Breeze in Braintree

I had lunch here with my two grandsons, the youngest one lives in Witham and knew the restaurant well. Having said that; we have eaten there several times and the service and food has always been excellent. We were there Christmas Eve for breakfast 😍…. Anywsy, .back to last Friday. I chose to have a chicken caesar salad….. it was the best I’ve ever had and excellent value for money too. I would thoroughly recommend. Both my grandsons enjoyed their choice of food too and would have loved pancakes for dessert but having had them before, they both knew they wouldn’t be able to finish them!!! If you’ve not tried their pancakes . Then pay a visit.

This is the second time I've visited. First time was a few months ago with my daughter. It left such an impression I chose to bring my friend here. The staff are friendly, the food is restaurant quality, the premises is decorated to a high standard and kept extremely clean. The whole experience was so wonderful I have arranged a business lunch with several small business woman. Having just read one of the reviews that spoke of nut allergies I will be careful to make sure my guests are aware and therefore very grateful for that particular review and can certainly understand that reviewers reasons for a negative but my own experiences have been exemplary.

My friend has gone into anaphylactic shock after ordering avocado with her breakfast (as they’ve seasoned said advocado with a seasoning that contains nuts with NO mention of this on the menu), we wasn’t even questioned if we had allergies!! They sent the only English speaking member of staff to take the fall when we queried if there was nuts in the advocado and they got her to deny that there was nuts in it after bringing over the seasoning originally!!! They STILL charged me £26 for the rest of the food knowing they could nearly killed someone… even the staff in Boots went in to let them know the severity of their actions.. to be met with complete nonchalance.. A massive thank you to the staff in Boots who closed the shop to protect her dignity and called the ambulance team who are looking after her now at Broomfield A&E!!

It’s a lovely breakfast experience. Super clean establishment. Very polite welcoming staff. Quality ingredients. We loved everything we ordered. I have since recommended Breeze cafe to all of my friends and they’ve all agreed. Well worth a visit.

went this morning with my 2 girls , the food was superb , I had the omelette , reasonably priced , service was superb , it comes highly recommended and I can't wait to go back

What a breath of fresh air this establishment brings to Witham. Good food, great service, good prices and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend it. Try the Energiser juice. It is wonderful and fresh and just delicious.

We used to visit the Royale a lot, so after revamp, we went into The Breeze and it could not be more different. No more free coffee with breakfast!!, but the breakfasts looked amazing, very pretty and well presented, and for me a little off putting were the huge portions. I had the Eggs Benedict, and have to say I did not like the hollandaise sauce, and I hate Asparagus, but that is personal taste and other people might. It is certainly a step up, and had a lovely menu, if I go again I will try the pancakes. Just wish they did smaller portions.

This cafe/restaurant has recently been revamped and is very clean and comfortable. There's a wide selection of food on offer , lots of healthy options as well as cooked breakfasts, all attractively presented and good value for money. We had the peri chicken wrap and mediterranean panini. They came with a good portion of salad and chips. The staff are friendly and attentive. I also like the fact you can have a glass of wine or beer with the meal if you choose. Definitely a step up from the usual breakfast/lunch cafes.

Visited Breeze with my wife the first week it opened and it definitely is the best place for breakfast in Witham. The cafe has been totally refurbished and offers a wide range of dishes to suit everyone. I haven't yet got round to trying the lunch menu but hope to very soon. If you didn't already know this is the sister eating place to Astare situated further along Newland street. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

That is very nice breakfast and pancakes is delicious with fruits, Nutella. Thanks guys.. good stuff decorations look really bright and the cafe is warm and friendly. The toilet was really clean and the coffees were great!

Popped in for a breakfast with my wife. Very friendly waitress and very clean/smart decor since the referb. Nice to have a larger choice of breakfasts,went for the Turkish eggs and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I would like to share with you my experience of a wonderful breakfast. I can say that Breeze is the best in this regard. It is very nice with friendly staff and satisfying plates. I especially suggest you try full house breakfast and fresh juice.

My first visit to Breeze and we weren't disappointed. Very friendly staff, fresh decor and above all great food and service. We choose the Turkish options on the breakfast menu which were all well cooked and delicious, they also have a full English menu and pancakes. There's also a good lunch selection. They have a full range of drinks with Oat, Coconut, Almond or Soya milk as well as the standard offering plus fresh orange juice. We will definitely be returning as we enjoy proper Turkish Breakfast which is difficult to get outside of London. Prices are very reasonable.

Fabulous breakfast, using good ingredients. Vegan and traditional meals available. Friendly team running the cafe 10/10
