Useless wouldn’t deliver 9 miles away even though the just eats app said they deliver to my location and wanted me to pay extra cash because I didn’t have cash on me for the food they cancelled my order robbing con merchants

The worst takeaway I've ever had just got back home after ordering a mixed kebab and a cheesy chips and instead I've got 2 portions of old greasy stale chips and a bit of bread and some chicken would not recommend I've tried contacting straight away and no reply shocking

Best mixed kebab you could ever have! Just so god damn juicy and tasty. Always top quality service and banter from the staff too.

Only putting one star as it won’t let me leave zero. Possibly the worst food I have ever had, if the girl serving had smiled I think her face would have cracked. The chips were inedible and the pie must have been in the heater for a week, there were 6 of us eating…. All food was thrown in the bin. An absolute waste of money, don’t waste your time eating at this hole….

Just purchased "large" chips with fish. Absolutely horrible chips looked and tasted like been hanging around since yesterday dry withered and horrible and only a small portion barely covered bottom of box . On a plus the fish my partner had he said was good. Very disappointing.

large kebab, portion size of a large kebab is fairly small for £9, but the kebab meat was tasty, can't fault that. the pitta bread was rubbish, now I understand why they buried it under the meat. tip: maybe if you minimalise on salad, you may get more meat.

Chips & mushy peas for £4 around 20 Chips and the peas i didnt know if i should eat them or fill potholes in with them .

Always had great fish and chips from here. Never had an issue with any of the staff. Good prices for good food. Will definitely be visiting again.

Best chicken kebab ever salad perfect cut meat heavenly. Burger gorgeous. Doner kebab also perfect. I order one's a month but now only here.

The guy serving had no idea what he was doing, couldn’t even find the chips button on the till. Chips were stone cold, dripping in oil still. Couldn’t understand what only salt meant and doused them in vinegar. Chips were tasteless

We were on the river and decided to have F&C for dinner, walked up saturday early evening, ordered and were told 10 minute wait, which is okish I guess for fresh cooked fish. However it took 25 minutes - that is rubbish service given they weren't particularly busy. Having received our food, F&C twice, an extra fish and 1 mushy peas, we walked briskly back to the boat to eat them. Some of the very worst F&C I've ever had, batter was as hard as a roofing slate and almost as thick, the haddock was somehow over cooked and dry even though the inside of the overly thick batter was still a little underdone. The mountain of chips was underdone and completely colourless, and everything had been poorly drained of whatever foul tasting cheap oil they had cooked it in, plus the mushy peas were cold though we'd walked back fast enough that everything else was still hot, so they were obviously cold from the outset - NEVER EVER AGAIN

Really poor service, staff were not communicative about orders and didn’t ask us if we wanted it wrapped or not and kept saying our order would be another 2 mins when it was clear they’d not started it. Several other people were complaining about waiting time, poor and lack of communication whilst we were waiting too.

1st visit, lovely fish, chips & plenty curry sauce. Enjoyed it.

Slow and quiet service, food was nice, hot and made fresh! No hygiene rating in the window and really grubby inside! If you’re desperate for food it is good because it tastes nice but you can easily find much better! Wouldn’t recommend.

I recently had the Best wrap in the UK. I am a shawarma lover from India. Have been missing the good shawarma or chicken wrap in the UK. Have tried in few places like Swansea and London but haven’t tasted so good like this. The wrap itself was soft, yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings without apart. It was extra large pulled pork + chicken wrap. Good portion was generous leaving me fully satisfied without feeling overwhelmed and freshly made. This wrap is an absolute triumph in the realm of culinary delights. Treat yourself to this heavenly creation and prepare to be amazed. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

They served me chicken kebab at 4am in Newark. A miracle they open this late and a miracle I'm still alive. Would I go back? If smashed, yes.

