Don't really want to say how good this place is, it'll get too busy!

15 of us there last week to celebrate my brother in law's 80th birthday, service was good and the girl that looked after us ( sorry I didn't get her name)went out of her way to be very kind and helpful

Amazing carvery surely one of the best around. Lamb was absolutely spot on. 100% would recommend. Reasonably priced too. 5 stars all day long.

Sadly the staff don't listen. I asked for a drink twice er nothing... But don't worry us little people will go elsewhere.

A decent food pub with mainly Everard's ales. Food is nice, my wife had a steak and I had pork belly which was nice and crunched up with red cabbage and black pudding.

Busy pub that serves great food. Went here the other night with family.. Reasonably priced, was made to feel welcome, and the service was great. What more could you ask for.

First visit today. Popped in for Lunch. Service was excellent, got our drinks straight away, ordered our food which didn't take long to arrive. It was hot and fresh, and all our meals were delicious. A nice relaxed atmosphere. Will definately be back

Visited on the 17 th February lunchtime No heating on ? Couldn’t believe how cold it was inside, got told heating was on but funny how the radiators were cold no fun eating a meal freezing to death not happy Shame really 😞

Again we enjoyed another late afternoon meal. At a good price. Come and try, you won't be disappointed.

Well the beer is beyond reproach. Always well kept and brilliant. The carvery is excellent quality, better than most others.

Hi had family meal food was cold and no knives and forks .the gammon was salty .no condiments starters were OK. Was quite expensive and woudnt come again

We’ve eaten here several times, and you cannot fault the service or the food. Always well staffed, with a good menu to choose from. One of our local favourites.

ate here today with my family, we had a dog with us but they were fully accommodating and sat us in the bar area, service was quick and efficient and the carvery was fantastic, my mum moans about literally everywhere we go and even she had nothing bad to say! Thank you to the team

Food is amazing. A young lady called Lauren was very helpful and wished us a Merry Christmas. There was a man who served us and he was really nice but didn’t catch his name.

First visit and loved everything about it. First Christmas get together and everything was just perfect. Catered well for everyone in our large party. Huge well done to the head chef and their team, especially loved the sticky toffee Christmas pudding which was deceivingly light and scrumptious.

Been here a few times recently…. Fabulous service and lush food

It was supposed to be a Xmas Fayre do but they need to be told at the time of booking as the place was full. That was not a good start. We ordered off the main menu and the kitchen got three of the four mains wrong. The steaks had to be sent back and replaced. In the end it was a good meal but one of us had finished her meal before the others had arrived. The staff knew they had messed up and they took half the mains bill off without us saying anything. 😊 All in all, it was a good night out and I suspect the kitchen was under pressure and made mistakes. There is a decent sized car park but it was full at 7pm. We did manage to park in the last spot available!

Went to the Bull for a birthday meal with my family and had a brilliant time. The food was amazing (I ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection, also portion size was just right), staff were really friendly and made so much effort with us. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back ☺️

Wonderful meal at The Bull last weekend. Our server Lauren was exceptional and went the extra mile in ensuring 1 of the guests food requirements were met and was extremely helpful and genuinely interested in understanding more about the dietary requirements as they weren’t as simple as some allergies such as GF or dairy intolerance. Eating out can be stressful trying to ensure the kitchen are well informed of the requirements and Lauren certainly was 💯 with checking everything would be ok which it was. Thank you for making our visit a pleasurable experience. Food was delicious and all the staff were friendly.

Extremely busy on Sunday. Long wait for booked table. Need to move people on or allow for longer between bookings. Carvery in a niche and can cause congestion for those queuing and others trying to move about

Good honest food, the carvery is lovely and has a home cooked feel about it. Definitely recommend.

The staff are all extremely pleasant as they always are willing to have a laugh . The food is also great and there is a big variety of food to chose from

The roasted pork belly was excellent and to finish the meal off, I had a tiramisu which was excellent too. Topped off with great service from team leader Rachel who magically produced a steak knife just after I asked for it. Well worth a visit. Don't worry the cider was non-alcoholic.

We went on a Friday afternoon, soon as we walked in the atmosphere and welcome was fantastic. Very tasty food and service excellent, would highly recommend

Good pub grub, just standard food, but yummy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Can imagine this is lovely in warmer months with the stream running alongside.

