The best restaurants in Delapre and Briar Hill Northampton East Midlands

My son absolutely loved the 30 Piece Maki Sushi Set from SunSushi Northampton. Unfortunately, I didn't get to sample any - as he wolfed them all down whilst gaming 🚉 (How is that even possible ???) 🤯 I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the premises this on this occasion - as the whole shopfront has been 'opened up' with the removal of dark window stickers . . so there is a new 'spacious, clean and fresh feel to the establishment.' A special 'Thank You' to Katia . . who is really pleasant and a great business manager.

Wow, where to start. This is probably the best burger I've ever had, and as my partner said "That must be something, all you ever eat is burgers". We both had the Bish Bash Hash and it was amazing 👌 We also had the Tata Tots which again, were amazing. My partner is fussy but the way she went on about these suggest they're her favourite! We also had the churros, again, not let down! Big portions too, we are stuffed and we shared the side and dessert. We were a little skeptical with only 12 reviews, wondering how good it really was. Could they have been written by friends and family? I'd say definitely not, they're legitimate reviews for sure! I'd honestly try this place if you're vegan, you won't be let down. This place doesn't allow for Dine In, even though it says so on Google.

Very disappointed with the food portions. I come here often and noticed how much less you now get in a portion. I ordered an omelette and chips for £8.90. I was given 8 pieces of chips with my omelette while my friend had a full plate of chips with her fish. I wish i had said something at the time but i didnt want to complain as service is normally very good

First Chinese Takeaway I came to in Northampton and can definitely say, I will be returning. Clauria was amazing and the value for money was great. Could not finish the food as the portions were huge for such a small price. Most importantly the food tasted Great!!

Really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely. Not too loud. Chilled out with my friends and prices were great

Overall we had great time Heavenly spot in a quiet Northampton suburbs Ample car parking spaces Lovely victorian building Nicely spaced out tables and good quality furniture Good quality food and Michelin star quality served in high quality plates Despite the menu says 7 courses but we had additional compliments like an amazing venison tart amuse bouche and a petit fours Staff were professionals elegantly dressed obliging and courteous The price tag is reasonable Unisex toilets and super clean Room for improvement: misleading parking signs saying parking closes at 5:30 Lighting of the billiard room was poorly lit and cold choice of ambient light and table lambs.. a warm light would have been a better choice Draught beer machine was broken and bottled beer served un chilled with limited choice White wine (pinot) was not matching with quality of food Sometimes the waiting time between courses was 20 minutes after finishing the plates expect full experience to last 3 hours The music was un modern and not matching the venue The raviolo dish was great but a tad cold The menu speaks about the history of the place which is great but we were more keen to learn about the chef, his/her passion and experience and the menu inspirations and stories.. for instance the lamb was sourced from Australia we didn’t know why and we prefer locally sourced amazing British lamb We suggest a member of the kitchen team to visit the dining venue and introduce themselves as we love to know the team behind the scene of such a great time and experience The plants choice was a surprise because they are not real plants. We read in the history description the orangery used to home plants so it would be better to keep the theme of living habitat rather than plastics Having fake plant in such an amazing place was rather unexpected and does not match the beautiful landscape view Overall a fantastic addition to Northampton dining enthusiast.. highly recommended

First time coming here,the owners are super friendly and the place is nice and tidy. Prices are way lower than others and I can deffinetly reccomend the place❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly staff nice atmosphere ( have made a real effort with the decor and table set up) delicious food - will certainly be back.

This has a good variety of breakfasts. Scrambled eggs and avocado to Mediterranean breakfast. I would prefer to be asked how I want my eggs cooked, like a real diner. Hard egg let's the restaurant down.

This is the place people! I am not ashamed to say, we get a take away from here 3 or 4 times a month.their dishes are just amazing, never had a bad meal.this is the only Indian take away we use now.delivery time is also good.friendly staff. You will not be disappointed.

I would normally give them 5 out of 5 but after today I will not be ordering from them again. 2 hours waiting for a delivery, phoned them up and it’s still not even been made and asked to wait another 20-30mins. I asked to cancel the order and the chap I would have to wait for the manager to come back, I said I wil wait to speak to someone else. He then said the manager said I had to request the refund through the website - you can’t, he told me the manager was out (another lie), even though they just said the manager had told him to tell me to go via the website. I held on the phone as I want my money back, and the manager finally came on the phone, told me they would need to speak to the website to get my refund and put the phone down on me. Very rude, unprofessional telling lies. I would not recommend buying from here if you want to wait hours for the food and then to be told lie after lie.

This is my to to chippy! Big portions, beautifully cooked food and most of all, wonderful staff! They always treat my son to a lolly, and keep him entertained with games of 'boo' ect while we wait. My all time favourite place, no other chippy will do! ❤️
