Cloud9 Billericay in Basildon

I was completely unimpressed and disappointed with my breakfast at cloud9. Service and food was poor. Remember this place being great but believe changed hands which caused it to go downhill. I would not recommend.

After dropping off my son early for he's football match i needed some Breakfast iam not familier with Billericay so i set my sat nav for the high st, i found a cafe called cloud 9, this cafe was extremely busy for a Sunday Morning and i thought it must be good, I Hope that i can find a Table,lets give it a try, i found a seat and a nice young waitress came over with a nice smile to take my order, scambled Eggs on 2 toast, toast well done pls and beans on the side, washed down with an italian Latte,they had a selection of breads to choose from, when my breakfast came i thought wow !!!! this looks amazing, the toast looked well done and it was without doubt the best breakfast ive ever had in a cafe, it was very delicious, a big shout to the cheff and all the staff for a nice experiance and an Excelent Breakfast worth Every Penny, so if you happen to be in billercay i would recemend this cafe to anyone 100% No Need to look elsewhere,

Have done a few visits to this venue for the past 4 years. Without exception the food is well prepared and presented whether Vegan/veggie or other. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend others visit this venue.

Just had a lovely family breakfast, great atmosphere, nice proper food (decent thick sausages, quality bacon and good portions), also great thickly slices fresh bread i.e. everything a good breakfast should be. Last time I popped in for a takeaway lunch (great latte and thick doorstep fresh sandwich which was lovely) so nice to eat in this time. Service good and quick, with friendly staff, will def be back again.

The food quality was extremely low given the prices and portion sizes. It was not bad, but you’d expect a lot better for that price and portion size. The service was also very poor, we had to het up 4 times to ask for things because they seemingly just didn’t care. Warms drinks and we had to ask for ice. No sauces or salt and pepper offered or on our table so we had to get up and ask again. Forgot our extra hash browns and my eggs came scrambled, when I had asked for poached. In total we had to get up 4 times because the service was so poor. I could’ve done better at home.

A fantastically extensive and varied menu, perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Neil and the whole team are so friendly and accommodating and they serve the best coffee in Billericay. On a high street with so many similar offerings, Cloud9 stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Yet another amazing lunch at Cloud 9 staff are always so friendly and helpful and food is always amazing. If visiting you should definitely try The Club Sandwich or the omelette infact everything on the menu is delicious and freshly prepared. Went to cloud 9 for breakfast on Father’s Day. Coffee is excellent but their Dippy Eggs came up hard boiled. Should have suspected something was wrong when the waitress drop an egg and it gave a slight bounce on the table. When I complained all I got was “sorry it’s the machines fault”. Pop I if you like over cooked eggs and substandard service.

Had a lovely full English breakfast here with my family, reasonably priced I thought and pleased with service and staff polite, would def visit again

Great service here, just right attention to service but not over attentive. Everything served was good quality. Extra touch of sending us over a taster of complimentary Cannoli's for us as we were celebrating a birthday, it was very much appreciated. The pricing of the sandwiches is a little confusing and perhaps a little pricey, but very nice. They accommodated my Mum's folding wheelchair which they stored for us behind the door. (I can't actually say if a wheelchair would fit up the aisle?)

Excellent coffee plus any meal you pick is great any time I’m in billericay I always pop in staff are polite and helpful

I am a local to the area and I visit Cloud 9 regularly for coffee because the taste tops anywhere else and the value is great. Staff are always friendly and the café has a lovely vibe

Went there 3 of us had the full monty , v nice but shame there wasn’t any mushrooms with it , my son had the veggie stacks so I had some of his and gave him some of my beans , nice coffees, staff young but they knew how to serve politely

Highly recommend this place. The food and coffee were delicious. Being a veggie I can sometimes find menus limited for choice but the veggie/vegan selection was spot on. The veggie brunch I had was amazing, will definitely be back.

Everything is preapred to perfection. We love the avocado toast with a poached egg and the eggs royal. I personally love their sausages and the pastry. We go every Sunday with my kids and my dog.

I visit Cloud 9 as often as I can for a late breakfast/brunch as I am lucky enough to live nearby. It is a gem of a place on the High Street.And I recommend the Peanut Butter milkshake

We waited for ages to be served. I ask for a turmeric latte with almond milk (was very specific) and avocado on toast with poached eggs. My latte came up with normal milk - very lucky I don't have an allergy. My avocado was arranged round the poached eggs so that it didn't cover the bread totally and the poached eggs were very hard - such a let down when everybody knows poached eggs need to be lovely and runny. For the price I paid, very let down.

