Inadvertently the person on the till had undercharged for our order. We then had to change the order because no marmalade was available. The assistant sought support from Julie to work out the difference in cost.
When I began to offer an explanation as to what had happened, Julie rudely interrupted, dismissing what I had to say. She continued assertively, seemingly to inform me of what I already knew.
Having had a career in the customer service industry for over 40 years, including service to royalty and celebrities, I have to say that this is the rudest encounter I've ever faced.
There was no remorse and seemingly no sense of self awareness.
I would not recommend this establishment to anyone expecting courtesy.
This place is a brilliant idea and averages out to about £5 per pint with a great variety of drinks to choose from!! Whilst we didn't try the food the drink sense service set up was amazing and the people teaching you how to do it are friendly polite laid back and knowledgeable!
We were regular visitors for food but after three visits of returning cold food, only to receive more cold food. We have decided enough is enough. Complaints only got us apologies. We will go elsewhere in future.

Thank god it’s closed down!
Was forced to attend a work social dinner there 3 weeks ago as a farewell meal for our offshore team who were working in the UK over the summer months. It was a terrible choice of venue - shockingly unhealthy menu options. There were 20 people in our group and every single person from overseas was disappointed and disgusted with the food they received. None of them finished even a single plated meal. It was an embarrassment that our management decided upon bidding them farewell with ‘saturated fat and high cholesterol on a plate’ as a symbol of Great British Food . The team were ‘our guests’ and even fed back individually “honestly, the food was horrible. Really really bad. No one liked it.”
This was my first visit to this steakhouse and it was absolutely fantastic. I went with my sister in-law for a girls evening out and thoroughly enjoyed it. We orded wine to start with, which the waiter poured for us and asked if we were ready to order. We asked for another 10 mins to make our minds up. 10 mins later we orded our food, which was 2 fillet steaks and a side orded. The food came in good time and cooked to perfection. While eating, the manager came and asked if everything was ok. We couldn't praise the service or food enough. She asked if we would like more wine pouring, which we said yes. After we had finished our main course, the plates were quickly clean away. About 15 mins later, we were asked if we would like a sweet. We asked the waiter to come back in another 10 mins, which they did and we ordered a sweet. The Mango Eton Mess definitely ended the evening on a high, light and tasty.
Overall the service was brilliant, the staff were attentive and really looked after us. We weren't rushed and must have been there over 2 hours. The food was served at the speed we wanted, and cooked to how we asked.
I wished I lived closer as I would definitely make this a regular place to visit. I will go again the next time I'm in Nottingham.
Thanks for a great night.

Pop into the dragon every Friday for a few drinks with friends. Become like a local. Great staff. Great music. Chilled atmosphere. We need to keep these pubs alive. Support local
I am not a curry eater, but I am glad I did go. I had the alternative menu and asked for the steak. It was fantastic. Though I asked for a steak knife, I really didn't need it, for an ordinary knife cut it like butter. The group all said they enjoyed the evening and the food. I know some establishments that would benefit from lessons from the chef.
Regrettable, there is only one negative comment: I am disabled, and the seats were low, with no arms. In such cases, I used the table for leverage, but this proved unadvisable as the table was not sturdy enough. With the help of my fellow dinner guests, I was able to rise.