The food is very good, made with high-quality ingredients. While the service was generally good (table of 8).

We are a local couple, regularly in for drinks. The bar staff are a wonderful eclectic mix of personalities and everyone of them are a delight. I must mention Lauren, she is forever smiling and always gives her 100% effort to make you feel the most important person at the bar. This pub is fantastic and a joy to have on my doorstep. Please do not forget to remember the drinkers in this wonderful pub, I know food is where the money is, but the rating for atmosphere is based on the lack of tables available in what has been set as the drinking area but is regularly used to take in overflow bookings and in turn ruins the drinkers atmosphere.

Always such good food, the service was great, special mention to Lauren who went above and beyond to help cater for our Son’s needs - thanks so much 🥰 Highly Recommend 👌🏼

Lauren was absolutely amazing.We were a large party, and she couldn’t do enough for us.

Fantastic food onion rings amazing we had our dog with us so sat in the dog freindly part which we were very pleased about thanks, however, the table needed cleaning and the menus was sticky great shame

Slightly expensive but you pay for what you get. The food is not your normal standard of pub food, it's what you would expect in a top restaurant

Took out the family for a spot of lunch. Had herd good things about The Bull, well they where not wrong. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Food was great, and 1 of us isn't easily pleased, even they where happy. Already planning our next trip there.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Just a shame that sometimes the waiters were a little rude an abrupt when spoken to, like asking for sauce or a drink.

Our server James made our visit really enjoyable. We missed the carvery as we were not aware it was only served until 6pm. We shall be back for the carvery again soon.

Great place for a drink. Have eaten here today for the first time with my granddaughter. Will not be eating here again. The only good thing about the food is the chips. Staff are great.

Food was decent, above average but not exceptional, staff were friendly and effective. Although it may not be a chain it feels as soul-less as a chain.

On a hot day i wanted a drink somewhere nice to cool off and this place was recommended to me by colleagues and friends... after sitting in a beautiful garden by a stream i changed my plans and decided to have lunch... just wow amazing food amazing prices ... the staff are friendly and welcoming and the place itself is huge seen lots of families enjoying the garden will definitely be going back...

Another great meal at the Bull, came here for the second time, nice friendly staff, good atmosphere, meals very good 😊 fantastic service by Morgan very tentative, the things we asked were done straight away even offered us two lots of steak knives 🔪 lol 😂. Well done would recommend, good food good value. All staff working very to keep the place moving and also very clean staff keeping the outside ground clean, no glasses piled up on outside tables very good to see. A big well done to the Bull staff 10/10. ,

Lovely pub, with friendly staff. The food and drink selection is good, and when the weather is on your side, you can sit outside with the sound of the stream gently lapping by you. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed a meal in the garden as we had our dog with us. Food was delicious especially the burgers. Service was good too.

Our party of four really enjoyed their meals. All of the food was exceptionally well cooked, presented, and served. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Will definitely be returning to this and other pubs of the same chain. Prices were reasonable as well.

Thought classier than the lime tree .. but sadly no different. Full of chavs with tats sat without tshirts as a nice day yesterday, so they thought this was appropriate. Whilst they let their kids kick footballs around other people's tables and at the neighbouring houses fence panels. Dogs off the lead and filthy tables not cleared of glasses and plates. Not for us.

First time visiting for a family meal and I would highly recommend. Friendly staff great food and drink. Outside space also looks great for the summer.

Really busy but there were plenty of competent staff. Our meals were really well prepared and above average quality for a pub meal. Drinks were a bit pricey but that's probably just me

We've visited The Bull a few times recently and would highly recommend eating here. Easy parking, very relaxed, clean, and the tables are spaced nicely. There's a lovely stream that runs along side of the restaurant, which is very nice to see if you sit by the windows. The food is very good, especially the Sunday carvery, and all of the staff are 100% polite, professional, and always smiling! Keep uo thevgreqt work all the staff at The Bull!

Lovely food drink and atmosphere

Visited on Easter Sunday. Nice entrance way across the stream and very light, airy and modern inside - good selection of tables and comfy seating all round. Seated and attended to very promptly and in a timely manner throughout. Great menu and all reasonably priced. Settled on the carvery pretty quickly and was not disappointed. All felt freshly cooked and not mass produced. Good choice of desserts too. Overall a great place for food. Will definitely return when we're back this way visiting family again.