We came here with our two kids for brunch. This family friendly establishment welcomed us in. The restaurant has a large seated area inside, outside seating and high chairs for younger guests. The menu is loaded with dishes from traditional English breakfasts, sandwiches, baguettes, eggs Benedict, avocado, smoked salmon, ice cream sundaes, chocolate bar milkshakes and a gorgeous selection of delicious coffee. Located on the high street not far from the rail station, this coffee bar is suitable for commuters, shoppers and passers by alike.Our food and drinks were faultless. I will be returning another time and next time I’ll bring some friends.Spread the word, Cloud 9 is superb.

We have been visiting cloud 9 since it opened, for lovely breakfast and the fantastic coffee. Having lived in Australia for a while, it's very hard to find a good flat white in Essex, which doesn't taste burnt or bitter (Costa and Starbucks), using good oat milk and takes pride in the latte art. Cloud 9 offers the best coffee that we have found.

We visited Cloud 9 for breakfast this morning as we are visiting friends who live in Billericay. The atmosphere was lovely with a real family run feel. We ordered the Full Monty Breakfasts which consisted of 2 sausage, beans, scrambled eggs, bacon and a slice of brown toast. We also ordered 2 lattes, which I have to say was one of best I've tasted! The service was friendly and our food came in s timely manner. The venue was busy which gives an indication of the popularity of the venue! It was worth waiting for and I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area. Will definitely be coming back when we visit our friends again. We'll done! 10/10

Great food and good service. The pancakes with Nutella and banana are so good!!! Breakfast and sandwiches are also lovely. Service can be a bit slow when busy but that is to be expected. Would higher recommend a visit to anyone passing by.

Attended today for lunch with friends. Great place to eat. I had a burger which was absolutely delicious and an Oreo Milkshake. Words can’t describe how nice that was!

Just to say how delicious our brunch was this morning! The food is ALWAYS amazing and so is the coffee, but we were looking for something huge but healthy, so we picked the grilled breakfast option. This little cafe really does serve the most amazing coffee. All the standard brunch/lunch offerings but with a few unusual twists too. My partner is GF and vegan and we always struggle finding food that is tasty and not just the standard ‘chips & salad’ the guys go out of their way to talk through the options and she managed to have a lovely lunch and dessert. Lots of milk alternatives for coffees. Their is a real community feel here that’s friendly and professional. We are so happy to have found cloud9.

Once again Cloud9 has proven to the best around. Love their coffee and all food is freshly cooked. My family have now become regulars due to the friendly atmosphere with other customers, the service and the outstanding food. If you’ve not tried this cafe, you are missing out

My family and I all ordered food which was to a very high standard and tasted amazing, try the Veg breakfast and add bacon you will not be let down. Coffee is the best around and I drink a lot of coffee travelling for work

Frequent visitor to cloud9 coffee shop, incredible experience everytime, couldn't fault the coffee or the food at all! Enjoyed an iced latte and caujan chicken salad this afternoon, included in the amazing service provided by staff. In my opinion great value for money!

Can’t recommend this place enough!!! We are a fussy family when it comes to food and all 5 of us have ended up coming here at least twice a month. The staff are fantastic- super friendly and very welcoming. The food is amazing- nothing is fried and the food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. We are even able to bring our family dog (shih tzu) along with us. Lots of options on the menu, including veggie options, rather than searching for the 1 choice on the menu like you do with lots of places. If you want a family friendly cafe with great food and a great atmosphere, this is the place to come!

This little cafe has become our go to restaurant for brunch freshly cooked and served by friendly staff. Their all day breakfast is the superb. The atmosphere is welcoming and cheerful and although busy, the wait is worth it. Their flat white is the best on the high st, by far.

I can’t fault the coffee and service here. The staff are friendly and helpful. But I do feel it’s unfair to charge an extra 50p for soya milk. Other coffee shops such as Caffe and Creme and Costa don’t charge for soya. Yes they charge for almond or coconut milk which is fine. When you can’t drink milk because you have an allergy I really don’t feel it is fair to charge an extra 50p for an alternative.

Came here to have brunch whilst doing work, can not recommend it enough the owner and staff are sooo friendly and really make the effort to get to know their customers. If you’re in the area definitely check it out x

Popped in for breakfast after a bit of a heavy night before, and it was the best pick me up. Good coffee and excellent choice of brunch food. I concur with a previous post that Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas would be an excellent addition.

Popped into Cloud9 for lunch with a couple of friends. Good service and atmosphere, great food and reasonably priced. The fully minty breakfast does need a hash brown though - haha!

Have recently found this little gem for breakfast. Portions are huge so have now downgraded from the full monty to the half monty! Everything is freshly cooked. Menu is vast and staff so friendly. Wish I could eat here every morning but would end up being the size of a house. Looking forward to my next Saturday morning breakfast treat.

We visit cloud9 at least once a week the food is so lovely and the best coffee I’ve ever tasted the staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome often introducing us to other diners who are also nice I would definitely recommend anyone to try it once and I’m sure they would go back again

Me and my partner come here a lot, the food is freshly prepared and tastes out of this world, definitely the beat cafe in the whole of Billericay. Friendly staff, great service and they cater for vegans as well as gluten free food. There are lots of healthy choices as well as the familiar brunch menus such as eggs Benedict, full English breakfast and the most anazing coffee I have ever tasted.

