Han Chinese Cuisine in Harborough

Overall not too bad. They had a great lunch offer for £6.95 for a starter and main and the main dish is served at a very good portion. The regular menu was very varied and had decently priced dishes. The crispy noodles we got were around £12 for a big portion so beats other restaurants. The taste was fairly authentic tasting and was served fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend this place especially for large groups as they have large party tables with turntables in the middle.

Let's me start by saying food was excellent at this restaurant , from the chicken and sweet corn soup , the crispy aromatic duck , to the spicy chicken dish, beansprouts and garlic rice . The warm saki was lovely too . One star off because the service was lacking and at times we had to call staff ourselves to order . Once they arrived they were polite but consistently through a dining experience this should not happen . I will try this restaurant again and hopefully the service matches the excellent dishes next time .

Upgraded to 5 Stars.I can't believe we never written a review last time we came, before lock down. It's a 45 minute drive here, on a early evening in October, when it goes dark by 7. Had Crispy duck, spring roll, ribs and chow mein, lots of coffee. The setting is spectacular. Come see and taste the fresh food. Fantastic. 3rd time. Love the drive. 5 star place.

Myself and my best friend had the most beautiful meal at Han last night in Market Harborough. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had the banquet for two and it really was wonderful and so incredibly tasty. The service was really excellent as well and all of the staff are so very kind and caring. This really is a top class Chinese restaurant to visit. I have eaten in many Chinese restaurants in London and Han in Market Harborough is by far the best!! We will definitely be visiting again. A fantastic night out, thank you all so much!!

Good quality food, could expand and make alot more money by offering more variety of drinks. £5 for a bottle of water was abit much. But nevertheless, its a good eatery for quality Chinese food.

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years with my family as we love the food, it's always delicious and beautifully presented. The tables are impeccably laid out and I can see the attention to detail that's gone into the design of the table setting. The waiting staff are lovely and welcoming, and they make us feel well looked after.

We regularly go to the Han restaurant for lunch. The food is always very fresh and tasty. They do a one course lunch for £5.50 which is ridiculously cheap. I would recommend that you go and try the food it’s delicious.

Solid for dinner. Staffs is very friendly to chat they will help you what's good for you to eat.

I ordered a takeaway here last Sunday ! The only thing edible or nice was the egg fried rice. Chips were soggy and the salted chilli chips had slight seasoning. The Singapore rice had a couple of shrimp only? no peppers, chicken or flavour and spice. Spring rolls , no flavour or taste. We have Chinese often and this was by far the worse inedible meal we have ever had. The price was ridiculous. £47!! Beware of this restaurant at all costs!

The food was lovely, and service good. Unfortunately there were few diners meaning there was no atmosphere and it was cold. I was glad to put my coat on.

Had an excellent Chinese New Year Han banquet meal of six courses in a small group at reasonable prices. All dishes were prepared and cooked to a very high standard. Very friendly staff. Very clean restaurant.

Good lunchtime choice for reasonable price

4 people ate early evening. The table was attractively laid. We ordered drinks first. Felt that £4+ for a lemonade and orange squash was a tad high and the same for Coke. A bottle of wine (one of the cheapest on the list) was £19. Starters - 3 ordered the same and 1 ordered something different. The single starter arrived 10 minutes before the other 3. Mains were average and not very hot. Considering there were eventually only 4 tables occupied during our visit, we were not totally impressed with the quality of the food. Unfortunately we all felt that we have experienced better takeaway food.

We have been using the Han for years and it's always been top notch. However, we visited last Saturday evening and it was not up to their usual standard. They always put a bowl of warm prawn crackers on the table, but there was none this time. The food, whilst still great, just didn't seem to have the X factor. No After Eight's with the bill, there always has been, just small things but when paying over £140, I expect the same level of service as before.

Been going for years and have sadly seen the decline. Just had their banquet which was extremely poor. Service was average, the food was poor - deep fried chicken kebab was inedible. Sadly not a great evening and won’t be going back.

no stars would be about right....a Chinese restaurant that has no water chestnuts ,bamboo shoots or chop suey!! 90% of menu is hot spiced with ginger or chilli!! get the worlds first Chinese Mex place!! £4.40 for a can of tetley bitter thats 9 quid for 12 in asda....total ripoff !! The attitude of the management was horrendous although the waiting staff were very good, wouldn't recommend my neighbours dog eat here

First time and very nice. There is aromatic duck as a starter so we ordered the whole duck and ate it as our mains with lots of side orders. The whole meal was delicious and the staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely family night out. Thank you to all the staff at HAN.

The food was disgusting, i took my whole family, twelve people in all, and we all had gastroenteritis after visiting, if I could report this business I would, so this will have to do. The owner was extremely rude too and i would advise anyone to avoid, avoid, avoid

Nice and friendly staff welcoming to us and seated us when we arrived, gave us plenty time to look at the menu. We ordered the Han banquet. Drinks were served while waiting for our meal which arrived very quickly. Staff were attentive but not obtrusive. The meal was lovely well prepared and very tasty could not fault it. Each course was delivered promptly on finishing the previous one. We were offered more drinks as soon as glasses were empty so no waiting. After our meal we were left to enjoy finishing drinks and of presented with the bill until we asked. The toilets were nice and clean and smelled fresh The price was very reasonable and we all enjoyed the meal and felt full. I could not fault a single thing

We have been many times to Han , and on each occasion we have had a wonderful meal. It not the cheapest but the meals are plentiful and first class. If you have anything left and unless you are a large eater you may well struggle to finish your meal, just ask and the staff will put what's left into a take away container so that you can enjoy what's left another day. Well worth going

I went on a Saturday night and it was standing room only. However, the food was good (HAN Banquet for 6) and lots of it. Despite it being full service was also quick and we didn't have to wait too long for any of the courses.

Easily the best Chinese restaurant in the area this is a high-class restaurant with excellent food and service. All dishes are beautifully prepared and presented and the staff are amazingly friendly and efficient. Evening meals are relatively expensive but the lunch menu is surprisingly cheap. Very good wines (at a price).

We had takeaway so decor rating not relevant but wouldn't let us leave review without rating it. As good as any takeaway Chinese we've ever had.
