Burger King in Newark and Sherwood

Food was warm at best, chips soggy and missing a burger. When i called about the burger. The person o the phone was very argumentative and rude.

Somewhat slower service than I expected - nearly 10 minutes for 2 burgers with no modifications. Got home to find they'd got my order wrong (my double whopper looked very single to me). I can't even leave feedback on their own website because the store number isn't on the receipt. The catalogue of problems is too large.

They gave me the wrong meal!! I Ordered A chilli jam chicken royale meal with extra onion rings and got a double bacon cheeseburger meal with chilli cheese bites! Rather than me forwarding a complaint straight to the restaurant in getting the correct meal sent, They would rather send me a Full refund.

This has to be the slowest burger King ever. The team leader and his team hardly moved and didn't really care that there was people waiting for their food. They must have added another 60 minutes onto our journey.

Bang on, as always, delivered fast and with a smile.

Order was wrong, paid for 9 onion rings but I got 8, the onion rings were over cooked dry and had gone soft, the chips were in the same condition both inedible so went to the bin, the burger was good though.

Delivery time was good, food cold. burgers tiny. advertised as double meal, but comes with no drinks. feel very let down and.

Breakfast roll was tasteless. Coffee machine not working 10 minutes waiting and eventually left and went to Costa! Not even offered a refund. Rubbish I will not be back.

Bizarre concept of taking and cooking one order at a time. VERY slow as a result. Nothing fast about this fast food restaurant.

Food was cold, tastes like rubber. Over priced for what you get. The delivery time changed about five times so waiting so long for food. Shocking never again am I wasting money at this place.

Getting pricer with less fillings

Very disappointed to be refused my 20% discount on blue light card. We were told they dont take them anymore?????? Nothing written anywhere online or otherwise so why is this. I need an explanation before I report this to blue light. . Food was OK, chips were dry. Great gonerby is a better burger king for quality and they take blue light card. Guys you need to get your act together your place is like tha Marie celestial. Lol. Please reply a.s.a.p.

Bought a Whopper, it was tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Where you sit is shared with a Greggs and a Prett, it was a bit messy and tables were sticky but it was much like every other service station in the country.

Very tasteful Angus Steakhouse Burger with fries and extra King Onion Rings. But very strange taste of Coca-Cola like a mixture with tap water.

Live locally.... visited 3 times.... burger cold every time. Never again!

BK in a new A1 service station, so the atmosphere not brilliant but, bright, clean and airy. My wife and I had Chumbawumba, no Churro, no Chimichurro........or something like that burgers + likewise loaded fries. Honestly, it's one of the nicest burgers I've had. Fries great too, and even the Americano coffee was good. Within easy walk from Balderton. Nice 👍 😁

It pains me to leave bad reviews. Painfully slow service, I got the unfortunate pleasure of watching my burgers being assembled with zero care. All the food cold . Staff looked completely disinterested . Attempted to eat the burger but it was disgusting. Never again

On 2 separate occasions this Burger King has screwed up our order. Both times with uber eats and then deliveroo they have delivered half the order with no burgers and they reckon the staff haven't "communicated" with the delivery driver and that it's the driver fault not there's but how can that be possible with the same issue happening twice with 2 different delivery services? As well as the fact when you speak to the staff on the phone they seem to find it hilarious and that they're not at fault. Terrible service do not use this place if you're looking for food. Shut the place down and stop wasting everyone's time and money. Quality control needs to be here.

I’d love to give this place 0 stars but unfortunately it’s impossible . This place is run by a bunch of incapable people .The manager is absolutely useless. Please spear your time and money. 99.9% of the time food isn’t even in the bag. Always blame it on the delivery driver for forgetting the bags. The most annoying part is when you ring them and they find it funny that your order is completely messed up.

Bought a burger and it was cold, not really worth the effort, they don’t flame grill the burger fresh, like is normal in other BK’s. When Burger Kings whole thing is Flame Grilled and they don’t even do it, it’s like some false advertising.

Waited 20 mins for the food. So was expecting it to be hot. Boy was I wrong..stone cold burger and chips that were so so hard you could fix the roads. Best thing to do is to drive on to the next service. 3 managers sitting on there bum while 1 person looks into the distance contemplating the universe? Burger king you can do better....

Having been on the road for five hours and missed the previous McD's we dived into the Burger King at North Muskham on the A1 southbound. Firstly the staff were totally lethargic and clearly not interesting in serving customers. A burger, chips and a drink was ordered which was warm at best and tasteless. Oh and no Tomato or Mayo sauces to cap it all. The customer behind us complained too about her order ... not surprising! All in all, waste of £20.00+ and the staff a disgrace to BK ...

