The best restaurants in Mapperley Nottingham East Midlands

I went to visit this place today and realised it has closed. Iused to sell amazing Jerk chicken wraps. Staff where always polite and friendly. If anyone knows where this shop has moved to I'd love to know.

No dejes que te desanime el exterior y la decoración interior, la comida es fantástica. Paramos en la posibilidad de obtener una mesa, el lugar estaba vacío. Pedimos bebidas y para ser sincero casi salimos. El lugar necesita urgentemente actualizarse. No lo hicimos y decidimos pedir, no esperábamos que la comida fuera brillante, pero para ser honestos, así fue. Buena comida a un precio razonable, qué más se puede pedir.

Found the Duke of Cambridge by sheer luck. Was helping out at a charity fete at St Judes church but arrived too early. Saw the pub and decided to get out of the cold and have a wet or two. Pleasantly met by the lady behind the bar, pint of John Smiths and a seat by a lovely log fire. Asked about food ( this was about 12-00 midday, young gentleman informed me that the kitchen wasn't open yet. I thought " ah well- I'll hang on" but then the lady informed me that the chef was going to make an extra effort to get me a meal. I chose the sausage- with chips instead of mash. Brilliantly cooked served with a lovely gravy ( my apologies but had to leave a few chips) Everyone at the pub went out of their way to make this 87 yr old RMP veteran welcome and comfortable. Just ordered a pizza not long ago ,as usual it was beautifull ,and they even gave some nice coleslaw complimentry. But most of all there service is spot on from the lady who spoke to me to change something on my order and the lovey guy who delivered my order very nice and polite . Thanks ivan ,gedling

Like a soup kitchen but cost nearly as much as a fine diner. Very disappointed. Definitely not going back

There is not any service l, except reception service which is really good.

Order was placed early, but delivery late and food was very cold. so much for the service and delivery charges I was charged. what is the point, when it is abysmal service!!!!!

Este restaurante es maravilloso. Tiendo a quedarme en este hotel por negocios cada semana, pero no he revisado, cada comida que he tenido ha sido increíble. El personal siempre atento, amable y servicial. Gracias de nuevo por una comida maravillosa.

I went for a Christmas special meal and the chicken starter was pure salt. The beef roast dinner, I couldn't eat any of it. The veg was too tough and the pigs in blankets were underdone. My friends had turkey which came with roast potaotes but the beef (which is what i had) came with mashed potatoe, which doesnt make much sense. It seems like they're trying to make the food something it's not. Last years menu and food was much better. It may have been pub grub but it definitely tasted a lot nicer, you got your money's worth and the menu made much more sense. The dessert which was a brownie came cold and they gave me one measly little bit of whipped cream, it definitely wasn't worth the money that it costs and I probably wouldn't come again.

Nice hotel entrance and parking facilities, easy access ,rooms were good but very very small you could just walk past the bottom of the bed ,bathroom nice shower is a overhead and excellent, only problem was the basin was blocked . A little dated in areas of the room and hotel ,but I must say the reception lady was tremendous, we has a very stressful day as my partner had just lost her dad at the city hospital and she was fabulous with my partner and step daughter, so she needs recognition for her skills . Overall a very pleasant overnight stay ,I had use of the gym in the morning and the girls went swimming
