Wouldve rated it five stars for everything ,but guys you got to get the smoking area sorted out ,,me and my wife came for breakfast sunday and sat there and all we could smell was the cigarets being smoked out side ,,you gotta move the smoking area away ,its not fair for people to have to smell that or walk thru it

Great fish n chips and lovely to support a local business. Nicks fish n chips are as good as his dads were at the Westone fish n chips shop, for those that remember. Well done Nick, your parents must be proud of you and your team.

Coming from an almost daily customer who hates eating out and from outside hands ... Freshly cooked amazing quality food across the menu be it full breakfast, fish and chips or kebabs plus so much more at decent prices and good quantity, something to order catering for everyone's different individual taste and liking. Top class hygiene and cleanliness amazing and friendly well mannered decent staff easy to communicate with an impeccable service and regular busy atmosphere that all customers enjoy thoroughly definitely top diner in Northampton ... Well done guys you deserve this recommendation wholeheartedly and the smoothies are amazing to. Have not seen one fault yet and a diner to such a high standard ever in this whole town!!! 💯💥

After seeing all the great reviews,I had to give it a try and boy they didn't disappoint the fish and chips was epic( although I would of liked a lot more salt and vinegar) The service was fantastic and I felt at home. Will be coming back with company.

The breakfast wasn’t nice at all . The bacon is turkey bacon and the sausages were very cheap . I really wouldn’t recommend the breakfast maybe the dinner food is better

I was yesterday there I totally loved it I’m a fan of Fish & chips . His fish was not oily at all was crispy. The tartar sauce was no spot . Loved it Gordon Ramsey should try it ♥️

Been twice, 1 for takeout, 1 eat in, both times were great, freshly cooked food, service with a smile and good prices, Haddock was really good. Worth travelling from Kingsthorpe for it.

I love this place. The food is always good and I eat there often. It has many regulars which speaks for itself. Prices very reasonable. Service excellent. Billy very pleasant and usually there. I take my older friends there as it’s so user friendly.

Excellent food. We were fortunate to order a takeout when a fresh batch of cod and chips were being fried and were happy to wait the 15 minutes or so. The portion sizes are also very generous. As a grow man, a small cod and chips is plenty enough. I paid about £8 for this. The service was second to none. The owner and especially one the guys behind the counter was very friendly. I will return for their breakfast one day. All the food is halal aswell. No pork is sold.

It's been a while since I received such fantastic service which has prompted this review. The manager went over and above to make us feel welcome into his lovely restaurant. The food was prepared to order and very tasty, the portions were huge and the fish was perfect. The manager very kindly gave us some complimentary drinks as it was our first time visiting Billy's. Will definitely be calling again, maybe for Breakfast next time.

Having enjoyed a fantastic work lunch here, I decided to opt for takeout next time. As a young woman dealing with anxiety in new places, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the friendly young man at the counter. He made me feel right at home. The person preparing the food was equally friendly and talkative. The food itself was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant boasts a spotless, modern atmosphere—a true gem in the neighborhood!

Shocking bad the had full breakfast ate half a sausage which had no taste bacon is not what I got 3 rashers of reformed turkey with a supposed bacon flavour the eggs could have made keyring out of and the toast had margarine on it and cheap beans no wonder the place is half empty used to be a great cafe it's a real shame

I have had my fair share of fish and chips, but you know you have hit a gold mine, when the batter crunches when you cut in to it, and thats exactly what happened when I ate here for the first time, the chips were chunky, and the potato inside was fluffy. The mush peas were actual mushy peas and not watered down like many other places. Staff were very friendly, the place is very clean. This is actual seaside fish and chips without having to go to a seaside. I live 60 odd miles away but I wouldn't hesitate making the journey again if I ever wanted proper fish and chips

OK full English breakfast. Not very good quality sausages and bacon. Good coffee. There are much better places to go for cooked breakfast

We collected the food and service at Billy's was great - a friendly welcome! Food was freshly cooked, with generous portions and was tasty. We were pleased that all of the packaging was recyclable and will definitely be back again.

