Absolutely can not fault Dhan Shiri, easily the best Indian food I’ve ever had.

Comfortable surroundings, meal was nice and service fine.

Superb pub, fantastic atmosphere, a warm welcome and amazing staff. This place is always consistently excellent and my friends and I love to have our get togethers here. We know the food will be good and the beer and wine is delicious.

Following a lovely night at the pub I encountered some significant health issues. Katie was very supportive throughout and I can't thank her enough Lovely pub - good drinks and very supportive staff

Double cheeseburger and chips and curly fries. X 2 .Burger tasted of old fat, curly fries dreadful, hard,normal fries just ok. Food almost thrown at you. Plus cold.

Omg so happy we found this little gem of a place. The staff are amazing, the food was delicious and just a cosy peaceful evening meal, will definitely come back, so welcoming .

What to say, the food was delicious and well cooked, you can see why this place wins awards! (and generous portions too). Service staff were excellent. I’ve booked some duff restaurants for my wife’s birthday in the past, but this one was a success.

We went to the old talbot today the waitress could not do enough for us . The food was not very good the chicken parmigiana was so dry and overcooked could not be eaten . The beef cobbler was nothing like the descrption in the menu it was a beef srew with a few bits of fatty chewy beef in a bowl of gravy looked like soup with 2 raw dumplings not a cheese scone in sight and the veg was in the gravy mash came out later after the chef forgot . We paid nearly £30 for a steak that came out cold .We did not enjoy the cheesecake . Tasted vegan .

Great atmosphere and value. Andy and Susan are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Hope they will start doing food soon

Went for my dad's 60th. I went with my dad, grandad and aunty. Nice place to get together for a family meal or meet up with friends and family.

Wonderful food… pie as well as the homemade tartare sauce with the scampi. Andy always does amazing food… thanks! And a lovely warm atmosphere 😁

The Rose and Crown Charlton we had Amazing food, Amazing staff, probably the nicest Sunday lunch I’ve had in ages. Definitely worth a visit