Lukewarm picked up so was expecting warm food...

It's great for a local stop or long haul, prices are more than the high street but it's in a petrol garage location and as we know greed is top agenda. Can't fault the service provided and the food as top notch on my visit also very clean and tidy.

Me my partner and friend all got a Burger King today, with it being Good Friday and our options limited as things were closing it was a forced decision, however we had heard good things about this ‘restaurant’ so we gave it a try. Upon arrival it was quiet, possible one or two other people waiting for their food and a few people dining in. We placed our order, it was not a pressingly large order it was considerable. My partner works in the food production industry and noticed little to no standards regarding basic food hygiene, one lady walking in kitchen with hair down no hat, no hair net, no one wearing gloves when handling food. My partner queried this and they explained it was more of a biohazard. Generally the staff seemed to be lacking, the individual calling out food numbers did so quietly and no other staff member corrected him and in general poor social communication skills in all individuals. Anyway, as said before it was considerably quiet when we arrived, soon after it got busier until everyone else had ordered and collected, with us and one other person still waiting. We waited in all between 30-45 minutes to get our food and only received it as we approached the counter to ask what had happened when they explained they had deleted it. The food was cold, made half heartedly due to the forgetting of our order, and we were not offered any apologies regarding the situation or any forms of consolation. On a further note, all 3 of us have ended up unwell, and unable to participate in plans. Completely unsatisfied and appalled with this experience and will not be eating at Burger King again, even if it was the last thing open. For the money paid at this fast food restaurant it seems a robbery on this occasion and 3 valuable customers have been lost directly.

Ordered two bacon dbl cheese xl burgers, arrived cold, the burgers themselves were dry and the bacon was very undercooked and fatty. Avoid this location

Not sure why you have so many bad reviews, this is my 3rd visit since you opened and I have always been served quickly and received hot, fresh food on all occasions!! Team need to be given a chance, they are all trying there best, some of whom this is their 1st job. Keep up the good work and ignore all the negativity, some people you can never please!

Worst Burger King ever when I went in there was only one person in front of me. 40 minutes later they decided to serve people who came in after me I spoke to one of the girls and asked why I was being kept waiting she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. When I got home I found my order was completely wrong. Definitely getting in touch with there head office an absolute disaster with staff who simply just don’t care

The hand full of times I’ve been in I’ve been waiting 30 mins plus for food. Not sure what takes so long. As for the staff they were very apologetic. I’ve seen more life in a bag of potatoes. Food is bang on average. Used to more from a Burger King.

We visited last week and were disappointed at waiting over half an hour for food. We have come back today and it was much faster with a much shorter wait. Hopefully they are finding their feet now. The food was all lovely and well received.

Service was great, fast and all, but the food was days old, and the portions smaller than regular BK locations. Doesnt accept any app offers or any vouchers. Stop elsewhere on your trip. Not worth the money.

Drive Thru not open not enough staff we were told, they even had a member of Starbucks trying to help so in total 3 staff. The food is quite expensive for what it is compared to Macdonalds and not very hot in fact I would say luke warm. We asked for large meals when we got home it appeared we had only small meals. The service is really bad but that is down to the lack of staff. This place really needs to improve or it is just going to get bad reviews and their pricing structure needs to change far too dear for what you get. Not impressed

I guess it's still early days, self service screens weren't working so had to wait to be served, took so long as staff busy preparing orders. Then the actual wait for food, heard our order get requested 3 times before finally it was ready. Maybe one more member of staff would help! Hopefully next visit, things will have improved and leave better review. The lady who did serve us was friendly enough so no complaints on staff

No staff to take your order, the self order kiosks were all out of order. Massive queue of people inside and outside at the drive thru. When finally somebody came to the till to be able to order told me it was going to be at least 20 minutes wait since there is only ONE person prepping the food. Unbelievable and frustrating as I was already sitting at the queue for 20 minutes. Decided to give up and left disgusted. This location should be closed, staffed properly and trained and then reopen. Avoid at all cots if you don't want stress and probably cold food if it gets there....ever.

Avoid this place. The staff are stupid and slow, the service is slow, standard items like a flat white unavaible as they have no milk. Theres a bloody shop next to them. Food was barely warm and the topped fries where a cold congealed mess. Stay on the A1 and go to the others.

Someone got carried away salting the fries, they were almost inedible - had to wipe them off with napkins. Burger was cold and bun was dry.

Both service and food are awful. Took 45mins to actually get any food and then it was dry and cold. Young lad serving had no idea who had ordered what or how much it cost, asked us how much we thought it was!

Food was tasty. Worth a visit just avoid busy times.

Very good quality, it only took a few minutes to get the food and would recommend.