Best chips I have had for a very long time. Fish was beautiful. Kebab was lovely with lots of fresh salad, big portions too. Delivery drive was really friendly and polite. Will be using Billy’s again and spreading the word.

Went for breakfast this morning and wasn't dissapointed at all. Had the fry up . And most people would expect it to be greasy like a normal fry up. It wasn't. It was perfect. I am pretty fussy when it comes to sausages and fat on bacon. But sausages were lovely and bacon had no fat on it. Not sure if it was like turkey bacon or something similar but it was crispy and I ate it all. The staff were lovely and very welcoming and made u feel at home. Defo a nice place to have breakfast . Can't wait until we go again

Service is really good and food is generally decent.the bacon however is just odd.rectangular strips that look like thick ham and do not taste of much and are a bit rubbery to be honest.prices are fair.

Been this evening after work for a quick bite to eat with the hubby. Absolutely loved it. Great service and menu choice. Really friendly staff, they were attentive but the right amount. It didn’t feel like we were being stood over, but we’re definitely looked after. The restaurant itself is lovely and clean, nice seating areas and well presented. The food, I had a veggie burger with cheese and chips, plus salad. It was delicious! One of the best veggie burgers I’ve had in a long time. Great price, definitely great value for money. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely meal, nice and clean and friendly

Came for dinner, 5 items we chose from the menu were out of stock, we ordered mixed kebab which was extremely salty and some parts very burnt. A lot of the food was left as we couldn’t eat it, chef came out and asked how was food and we mentioned the above and he said ok and walked off. Considering we didn’t eat all the food we still had to pay the full price. Money wasted.

The waiter Edison was very welcoming, and was very friendly as soon as I came into the restaurant. The atmosphere was brilliant and all staff were amazing. The food was absolutely fantastic as well. Definitely will be visiting again and recommend.

I've just been and got a chicken burger. Usually, I get the mixed kebab and fancied a change. As expected, it was delicious! I've been in at all different times of day/night and the quality is consistent. Love this place 👌

Well, I'm a sucker for calamari. You do calamari right, you get 5 stars from me. Nice and sweet staff, even though they could do with hiring at least one more waiting staff, or someone that gets to cleaning the tables right after customers leave, so that new customers don't have to choose between clean and dirty tables to sit. The place was otherwise clean and quiet. Also reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Looks pleasant enough and clean, however I was extremely disappointed that they don’t serve pork meat.. so turkey sausages, bacon etc.. so I only had a tea!! So can’t comment on the quality of the food. Disappointed of course and they should make more obvious that they are a Halal establishment.

Best cod and chips in Northampton I've had in ages 😋 👌 and staff are very nice and friendly

Mediocre food and expensive. At £6.60 for a piece of cod and £3.30 for standard chips, compared to other chips shops in area, this is expensive. Other items not too bad price wise. The chips were not great, I couldn't eat the cod at all as was so dry and had an unpleasant taste and my daughter had a chicken burger, for which the roll had became so soggy, she thought she had some sort of slimy sauce she hadn't asked for on it, it had come from shop to home and was eaten straight away. Won't be going back, will stick with Richards.

Went in yesterday to try that all-day Full English breakfast - which they weren't serving. Okay, Fish and Chips then. Unremarkable. Mound of chips not worth eating. Cod you've seen thousands of times before, just thrown on a plate. As a side note...both loos lacked paper and no toilet seats. Classy. I would be surprised if they lasted a year. Nothing to recommend. No reason to go back.

Brilliant Great food great price

The food was delicious, I knew when the plate was brought out that there was no way I could finish it. I got a dinner kebab, it would have fed the four of us, two of us got the Donner and had to get a doggy bag, one got a chicken kebab, which was delicious and one got a mix which was also delicious. The service not so good, it was like we bothered the waitress, but all in all a great meal

We had our group gathering at Billy’s, 12 of us. Nice ambience, excellent food & service at a good price. Highly recommend.
