I asked for a £3.50 burger and he made a meal and I said I asked for just a burger and he started disagreeing with me and being aggressive wanting me to pay £6.99 for a burger meal with kebab and a drink which I didn’t ask for, the place looked dirty and the claw used for the salad was left on a dirty countertop that he had to search around for; it was pricy and didn’t look worth it and I didn’t get to eat it. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody

shocking very shocking large chips was a joke very small .cheese burger was flat chucked together with onion portions are ridiculous id give no stars iv posted the food on Google. rang them explaining this they think these tiny portions are ok 2 tea spoons of beans I could not believe my eyes if I'd bought from inside the shop I would of asked for my money back and gave the food back prices go up yes but portions of food shouldn't be rations. I would 100% save ya money 👎👎👎

Shocking just Shocking burger meal was sqoshed with little onion on it I requested all salad completely ignored? 3 large chips £9 ?? Was a joke very small portion. I'd be ashamed to serve this to homeless let alone us . Rang them they didn't see the problem with what they served it does when it cost over £25 I will be putting the pictures on of the burger see for yourself. Pot of beans were a joke to . I do agree this place needs closing down and learn how to do food might be acceptable for you but not us when we have worked our arses off for this garbage worst chippy around Nottingham avoid at all costs

they dont sell large in there sides you only get a small pot and they missed items

Ordered a large sheesh kebab, portion was tiny bearly be considered as small never mind ment to have been large. Family member had recommended sheesh kebab but when they saw they was shocked and said when they had it, theirs was considerable bigger portion. Burger meal again portion size not great not as bad as the sheesh kebab but could have had a little more. Tasted OK overall

Never let us down, last time we ordered they forgot our drink, offered to come back and refund us or next time we order they will bring a drink and some chips- we took them up on this offer this time round and all was okay- very good takeaway

Exactly what you expect. Nothing special but not bad either. Reasonably good pizza. Reasonably good kebab. reasonable burger. Might order again when I'm not feeling anything adventurous.

I ordered bbq chicken wings but received mint wings, mixed kebab was so spicy that I have to throw most of it in the bin.

Delivered quick, great kebab and chips. Haters need to realise times have changed, you get slightly less for your money. We've been going for years

Last time goid was decent enough this time all was very poor cold items missing inedible chips vike looking burnt pizza and missing toppings very poor snd was really hungry after 14 hrs day

Tried the Indian, kebabs, pizza all amazing. New to the area and been to many of the takeaway within a 4 mile radius, definitely the best by far.UPDATE 2024 and still one our favourite places for a kebab

i ordered a tuna and mayo jacket spud it was broken and hardly any tuna could not eat it

Food was nice not very hot, and unfortunately wasn't a good deal for money, not much kebab meat,Chilps or salad or sance

Me and my husband ordered from this place first time absolutely shocking!! Ordered one large doner kebab and one large chicken tikka with chips. Portion size was like a kids meal, dry meat, no flavour, picked up from the takeaway staff had faces on like it was a funeral, unwelcoming atmosphere called back and response was the guy in kitchen made it we opologise. Never again check the reviews yourself don't order from here. Place needs to be shut down disgraceful!!

Paid £7 for a chicken kebab and got 8 pieces of chicken. you get virtually nothing for your money, also ordered chips with cheese and the cheese hadn’t even melted!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Best donner kebab in Nottingham

Food lovely as always but disappointed by service tonight 5mins after delivery driver comes back saying he gave us wrong drinks took back ones we had we expected him to swap them for right ones but he got in car and drove off rang shop they said they'd send new one and an hour later still no drinks

Chips were rock hard must have been sat in the hot tray for hours.

Asked for no sauce and was covered in ketchup so disappointed don't do ketchup but he was very sorry and did me a new one very happy but very hungry having to wait even longer. But thank you guys for rectifying the mistake. X

Normally great food but tonight was disappointing peas lid wasn't on properly so leaked all over so hardly any peas and chicken pie very disappointing.

