Had a good English breakfast here. There is the added bonus of a small play corner for toddlers. Everybody happy 👍

Wonderful place that accepts dogs! They even have a bowl of doggie biscuits on the counter. Not a restaurant but a wonderful cafe with great atmosphere.

Had the special, Spicy sausage, in a tomato sauce, egg, chorizo & herbs with sourdough bread. Absolutely amazing, good kick on the sausage, portion size was ample for lunch.

What a great place, heard about it through word of mouth. Ordered the door stop sandwich which certainly lived up to the name. Staff were really friendly and helpful, tables etc all clean and easy to access.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here - the food was incredible and so reasonably priced! The staff were so welcoming! We loved that dogs were allowed inside the building - we will definitely be back for a cuppa and slice of cake after a dog walk very soon.

This place is fantastic! As unrealistic as it may seem, everything that I’ve ever ordered here has been fantastic! Could not recommend highly enough.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. However, that's where it stopped for us. The food was average at best. Our expectations were quite high given the price, but the quality was akin to Wetherspoons food with a sprinkling of micro herbs on top. All of this I could have got over, if it weren't for the lack of hygiene. Considering people were allowed to bring their dogs into the cafe, we did not once see any of the tables being sanitised between guests. Our table was covered in mud and dog hair from the previous guests and the floors were filthy. I love dogs as much as the next person, but I think if dogs are going to be allowed into a restaurant then I'd rather see some extra cleaning being done to ensure it's still hygienic enough to eat there. Sanitising tables between guests as a minimum should be standard.

highly recommend they catered for six of us and everyone's food was excellent, staff were all very welcoming and friendly. will definitely be back more often

Amazing food! Really recommend! I'm not a fan of the new business park/industrial estate.. just seems like such a strange place to have such a lovely little cafe but it is nice to have a lovely place for a coffee and bite to eat when we are walking at the discovery park, dog friendly too so always a winner for me!

Too crammed, tables far too close to the serving counter/till. Young girl behind counter totally ignoring customers - tbh we nearly walked out. BUT the food we had was good and sure it will do well - just acknowledge customers and create a bit more space near the counter please. 😉

Surprised at so many positive reviews. I found this place completely soulless. Reminds me of sitting in a hospital canteen. No atmosphere, no character. The beans on toast was a joke, barely any beans on the toast, toast un buttered, dry and awful. Poached eggs were not proper poached eggs, served with hard yolks and in a perfect half moon shape which didn’t suggest they were poached properly. Very disappointing and the game needs upping if I were to return.

Our second visit. Really nice place for a coffee and lunch. Easy (free parking - just sign in at the food counter) Good food and coffee. Lots of choice. Friendly, personal service. Gets busy quickly, not a negative comment, but there is outside seating if the weather is fine. Definitely recommend

Lovely little venue. Ideal after a walk around Great Notley. Indoor and outdoor seating and on a sunny day good place to watch activity on new buildings.

Just popped in for a coffee and a cake, the coffee was very smooth and the Biscoff was to die for! I will definitely have to go back for lunch as the food looked delicious.
