Kim's kitchen in Derby

Nothing special, food and be on and off, and on occasion had not been fresh! Probably previous night left overs. I had noticed the curry sauce is extremely thick when it wasn't originally. They need to improve what they do as standards appear to be slipping. The place needs fresh decor as well. It's ok but it's not been great recently.

Believe me when I say we have tried all the local Chinese takeaways. Kim's Kitchen is consistently the best of the best. Really great food, good quality ingredients and speedy delivery. It's the only one we order from now.

I’d like to give Kim’s Kitchen takeaway shop more than 5 stars! Really tasty and great food with friendly staff, lots of parking spaces and they also offer great delivery service. If you are looking for a Chinese food, just go for it my friend and treat yourself with a nice meal.

Very friendly staff but food is not good, chips not cooked and ribs full of fat shocking with the price they charge this is the third time our meal has not been eaten will not be ordering from here again

Easily one of the best Chinese takeaways in Derby. Great flavours, great portion sizes and meat is tender. Cash only but there's an ATM inside the Tesco next door. Easy to park too. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Can't go wrong here

Menu says they shut at 11 pm, but they don’t answer the phone after 10. Disappointing.

Ordered from here for the first time last night, we had Singapore fried rice and a duck and mushroom dish. Both were spot on for us so we will return next time we want Chinese.

Stayed in a nearby hotel and came here for a takeaway. Food was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and hot. Box meal was tasty and satay chicken smothered in sauce and delicious. Very friendly service too.

Great Chinese take-away. Plenty of dishes on the menu. Food is cooked on order and is tasty. Phone orders taken. Delivery service is available. Open till 11 O'clock most nights, 12 O'clock Fridays. Closed Tuesdays. My local Chinese. It is currently cash only.

Best Chinese food me and my friend have ever tasted. Nice staff, not a long wait at all and food is always hot and fresh. Easy choice for our regular Chinese takeaway. Only reason this isn’t 5* is it sometimes closes earlier than advertised and doesn’t take card,.

Closed early. Arrived at 2240, already closed. Enough said. Should have gone with a competitor, in future, will do so.

Foods quite nice & i know it changed a while ago BUT why did you change the salt n chilli chips 😩 they use to be a favourite with the seasoning and green pepper and onions! Not a fan of the carrot sticks and lack of peppers! Hopefully it will change back one day 😋🤞🏽

The dish cost 5.50, the lady counted 10 cents without saying anything It was very sweet, sweet, disgusting ...... not good and tasted like chilly honey, very bad food.

Well we are so glad we decided to change our takeaway. Kim's kitchen was recommended by a friend and we were unsure of using them as we have used the same Chinese for years. So took a chance tonight and ordered from Kim's, we are in a food coma and loads of food left. Very tasty, nice and hot and delivered in 25 mins. Everything had that little bit extra flavour than what we are used to from our ex regular takeaway. Massive portions and will be a regular customer at Kim's kitchen from now on.

Rediscovered this Chinese other month after leaving the area and must say they haven't changed, as always the food is excellent and the service is brilliant. Great little takeaway and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Gutted: we used to love kims, next door told us 3 weeks ago they had a meal and is was not good. well today we paid £20 and in went in the bin, shredded crispy chicken was breast with pineapple ( batter had a funny taste) . chow main was brown mush over flavoured with soy sauce, it was all cold. pin apple fritters had no syrup. the curry sauce has changed it was like a thick gravy not curry. looking for new local Chinese

Ive been to a few places like this n i settled here .... The food is very good u get a good portion n the staff are very pleasant... I rate this place 10 outta 10 keep up the good work in there
