We have not had a bad meal from here , owner and staff are lovely, even get a cup of tea sometimes, 👌🍷

Nonsense. Closed way before they’re advertised closing time. Utterly pointless and the guy who spoke to me was a liar and said they closed early because side they ran out of food. We laughed in his face as it was lies.

Always used pizza hood for pizzas etc, typical takeaway fast food but it always arrives hot, within 30 mins and tastes as nice as food can be for a takeaway. Reasonably priced too and the delivery drivers are nice. Can't fault it one bit and been using for 5+ years now.

I ordered a Charcoal special kebab, and on opening it, it wasn't that special. Swimming in grease, and the lamb kebab was very chewy. 18hrs after eating this I had suspected food poisoning, I was in a right mess... I will not be eating here again....

Worst fried chicken I've ever had. Couldn't even finish one but without feeling ill, fries were gravy looking as well. Wasn't cheap either

Worst place I have ever tried in my life! Food was very late, very cold, we asked for replacement meal and was told it will be quick as no more orders, 30 mins past and still no food, we had to go to the shop to pick it up and half the order wasn't done. Very disappointed. Never using this place again!

Best kebab iv tasted in a long time,😋 😋 Owner even converted me to chilli 🌶 & mayo. Delicious food. Doner & onion pizza is so tasty & made with fresh dough 🍕. The burgers are made on a charcoal grill, amazing flavour. Fantastic prices aswell cheaper then other places & doesn't lack on qaulity or quantity. Delivery is quick & arrives hot🔥.

Appalling greasy food. Cold when delivered and look at the photos that speaks for itself. Told the price when ordered. On arrival was £4 more than was stated. Food horrible and poor quality. Safe to say won't order again.

Used to love this place but now they changed the chilli sauce its now got an awful aftertaste. The fries now have skins on them and the chicken burgers have clearly changed in quality. Standards were lowered yet prices never changed. Disappointed, was my last hope for a decent chicken and chips place up in Mansfield.

Decent food but oh boy. They got the order wrong and wouldn't refund. They sent another pizza and then the cheeky guy asked for the wrong / cold pizza back! Spent £70. Avoid.

Tried our first pizza from here. Will be our last dry no topping . Sorry but no different than a Tesco £2.99 pizza. Tried again after a couple of years no change,. Very small pot of kabab meat £5.80 cold ,, cash only? I wonder why that is 🤣

Food delivered cold them replacement delivered after being argued with. The replacement food was microwaved and steaming hot salad delivered. Driver argued and was aggressive, plus, refused to give a refund. He then dropped the food all over the drive and threw the papers in the hedge. Avoid at all cost!!

Ordered 2 delivered mixed kebabs with chips and salad. Both of these were delivered cold. After calling the shop and left on hold for several minutes I was told the driver would call round. The driver argued that the food was not cold even after I had given them back to him. He offered to make 2 more and bring them out. He arrived at the door with 2 more and they had clearly been microwaved as the salad was steaming hot. I asked him to take them away and give me my money back. He was rude, aggressive and stated that he didn't do refunds. He then dropped the kebabs all over the drive and threw the papers in the hedge and drove off. My 1st time ordering , when my pizza arrived it was cold , I called them and they was extremely helpful and delivered anothered. That was OK Won't be ordering again

This place is the best to have food from. Very tasty the staff are very polite. I’ve had collection orders and delivery orders from pizza hood and both have been amazing. On delivery the food is always piping hot on delivery.

Just your regular takeaway pizza place. Wish the portion sizes for none pizza items where a bit bigger for the price but the food is nice and tasty.

Always looking for a good takeaway in the area and this one didn't dissapoint. Good quick service when I ordered even though they seemed to be really busy. Excellent pizza best in town. Great service. I will be back!

I don't do reviews often so this is well deserved. I go to this place often. The pizza is fantastic and it's a good price. Honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had and it's constantly tasty.

