if you want food served by scruffy people and end up with food poisoning then by all means waste you're money here.

Large group camping close by and popped in here. Lovely staff, great service and great food. Best we've had in a while.

Great awareness of gluten allergies. A good selection of choices but gluten free curry sauce would be a great added extra. 😊

Good food but portions are smaller than they used to be and a lot more expensive.

Recently cut down on their hours and closing early and not open all the time. Fish portions are nice but on the small side but you do get mountains of chips. Kebabs are good size and tasty.

Please update your opening times on google if you aren't going to be Open. It clearly says you are open but you aren't

One way street but parking all the way down one side. We had fish n chips n curry sauce, chippy butty n battered sausage. It was fantastic. Prices are reasonable considering the present climate. If I'm anywhere near here again I shall be returning. Bang on.

They cancelled my uber eats order without even telling me. I was waiting almost an hour before calling them to be told they had no driver! They said they had no phone number for me BUT if they had googled my name and address they would have found a number immediately! That's the last (inflated price ) order they get from me!!

Fishcake seemed cheap and peas had set. Had Asked for salt and vinegar but didn't get either. Had quite a wait for our order. Overall, food and experience, average.

Haddock was fresh and well cooked. Chips (fries for U.S.) and mushy peas (very good Nottinghamshire fare) . Enjoyed it very much.

Ordered today. Will not use again. Very expensive chips were dry be and poor quality. That's why no one offers fish and chips for delivery.

What an amazing place , these guys are so helpful 😊 they even rang me and told me they had no pies so the owner put a few extra goodies in my bag and the delivery lady is so nice. Thankyou and I will continue using you even tho I have my own restaurant

Best fish n chips I've had in years. Fish, squid, scampi, battered sausage and chips all delicious and generous portions. This is probably the least greasiest chippy I've ever had, the packaging with greaseproof lined cardboard boxes definitely helps in this regard and still environmentally friendly. Everything was crispy, not saturated with oil and soggy.

Went in tonight for our usual and one of the staff was very rude practically chucked our order at us .we asked for it open she chucked two trays on top of the food and told us to sort it ourselves . We , our family and friends Won t be going her again . Absolutely disgusting service

Really large fish, plenty big enough portion sizes. Really good value for money. Definitely would recommend and would call again.

First time using this fish and chips shop and it was value money. I had a large fish and large chips with a large curry . It was better than the one we normally use.

Great chips and fish always hot and the staff are welcoming

Visiting the area on our honeymoon and treated ourselves to a chippy lunch . We came across robin hoods plaice. Quick and friendly service , scampi was to die for so nice , we enjoyed our meals up by the local cricket field. Would definitely return if in area and recommend to others.

Not very good had Donner kebab and a chicken kebab and the meat on both was cold,they cut it and then it stands in a bain marie where it is going cold till served.i rang up to complain to be told " thanks for letting me know i will see if the light as gone out" NOT ACCEPTABLE ANSWER THE PRICE THEY CHARGE.

Regularly have a take away lunch, not far from work so very handy, but always freshly cooked, staff friendly and is very clean

Disappointing food. The chips were soggy, fish over cooked and tasted frozen. Battered sausage greasy. The only positive was the curry. Shame we wont be returning will stick to dolphin in ollerton. The best by miles.

Nice fish and peas, bit dear but tasty

We only really use this when our local is shut to be fair, but it's not disappointing, a good decent chip shop, clean and well kept, not as good value as ours in Ollerton but still more than acceptable.

We use this when visiting and it is sometimes outstanding and sometimes poor. We have found the chips to be soggy on occasion and then other visits, beautiful. The portions are great- sometimes, and very mean others. Seriously, get some consistency it can not be hard. This could be one of the best with a few tweaks.

Good fish and chips and services was very good

We were staying nearby for a few days and decided we would have a "chippy tea". All 3 of us had Scampi and chips. Scampi was accompanied with a tray of salad and plenty of chips. really lovely scampi too. Would visit this chippy again and try something different as their menu is really good with lots of choice.

Busy chip shop, but very efficient and friendly service. Fish and chips were enormous and really tasty. Still hot when I got back to our cabin in the woods and more than we could eat at a very reasonable price. Great stuff!

Was just passing through Edwinstowe and popped in for something to eat, well impressed, very polite staff and the food was very tasty, I had a cheese burger which I fully recommend, and the chips are really good too, I’d give more stars if I could, it’s hard to find a good chippy like this nowadays 👌

Usually this chippy.s lovely but they seemed to have changed their chicken meat..it was very very fatty and completely different to what its usually like..the fish and chips however are still very nice just dissapointed with the chicken...and parkings a nightmare

we had fish and chips, of course. Parking can be difficult, stick with it though, the food is great and worth it. We went here whilst we were staying at it Centre parcs. Chip portion sizes are ample (small or large) and fish comes in various sizes.

Good clean shop, recently been decorated. Food was good well cooked. Nice takeaway.