Our TREAT takeaway! Abit more money than we usually spend but ALWAYS look forward to out takeaways! Everything's always so nice and great portions. You pay for what you get

I booked a taxi with my little sister and we had 1.5 minutes to get in the taxi he served up a chicken donner with chips and salad for extra. Genuinely the best kebab I’ve had in my career - quality. Friendly, top lads and great meat. Ring me if you’re unsure

Aggressive, uncaring staff and vile food, it would be 0 stars if I could… After around 2yrs and £00’s of custom to this takeaway, late orders (up to 2hrs sometimes) declining quality and standards (making me ill on more than one occasion)…I have finally ordered my last one last week. They got my order wrong (this may have been an issue with the FoodHub app?) ruining a £40 order. I called to explain and was told I could have a replacement, I offered to collect to save delivery and went back out to fetch it. When I arrived they tried to charge me for a replacement, argued about me (not in English) and then told me I had got my own order wrong and refused to replace my item unless I paid. FoodHub were useless in their handling of this matter too (so they are binned too). This place has declined over just a couple of short years, seems to have been handed over to someone who doesn’t care about the customers, just turning out greasy, nasty food, hours late and met with hostility and rudeness. People are so short of cash these days and takeaways are becoming a luxury, I recommend you treat yourself to something of quality and give your money to those who care about their customers.

Kebabs, jungle meat, fish supper etc. All really good. They do liver as well! Nope, scratch that, they do delivery 😁👍. Pleasant service in shop and quite quick to be delivered. Recommended.

We called in here on our way home for a cheeky kebab. All the food was really good, generous portions and fresh cooked. The photo is of the 'jungle meat' kebab which was pulled pork, chicken tikka, doner meat and chippy chips all on a fresh naan bread.

Ordered some chips, beans and curry sauce - to go with a meal I’d prepared at home. Made the order through just eat at 6pm and asked for ASAP (their timed delivery came up as 6:55 but I chose not to go for a timed delivery). Estimated delivery time came back as between 7:15 - 7:35 once I’d paid - I should have gone for the timed delivery but probably wouldn’t have helped!! Well 7:35 came and went so I called, was told they only had one driver working and my food wouldn’t arrive till 8pm. Again 8pm came and I called, it’s on its way I was told, called again at 8:20 and cancelled the order! It was clearly not on its way!! Why take orders you cannot fulfill? Useless. Won’t be ordering from there again. Just Eat need to manage the restaurants they allow to use their service as it doesn’t look good for them either!

We ordered £54 worth of food from here at 7pm via Just Eat. It eventually arrived at 8.50pm. There were two items missing and what we did get was pretty poor quality....in fact most of it went in the bin. So what started out as a bit of a treat for my daughters birthday turned out to be a disaster.

Ordered a naan at midnight- clearly they assumed everyone coming in at that time are drunk, not the case. Giving me a stale (rock solid) naan and half my order is not ok.

Probably the worst takeaway I’ve ever been to. The food here is truly awful and the place needs to find someone who can cook. Not even the chips were edible, the fish was grotty and the kebab and pulled pork were disgusting

Really annoyed tonight, went in and ordered a fish, fishcake, large chips and kebab meat between us (all of these things clearly visible ready made in the counters). 20 mins later we are still waiting and they have served every other person that has come in within that time period. Finally ours is ready and I get handed an open box with a fish in (I had specifically requested wrapped), literally about 5’minutes later comes the fishcake on a tray (again open!), which I had to ask to be wrapped to which the woman responded ‘oh yeah you did say.. and what else was it you were having?’. So I had to say again a large kebab meat and chips. Shortly after, I get handed a carrier bag and I asked what was in it and she replied that it was what I ordered so I responded where was my sauce? We get home… minuscule portion of chips, fish clearly was the one I had seen in the holding oven as it was extremely well done, KEBAB instead of kebab meat (which makes it worse that they didn’t bother to ask if I wanted sauce/salad) also clearly not large, and our fishcake. Honestly just really appalled that I paid over £15 for this. The service was disgusting. Probably used to drunk people who don’t know what is going on so they can get away with it but unfortunately for me I am stone cold sober!

