat and couldn’t fault the food or staff-but this experience has made me think twice about eating here again and yes I am very angry at myself I didn’t complain whilst we was in there!)

Ordered kebabs online chased up over an hour later to be told they forgot to do it and couldn’t give a delivery time. In the end collected my order got no delivery charge refund,no apology and when got home found the portions were tiny and no rice - rang to complain was told they’d run out of rice and forgot to tell me also that the portions were tiny size. Was normal - we’ve previously had great food and service from here and recommended to friends however we will never return and will not recommend after this rubbish experience

The best in my town a little bit pricey and with all the extras you can add you can't add extra cheese for some reason other than that I will be having more from this company but given the price it will only be as a special treat now and again

Very busy Sunday service, Amy on front desk was totally in control, great greeting, happy smile and a credit to your brand. Full range of meats , lamb was spot on. Our server ? Honey/holly! Really efficient and happy. Great quick Sunday meal.ww

Saturday evening dinner here while having an overnight stop at the Premier Inn next door. Busy popular venue, I had been unable to get a table a few months ago so booked in advance for this visit. Staff friendly and helpful. Pie and mixed grill main courses with spicy crumble deserts. Both meals nice although peas on both and onion rings were cold. Gammon a bit fatty. Eggs as I liked and chips swapped FOC for a jacket potato. Spicy crumble was hot and delicious. Custard nice and creamy and could have had double portion ! We took advantage of the unlimited tea and coffee and were not rushed to vacate our table. Good value at £37 after BLC 25% discount. Will use again if stopping overnight

Nice welcome and lovely meal. Good service, our waiter was Mickey who was very polite, attentive and very helpful with helping us sort our payment voucher. Would recommend and will definitely return 👍