A phone order with half an hour's notice for a pizza I get there on time they haven't even turned the oven on my advice is just go to the coop and buy something from there

Decided to try Pizza Hood tonight and honestly it was fantastic food! pizza was delicious and my side of paprika fries were very tasty. Staff very helpful and polite and the driver was super friendly and best of all not extortionate prices. Highly Recommend this place the variety of food they have available too...might try steak next time 😋

Very nice people and very nice food. We went to Sherwood forest and decided to go here. Small business but gave a broad variety of food. Would go again and you should go to!

Absolutely disgusting. First it took over 2 hours to arrive. The food is honestly the worst takeaway I have ever had, none of us could eat it. The little we did eat however has made us all ill. Never again, avoid at all cost 🤢🤮

Absolutely shocking. Not only did it take over one and half hours to deliver 2 kebabs (not in rush hour) but when they were delivered they were cold and unedible. The bread was stale and snapped in half (see pictures) the salad was old and soggy and discoloured as shown in the pictures. No good calling to complain as it falls on deaf ears. Best to stay away and order from elsewhere. As a local guide I would recommend anywhere else locally as it will be a better service and a lot better food.

Not good at all.. Raw pizza. Overcooked meat. No response from owners. Had to leave the meal as it was so bad.

Absolutely terrible... Raw pizza. Burnt chicken that's like a rock. Really poor... Not sure if it's got new owners but the food has really gone down hill... E mailed the owners and had no reply... Looks like they arnt really bothered.

Live local to these but haven’t used them much as we favour indian , however fancied a change, ordered through just eat, was here quick and the kebab meat was all good!!! Not bad prices either, all good on the 2 occasions we have used them

Ordered a takeaway for delivery on website, never received, rang for ages but phone never answered, ended up walking down and the shop isn't even open yet they've taken my money, now got to go through PayPal to get money back. I've ordered from here for 2 years now, this is the second major mess up, the first one I ordered and they didn't even realise I had ordered 🙄 Will never use them again.

Paid for our order, was never delivered. Went to the shop and was closed. Not even a sign on the door. No pizza and lost money. Website says open. Shouldn't have allowed to take payment if not open. We only get our pizza from there but no longer will as it's not the first issue. Previously when ordered to collect for a certain time, they only stat making it when I've arrived.

An item was missed off my order, when I phoned was told if I went to the shop they would show me it wasnt ordered. They still had the money for it through PayPal however! Also when I checked my emails and have indeed paid for the missed item, I phoned back, the phone was just left off the hook. Will categorically not be ordering from them again.

I walked in to this shop and was ignored for a couple of minutes, placed my order was told they only take cash so went to get some, after a 40 minute wait my pizza still wasn't ready. When I asked how long it would be he showed me a order that wasn't and he told me that what was printed off I said that I had waited long enough and asked for my money back he wasn't happy but eventually he did. I WILL NOT be going back to this shop.

First time I've eaten from here. Had the sirloin steak with chips, mushrooms, onions, salad. Thoroughly enjoyed the steak dinner but there was too much of it for me. Well worth the money.

I was really impressed with this place when it opened, fresh toppings and great bases....but alas same as so many others now...processed bulk brought toppings and ready made bases...cost savings I guess but has meant I go elsewhere now

Horrible, rude staff who were abusive over the phone to my little sister because we requested to cancel an order not long after it was placed. Disgusting. Will not be ordering from here again and I encourage others to order food elsewhere.

Food arrived 30 minutes early, but I guess the driver was in a hurry to finish their shift as the pizza was stuck to one end of the box with all the toppings sticking to the lid

I've had food many times from this place in the past and it's always been really good, although we had friends over from newark last night and I said let's order from pizza hood the food is amazing. So the food arrived and it was nearly cold, the potato wedges were swimming in grease, naan breads hard as rock and the chicken meat had been reheated to many times. Most of it ended up in the bin.

Tasty! Ordered a delivery which came sooner than expected with a lovely delivery driver. Food was amazing really tasty and cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend!

Delivered before to bilsthorpe lovely food best pizza and chips but rang up and asked to deliver to bilsthorpe and they claimed they didn't, when I said they had before they hung up Just rang up again, ordered all the pizzas and that first so they had it written down, gave the address and post code, they're delivering it.
