The best restaurants in Old Duston Northampton East Midlands

Very busy despite only opening 5 mins before I arrived. I had the "small" breakfast which wasn't..... 1 bacon, 1 sausage, mushrooms, beans and plumb tomato. slice of toast and butter, mug of tea with milk. All for £8. Lady was welcoming guests on her own and providing drinks and breakfasts. I waited no longer than a couple of mins for tea and toast and then 5 mins for the breakfast. Would recommend highly. Everything cooked exactly to my liking. Piping hot. Will definitely be returning.

No point in ordering if it will just be rejected; can't comment on the food quality as they obvs don't want my money when it doesn't suit them.

First time visiting. Tikka Masala was okay but some pieces of chicken was very hard and seemed old and reheated. Our other dish was suppose to have e a king prawn in but we couldn’t find it, mentioned it but the waiter said Yes it’s in there. Pleasant staff but not over impressed with dishes. Both suffered with indigestion throughout the night.

First time using. Extremely disappointed. Food arrived luke warm and the food had leaked through the carton lids in the box. I would not use again.

We actually live local and this was a random stop. And so glad we did. A really warm, friendly welcome. We had a big breakfast and and breakfast roll. And they were spot on. Hot and tasty with no scrimping. I would encourage anyone local to give it a try. Really worth a visit

Just recovering from food poisoning following having a beef chow mein. AVOID!

I can't say enough nice things about this chippy. I've had most things off the menu and not a single one of them was bad. The staff, the food, literally everything about this place is amazing. The fact that there's almost a 40 minuet wait every Friday night tells you everything you need to know about this place!

Great wee traditional pub, great service, friendly staff and locals.

Family of seven enjoyed a relaxed tasty meal - excellent range of dishes with well balanced spices Good service and reasonable prices - will definitely return - give them a try !
