Great service even gave me a free cheese chip wrap lovely food definitely recommend everything came warm and not one item missing fast delivery and I live about 6miles away and still delivered to me more then happy and will definitely order again I wanted to tip the driver but sadly Uber eats wouldn’t let me which is a shame

We was passing though Newark yesterday and spotted this chip shop , we spent approximately £30.00 on items for the kids and adults I ordered hot wings I asked him how spicy the was he said not spicy at all more of low to medium ok no problems , I eaten them which was fairly hot spicy , the doner meat tasted off from the pot they put the slice meat in to , we can't turn back because we was on the A46 dualcarrige way this more I have food poisoning, from the chicken , please be careful what you order this as made me seriously poorly

Huge fish and chips. Fish tasted very fresh and cooked to order along with 2 battered sausage, was absolutely delicious. Had x2 (free) potato fritters while we waited! Outstanding. We will be back! Thank you!

Nice chips,one of the few in the area that are tasty and we have returned to . Portions are a decent size. Stayed open later as my son was late getting in and cooked things fresh. Had a hiccup with an order and they sorted straight away without issues

The worst fish, sausage and chips we have ever had. The batter was far too thick and undercooked. Nothing was crispy and all very pale in colour. Chips were also undercooked. Had to throw it away.

Fabulous food the haddock was fresh and very tasty and the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Highly recommend this takeaway and will be trying the kebab next with their homemade chilli sauce.

They cook the fish perfectly. Considering the fact that I love eating sea foods and have tired it in many placed, I liked the fish I had here a lot. Scampi (10pcs) and Haddock fish were delicious!♡ thanks for great lunch.

I bought fish and chips from here a few years ago and they were really nice. I gave it a go today and they were disgusting, what are they cooked in?? I don't know what the fish was but it wasn't fit for consumption and the chips weren't much better as they were tasteless!! Won't bother coming here again

It is a takeaway but as we had to wait, when food was ready they brought it out to us as we were in a Motorhome.

Popped in today at lunchtime, and the cod was freshly cooked as we waited, it was prepared quickly. The fish was lovely and the chips were great and freshly made too. Great friendly staff too. Recommended. 😊

1st time ive been to this chippy as I fancied fish and chips for tea as I was on my way back home from stock car racing at skeggy and it was really nice and fresh as fish being cooked on order I will certainly keep in mind when passing again as its certainly worth calling in so keep up the quality food

Ordered a kebab from here in my ongoing quest to find the best kebabs in Newark. Nice big portion of salad but only a small portion of meat. Everything came in the same cardboard container unlike other places I've ordered from which pack the meat, salad, and sauce separately; as a result, everything was soggy. The worst part was the naan bread however, it was hard as a rock and inedible, you would have had an easier time chewing cardboard. Note that I made the same order twice, a month apart, to test whether this was an anomaly or the standard, and it was unfortunately the same both times. The chips were nice, at least, being proper chip shop chips. As I ordered through foodhub I left a review to the above effect... and got a defensive, rude response from the shop claiming I had tried to get a refund and/or free food. I had never attempted to contact them or spoken to them at all, I'd simply taken the loss on my order(s) and left an honest review (as you're supposed to!) so that other people know what to expect when ordering. I would have scored them higher were it not for this awful attitude. Really did not leave a good impression at all.

Order quite regularly but disappointed tonight. Ordered 2 combination kebabs expecting mixed meat but mainly donner with a few pieces of chicken and lamb. Should have just bought a donner kebab instead of expensive 12 pound combination kebabs. Asked for no onion as makes me poorly, salad full of onion. Not happy at all tonight
