The best restaurants in North West Leicestershire East Midlands

Excellent food and staff but the carpark at the restaurant is problematic. Despite registering the car on the tablet in the restaurant we still received a parking fine notice which the manager kindly sorted cancellation of it the following week. Apparently a few cars received the same fine that night. I would park somewhere else and walk to the Orissa next time.

Fantastic small restaurant with a fantastic view when seated in the comfortable chairs outside and a beautiful walk around the lake. Do not miss this place if you are in the area.

Proper home made food ,the best pasta I've had in a long time,lovely friendly staff and service,will revisit.

We stayed 4 nights in a very comfortable room with parking outside and very good disabled facilities. All the staff were superb, they couldn't have been more helpful. The food alone is well worth a visit!

Great beer garden, Mel behind the bar is very helpful and friendly.

Turns out they have closed down but still accept payment on online orders. And Google maps still states they are open so very misleading Need to go via bank to get refund.

Really enjoyed the food at Smoke shack. Definitely the best burger I’ve had for a long time, it was deece! Very happy customer!

A great local village pub serving well kept beer and fantastic, honest, home cooked food with good variety on an ever changing menu. Dog friendly.

Loved the ambience of the pub, cosy seats inside and outside seats also available. Lovely staff!

Fantastic day ! Well recommended for everyone-magical peaceful place- beautiful landscape, with lots of happy animals ( over 200 alpacas) great unforgettable experience ! It was ours first time ever horse ridding - daughter’s best birthday present ! I’d like to thank you to our lovely guide Beth , she was supportive, patience ,kind, open, friendly, positive young lady and took great photos on our journey around farm. Plus - Cafe on the farm serve delicious food And all the staff is very helpful Thank you I would love to return again
