Absolutely fabulous food and a great selection of wine. We were made very welcome as was Monty the spaniel who behaved himself impeccably. I need the recipe for the Rosemary, garlic and Madiera jus. Masterful!

Our visit was for Afternoon Tea for Fathers Day and a family gathering. Lovely, bright, clean venue. Friendly, attentive staff and most of all great food. Excellent value. Will certainly visit again. Well done.

Lovely traditional pub, that does great food, at decent prices and has such friendly staff. Toilets are super clean which is always fab.

Absolutely amazing! Stopped by this gem of a place in Billericay and was seriously impressed. The fish and chips were spot on. perfectly crispy batter, flaky fresh fish, and golden, fluffy chips. But what really took me by surprise was the kebab, hands down one of the best I’ve ever had! Juicy, and full of flavour. Portion sizes are generous and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re craving a classic chippy tea or a delicious kebab, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend! Have been their customer for years now!!!

I was completely unimpressed and disappointed with my breakfast at cloud9. Service and food was poor. Remember this place being great but believe changed hands which caused it to go downhill. I would not recommend.

After finding Urban Fresh about 18 months ago, we made a point of going there for a special meal every 3 or 4 months. The restaurant was always unusually quiet which is nice when you just want to eat and chat. We recommended it to anyone who would listen. There were so many great things on the menu but there was a cubed bacon starter and the Korean Fried Chicken that we often ordered and were the main reason for the 40 minute drive just to get there. We hadn't visited over Christmas so it was the obvious choice for Valentine's day. Well, what a disappointment. Urban Fresh is now Urban Italia it's just a load of pasta and pizza. Not really the sort of thing we would go out to eat. We both had the burger which was alright but not worth £18. Sadly we won't be rushing back unless the menu changes. As ever, the staff are great, attentive and polite. You normally have to stand by the desk for 5 to 10 minutes before someone walks past and sees you but it has always been like that.

This is now called Georges but is still a chip shop. The staff are cheerful and happy to help and meet your requirements. I went on Saturday to buy fish, chicken, savaloys and chips for a number of us and asked for the sothern fried chicken amongst other things and had quite a long wait as it was freshly cooked for me. When I got home with the food it was all piping hot and we had a nice meal. The portions are quite large and you will know that you have had a feast when you are finished. Well done can't wait to visit again when we wre in Billericay.

I love a good greasy spoon cafe. When my last one closed I did some research to find a new one. I came across The Breakfast Room in Billericay. What a find… The tables are clean, as is the floor. The service comes with smiles. The food comes piping hot. The coffee is good and the facilities have always been clean when I’ve used them. Their prices are completely reasonable. I’ve found my new Greasy Spoon home.

Basically offering bread and cakes but small snacks and teas/coffee are also available. Tucked away off the High Street, but well worth while making your way here.

Great service and delicious pizza

Lovely food and extra early so I didn’t have tip ready for driver, will make it up next time, please try and get Salmon back on the menu.
