The best restaurants in East Midlands

Canceled my order as was getting free stuff I know this as my mate re ordered at his house and it was delivered was after my order was declined shame on you please do not order from !!!

Whenever I travel to Buxton to meet family, this is our go-to. You are always met with a smile, fantastic service and genuine interest in cask. They are so pleasant here and are so welcoming. I grew up in Buxton so this has been a massive asset to my home town. Just lovely.

I hesitate to write this I like this place and I’ve repeatedly told friends it’s a must not miss. But it’s changed, don’t know if it was the weekend factor or if places are getting stretched because of the dreaded delivery priority. Things used to be fresh to plate, sizzling hot and deliciously warm.. It’s still good but not exceptional. Sorry folks.

Wife fancied a Chinese takeaway so looked at China Moon on the Internet for menu,place order over the phone.....Had King Prawn Curry and the Special Curry with egg fried rice ...Got home and it was all eaten the food was absolutely lovely.Will definitely be returning and the service was fantastic. Thank you and see you soon....

Foods really nice from here …. but you could chill out on the chilli’s on the salt and chilli chips and chicken more chilli’s then chicken.

Have been here occasionally over the years and the food is consistently good and freshly prepared. The staff are consistently average, always seem a bit annoyed or irritated. Despite menu saying they take food orders till 2:30pm, they said they stopped serving at 2pm rather rudely. They regularly run out of some items, but on the whole, a decent place to have some breakfast, coffee or lunch. The place could be cleaner. Whilst it is an old building, it could do with a bit of TLC.

Excellent gluten free options with 5 fryers used so gluten free available every day without forward warning. Prompt with readiness when ordered online. Great findz thoroughly recommend.

Excellent. Ibrahim was amazing. We actually planned to visit the next door Indian but didn’t seem as impressive as this restaurant so decided to eat here. Ordered a variety of food. The service was great. Even after paying the bill, we didn’t feel like leaving. Very impressive

I haven't eaten at the restaurant yet, but came to buy some guancale from the shop. It is a fabulous Italian deli, cannot believe I have lived in Notts so many years and didn't know about it. Friendly service, and super helpful. Thanks

Great spot for fantastic authentic Spanish tapas! The food was really tasty made with quality ingredients. Nikki and her team provided top class service. Long story short my wife cannot eat certain foods due to IBS. Nikki was able to tweak many dishes so that my wife could enjoy the meal. Both my wife and I throughly enjoyed the food, took us back to Spain! The Gambas Pil Pil is a must 👌🏽 as are the cocktails! The setting is also nicely decorated with good music playing, no doubt a great atmosphere later on in the evening.

La comida era increíble, pero el lugar estaba helado. Traté de encender el fuego eléctrico. Fue grosero decir que lo dejáramos. Luego los otros clientes nos dijeron que nos fuéramos. Luego nos echaron. FELT ROBBED called in at dinner me and wife having looked at the menu we both decided too have soup and a sandwich £8,95 with ham or cheese didn't fancy ither but they did have turkey so we had soup and sandwich with turkey on instead of ham or cheese but instead of being charged £8.95 x 2 = £17.90 i was charged £14.40 x 2 =£28.80 for having turkey on a breadcake instead of ham or cheese i did think being charged £10.90 MORE FOR having turkey on 2 sandwich even Dick Turpin wore a mask

Cracking little pub. Great selection of live bands on Sundays. Decent beer as well!! Not had food there so can't rate it...
