The best restaurants in East of England

Llegó y pidió una mesa para cuatro. Dijo 15 minutos de espera. Dijo que esperaríamos y nos quedaríamos afuera al sol. Fui 15 minutos después, para encontrar la mesa que le habían dado a una pareja. Protesté y me dijeron que fuera a buscar otro lugar para comer. Francamente, no sé cómo siguen en el negocio.

Pre-ordered and paid online. Just then went and collected at time stated, really nice and easy. We had fish and chips, 2x cod and 2x haddock. Fish was a really decent size, even the medium ones, large were like whales! All cooked to perfection and we demolished what we could, although we had to leave some as it beat us. Nice fish and chip shop, definitely worth a visit if in the local area. Will be back next time we are holidaying around these parts.

Excellent breakfast with toast. Also had coffee with cake. Bright and very clean cafe. Will come back. Staff are friendly

Food was cold . Chips looks like week old

Now called Harvest Moon, this cafe has delicious plant-based food, imaginatively presented and reasonably priced. Lovely selection of cakes and biscuits. Friendly and helpful staff.

I get fast-food everyday, and this is the worst place in every sense. A shame because it use to be good, returning customer or not doesn't seem to matter to them. Horrible food, horrible service, trying to charge you well over their price list and offers. You'll order 2 medium, they'll give 2 small and then try sell you 2 more pizzas because they got it wrong. On top of that food wasn't nice at all, 3 days old chicken, double fried chips, tasteless pizza. Refused to give any refund, didn't apologise. Give them the chance to rectify everything but not willing to. False advertisement on their menu on top of that, they've been reported to trading standards. Already got full video evidence. I've already wasted too much time writting this. AVOID.

I had lunch here with my two grandsons, the youngest one lives in Witham and knew the restaurant well. Having said that; we have eaten there several times and the service and food has always been excellent. We were there Christmas Eve for breakfast 😍…. Anywsy, .back to last Friday. I chose to have a chicken caesar salad….. it was the best I’ve ever had and excellent value for money too. I would thoroughly recommend. Both my grandsons enjoyed their choice of food too and would have loved pancakes for dessert but having had them before, they both knew they wouldn’t be able to finish them!!! If you’ve not tried their pancakes . Then pay a visit.

The absolute creme de la creme of takeaways in St Albans. You cannot beat Plantopia for food quality and value for money (especially with a cheeky promo code). Honestly, top work guys. We will keep coming back again and again and again!! Up there with Mildred's as my favourite ever Vegan food - but without the hefty price tag,

I had a lovely sandwich made a young lady. She had an Eastern European accent but I unfortunately didn't catch her name. She check if I had any allergies and was very careful to make sure I was going to be okay and understood my choice and explained the ingredients to me. I found this so helpful and was genuinely impressed by her level of concern

I left sad and annoyed. I have favourably reviewed this cafe in the past but it has all changed now, and not for the better. The kitchen has gone, and with it the expresso machine. Frankly, this can hardly claim to be a cafe. I paid £5.70 for a miserable excuse for a cappuccino and a flapjack. The coffee was very weak, with thin froth on the top. The flapjack was decent, but the bill was a joke. I will remember the old days with affection, but I won't be going back.