This is the best cafe in billericay, all the food is grilled so you don’t have that greasy smell in the air or grease dripping on your plate. Really nice brunch and breakfasts and I rate their coffee as the best I’ve had in Essex -authentic Italian macchiato, freshly cooked eggs benedict and a lively, friendly atmosphere......the only improvement would be to serve Bloody Marys......

Regular weekend treat - food is great, service can’t be faulted and the kids love the milkshakes. Italian pastries should also be given a try!

Service is great, Garry makes you feel at home. You pay abit more but the food is all high quality and well cooked.

I had a wonderful lunch. It was extremely busy, yet staff were very friendly and the food was very nice. I will definitely be going back and telling my friends & family to go there.

This has been my go to place for a while now and it gets better and better, the guys that run it are fantastic hosts and create an atmosphere that is friendly and makes you feel very welcome. They do get very busy but the wait is worth it as the food is fresh and 'clean'. The vibe created by the owners and staff is exceptional and regular customers are treated as friends, I don't eat breakfast anywhere else in billericay now

La semana pasada fue a comer a Cloud9 Espresso Bar, pasaba por allí y había gente, así que decidí entrar. Pedí un sandwich de bacon que estaba muy bueno, aunque no lo acompañaban de patatas ni ensalada ni nada. La verdad que no fue muy caro, y la calidad no estaba mal. Creo que volveré!

Went here with friends, seemed to be the cafe with the best vibe in town. Had cappuccinos which were pretty nice. My partner had eggs benedict which looked good. Cafe was buzzing and busy, and had a nice feel. Would revisit if i returned to Billericay.

Been here several times now and it's a little gem. The coffee is the best for miles around. The menu is large and varied. Only slight downside is it can get quite cramped when busy.

Visited Cloud9 on Saturday 7th April and tried out their new Turmeric Latte & Charcoal Latte which were amazing!! Highly recommend Cloud9, they are lovely people who offer great food and coffee. I am so glad I found them!

Having visited Cloud 9 on numerous occasions in Billericay this by far is the best, absolutely the best coffee in town and we have one of the big ones in the high Street. My Normal is a full monty breakfast no fat, grilled bacon and sausages and. friendly staff, great atmosphere and a warm welcome always. In my opinion you can not go anywhere else in Billericay without trying Cloud 9 first.

I love this place, Cloud9 serves the best coffee on the high street, delicious food all freshly prepared at reasonable prices. Best is the lovely atmosphere and warm welcome from Gary, Enno and staff. It gets a 10/10 from me.

Now that’s a flat white! better than any chain store and better than any of the other coffee shops in Essex. these guys really know their stuff, a great cafe serving lovely fresh food. A great crowd of local regulars make a nice atmosphere and I cannot recommend this enough, an independent, local business that are really making their mark in our town.

Have been here a few times now and this little cafe has the best breakfasts around, fresh, not greasy, really nicely presented. Has a lovely London vibe going on, staff are friendly and the coffee is really authentic. They offer lunches and desserts too, but to be honest the all day brunch menu has so many offerings I’ve not got around to trying yet. Every time I visit, I leave with a smile, you simply must experience this place if you’ve not been before.

This was our first visit for brunch and what a treat it was , great coffee to start and then I had a full monty which was excellent, hot food and really well cooked . And my wife had poached egg with tomato mushrooms and bubble, the photo is times two for the eggs you can have singular . The staff are attentive but not pushy . This is easily the best place to eat breakfast in billericay high st .

A popped in here the other day with a friend for coffee.

When are in here about 3-4 times a year, but each time we visit we are remembered and treated as old friends. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit. But don't Nick my normal table.

Popped in here for a coffee (which is the best in town by the way) and decided to eat once I saw what's on offer. I decided to go for the avocado smash which was absolutely delicious. They have a wide variety of options depending on what you want to eat and a big choice of hot and cold drinks.

Visited cloud 9 today for lunch with friends. The atmosphere and staff were very friendly. I had the supper food salad, coffee and Orio milkshake and it was all amazing! Definitely the best coffee shop I have ever been too and will definitely will be going back soon.

"Coffee as it should be" is an understatement, fantastic. I've had Breakfast, Lunch and light refreshments at Cloud 9 and all is prepared to an exceptionally high standard; and the service is always friendly and professional.

At last, a coffee place in Billericay that serves great coffee! Hot, strong, wonderfully flavoursome coffee made by an ACTUAL BARISTA (not just someone who has been trained one Saturday morning to work the machine!). The breakfasts are great, especially thr Omelette. Fantastic staff who always remember us and go out of their way to engage you in friendly conversation without being intrusive. Great place.
