Excellent fish and chip night Thursday evening. Very busy and we had to wait a bit for our meal but it was fantastic and the landlord and landlady were lovely.

We had our wedding at Kelham House last week and our day couldn’t have been any more perfect. I could not fault our wedding coordinator Natalie if I tried! She went above and beyond and made sure our day ran smoothly - the day went even better than we’d hoped or imagined. Natalie made everything look stunning and was so thorough and organised on the run up to our big day. We can’t thank her enough. Another shout out to Brooke on service who was super attentive and also had a laugh with us and our guests. We would recommend this venue in a heartbeat.. huge thanks to the Kelham house team.

Two rooms booked for 4 adults. My wife and I arrived first and thought we would check in whilst waiting for our friends. Discovered that they had overbooked and wanted to give us one room with two double beds. Tried speaking with 4 different staff members but nobody could tell us how this happened. The 2 men were extremely rude and just not interested. Would never book here again. They eventually found a room in a different hotel for our friends and we finished up leaving and booking in there as well

We recently had a takeaway from here for daughters birthday. Pleasant entrance and friendly staff both on the phone and at the counter. Sign saying phone orders only, you can pay by credit card. We had a large order with several dishes. Most were really good, the crispy aromatic duck wasn't quite crispy enough for me but the sweet and sour chicken in batter were excellent. Will use again.

Service poor stuck in a back room. Came to collect plates when people still eating. Won't be going back. Lost its charm no staff communication

Disgusting facilities. Didn’t order food as after going to use the toilet facilities my shoes stunk of what should be in the toilets! Maybe if they actually cleaned the place and it didn’t stink of pish I would have ordered some food …. Avoid!

it's nice to get out of the house and come round here whenever i have nothing to do. food is delicious, staff are nice and the place is always clean 👌