Called on way back from coast yesterday 1/4/22 , really wished we hadn't food was diabolical fish & chips x4 if that what you call it ,would never eat there again ,they also allow kids to sit at table inside vaping ,poor in every sense of the word

Got a portion of chips at 5pm. They were cold. Threw them in the bin. Not worth eating. Very disappointed. Won’t be going back there.

Just placed an order …..pork ribs, nacho skin on fries, and jumbo cumberland sausage…… food was delivered really quick, but other than that was that very disappointed. The jumbo cumberland sausage was just 2 burnt sausages (the only thing on the order that was edible), the pork ribs were just cheap meat covered in batter which definitely were not ribs, and the nacho skin on fries was just a portion of normal chop shop chips with cheese sauce on them. What a waste of money as the only thing edible was the sausages…. and only had them as was really hungry.

Untimely. I ordered through JUST EAT, on a Tuesday night apparently it is so busy that the order was 40 minutes past the last time. However I rang the takeout and was offered a Goodwill and as annoyed as I was with them, the food redeemed it. The food increased stars review.

Very varied menu. Chips could do with a few minutes more but that's a personal taste thing.

Veggie burger and fish were well cooked and hot. The chips were pale and soggy and rather cold This was a home delivery and I don't think we would order chips again as we threw most away and it's awful to have to waste them.

One of the waitresses was extremely rude when we was ordering our food she stood and stared at us. The small girl with coloured hair. She swore under her breathe and my young daughter heard it. Her eyes also looked weird and she was famingv her too much time to do things. We will not be recommend this fish and chips as she ruined our experience.

Been taken over by new people it's still the most dire food place ever to exist,There is no point going to work on a Monday morning because you won't make it,they are just churning out the same crap for the profit as it's situated in...

Enjoyed the food, I travel quite far to get my fish and chips from here, always new faces (staff) they go above and beyond to make customers happy, I have personally seen this for my self, 5 star for all the effort the staff make, keep smiling 😉

Average fish with the battery being soggy but tasty enough.

Food was delivered way past estimated time, when I called the Shop when it was 30 minutes later I was told "oh yea that order will be sent when I get a driver back in about 20 minutes" so making it even later and no common courtesy to contact me and let me know, I will NEVER be ordering from these people again!!!

Food is cold and was a hour late

As well as late some food cold there were items missing! Battered rib & sweet potato fries were burnt so bad they are inedible!!!Japanese dumplings were cold & crispy, not packaged as usual so! Fair enough you say you are reimbursing me for my missing items but what about the totally inedible food? My night after a very long day is totally ruined, however can any reputable food service allow such charcoaled items even be wrapped nevermind leave the shop? I have photos because i tried to salvage the battered rib to no avail.

Food was expected at 1905, left it for ten minutes before contacting the restaurant and was informed that it would be a further 15 minutes.

Had to ring them to chase order after waiting an hour. Finally arrived 1 hour 30 minutes late. Food was not hot, but this is the first bad experience we have had.

Have ordered food today to be delivered at 18:20 and at 18:35 I rang to ask where my order was as it said it had been delivered on the app. The staff member on the phone was very unhelpful. She didn’t seem to care about the order at all and was just rude. She was unable to give me a time when I would be receiving the food, she wasn’t able to give me a refund and I got no answers. I am currently still sat waiting for my food and have already been waiting 30 minutes now. I won’t be ordering from here again.

The chips was really hard and dry we couldn’t eat them. Really disappointed I used to order a lot from here then my orders were always missing stuff. Now the chips are awful it’s certainly put me off using here again.

Great fish and chips. Huge portion. The Spanish onion rings were huge, maybe a tad too much grease though. Confused by the ‘halloumi fries’. They were mozzarella breadcrumb covered balls, not halloumi or fries. We order from here because my partner is a vegetarian and they cook their chips separately to the fish. Food arrived when expected (1 hour after ordering). Thank you.

Food was an hour late, I couldn't call them as the line was permanently engaged. When the food arrived the chips were nearly cold, the burger roll was dry, and the halloumi in the burger had been cremated, resulting in the burger being practically inedible. Not good.
