Costa Coffee in Braintree

Great experience every time I come to my local Costa. Paula and Chloe always go out of there way for my children and make them feel welcomed. Great customer service

If this is a flat white; then cappuccinos must just be air and espresso. Incredibly disappointed

One of the nicer Costas I’ve been too, always convenient to grab a drink after doing the shopping. Only dealt with the young staff friendly and cheerful. Always busy in there so that’s a good sign. Keep up the great work.

I have visited quite a few times and have gotten to know some of the staff that work there and they are all so lovely! The only issue i have is with one of the older ladies and the occasional younger one that constantly non stop gossip about other customers and even their own staff! You’d think the older one might have grown out of such a stage.. Apart from the unpleasant gossiping, all the young staff are great baristas and it’s always nice to go in for a drink and some food.

Although the service and coffee were ok the staff and the work surface were filthy. One lady had an apron on so filthy you could hardly work out the colour. Overall disgusting not what I expect from costa

The younger staff are absolutely brilliant and the kindest, this lady served us and she was horrible, no emotion and rude and joked about us to other customers, and served our drink with dirt in.

I came here at 5 30 pm today needing to get some work done at short notice. Still downloading some files, and barely having been sat there for five minutes, when a staff member came over and told me "just so you know, you need to have bought something to sit here." This is a perfectly good policy, and i had every intention of buying something, but the staff member was very rude. Definitely some more training needed. I was also told that the shop would be closing in "about 20 minutes" despite all information saying that the cafe closes at 7pm on Fridays. Very disappointing, not recommended.

Genuinely the worst costa you'll ever go too . Half the time the coffee machine is broken and when it isn't. Your get the wrong coffee.

Always good coffee, no decaf for few weeks but hey it's not the end of the world . Always pleasant staff in all cafe's.

This is the first time I have had coffee in this store....young girl and two young boys serving.....excellent working together skills very impressed .

Coffee as you would expect at any Costa but there rarely seems to be a full choice of food with empty space in the display cabinet. Staff seem slow to clear away dirty cups, plates etc. so have to contend with this when searching for a table.