Was missing chips from my £15meal . Don't get much for price. Wings were burnt

Dont ever visit this place, ordered a kebab as normal and the service was grotesque the worker kept spitting in my face and my food was greasy, cold, raw, had a cockroach in it. I was mind boggled. It was vile the chips were dry and had no taste. All drinks were sluggish solid consistency made me throw up at home. Sue this place.

Unfortunately this will be our last order. The food has seemed to be going down hill since our initial order which was lovely. Today sadly the chicken strips in our kids meal appeared to have been refried leaving the chicken dry and batter spongy and the food was far from enjoyable. We’d not normally leave a bad review but hope this helps the restaurant to review their offering and retain future customers

Never had a problem with Shahs ordered from here for years but this food was rubbish burger meal hardly no chips burnt burger and half the cob was rock hard the kebab wasn't the best either the salad wasn't decent and they put hardly any mint yogurt in my dip, cans of pop were fine tho haha really disappointed don't think il order from you again

Never ordered from here before but I fancied something different and I wasn't disappointed!! Particularly recommended the chicken tikka kebab

Thought I would try here again after a long time since I’ve ordered from them, wish I didn’t now. Pizza was barely warm, looked like it was for another person, had another door number on the box then scribbled out and had my door number on. Drinks weren’t delivered, phoned and said the driver told them to refund (?) chips weren’t all that nice either. Only thing half decent were the kebabs.

Pizza was overcooked and the base was burnt and crispy, the batter on the sausage was embarrassing, it literally fell off as we opened the wrapping and the batter over the sausage was so minimal. We wouldn't hurry to order again.

Ordered a donner kebab, got sent chicken which I wouldn't of been so bothered about but the chicken was very dry, the chips tasted weird aswell.

Not even going to bother writing anything. Been once, won't go again.

Ordered takeaway came to nearly 20 pounds give instructions to ring me when he arrived because theirs 3 blocks of high rise of flats the names of flats are in lights and huge he rang and said he was here I went downstairs in bare feet he wasn't there I had to walk in my bare feet to another block of flats to collect my food when it arrived it was cold and was burnt we couldn't eat it I took pictures I won't ever order again

Don't think I will be eating here again. The food was early but was stone cold.. the 'large' kebabs are tiny and only had a few chunks of meat in it and what looked like the scraps of some old salad. Not sure how you can also charge £4.00 for cheesy chips and there was a sprinkle of cheese on top when a portion of chips is only £2.00. You are charging £2.00 for a small handful of cheese is daylight robbery. Food was half eaten and thrown away. Very disappointed. Wouldn't bother.

Wrong order person on phone had no idea what was saying

the worst take away I have ever ordered. Do not waste your money!! Greasy liquid poured through everything and went over everything in the bag. The chicken kebab was pure fat we couldn’t eat it. Ordered 2 cans of Diet Coke and got normal delivered.

Terrible tonight don't mind about the curry cause got money back but no cucumber when I asked for it so chucked half in the bin it was abit cold & the chicken leg was horrible

Straight in the bin. I’ve used Shah’s regularly for a long time but the food delivered today wasn’t edible. They had obviously run out of sheesh kebab and managed to find 4 bits of already cooked meat that was the cooked again and was so black as to be inedible. The chicken was grey and the whole meal was not something I’d have been happy eating. I won’t be using them again which is a shame as they have previously been good. The food delivered today was insulting and shows that I am not valued in any way as a customer.

No salad on the kebabs even though asked in the notes. Too much sauce food was drowning in. Pizza too burnt to eat. Used to be a regular customer here but no thanks

Got large donner kebab. Delicious meat thinly sliced, fresh salad, also freshly made naan. I would give 5 stars but their website mentions they accept visa, so cash only.

Kebab not Upto much, curry sauce didn’t touch, chips were tasty

Food was over 30 minutes late, the delivery driver argued with my partner that it wasn’t late and the restaurant never answer the phone.

Missing order Issue with the salad received Restaurant wouldn't take any blame but did send another but it was cold and not hungry by time it come so wasted money. Pizza was enjoyed by the family though.

Orded mix grill kebab was good value just didn't look nice big tray of meat covered in sauce no salad if I'd of know what it look like I'd of orded a normal one just didn't look appitizeing that's all
