Absolutely great food. Catered for vegan. Food arrived promptly and was very hot. One of the best Indian takeaways I have had. Shame I don't live here. Has become daughter in law's fav Indian

I paid £14 for one King Prawn Dish plus extras. What arrived was basically a veg curry with a handful of chopped prawns. Great flavours but no content. Could barely find the prawns. I asked why there were so little prawns in there and why so small since I’d gone for the more expensive option , their response - ‘these are the portions they use and they aren’t large because they chop them up!’ If you are hungry and are relying on getting some protein, probably not the place to eat.

Ordered tikka masala ( was red and tasted like play-doh), pilau rice (was white and tasted egg fried) and naan (tasted like cheese flatbread). Was not happy whatsoever with the food would not recommend to anyone.

Great food and happily they gladly do me a chilli nan on request. Used a couple of times now and a top tip - grab a menu, walk round to the Organ Grinder pub and order from there whilst having a cheeky drink. (I think the Organ Grinder may allow takeaways to be eaten in...but best check first)

Fantastic food. Best ive ate in a while. Great service despite my mix up with phone number due to my own fault. But still delivered and food was beautiful . Will order again

Food arrived promptly, tandoori mixed grill was overcooked and dry, the borrasha special chicken was watery and tasteless, the peshwari nan had no taste - £35 for 2 people for such poor quality very disappointing, called the owner to discuss the meal and he wasn't interested, I would AVOID!!!!!

Absolutely amazing food, definitely the best Indian Take away in the area. Sometimes Indian food from some establishments comes swimming in oil, which can be really off-putting, but the food from Borrasha is wonderful and perfectly presented. The service is excellent and the staff are really helpful. Highly recommended.

Just had a meal from the borrasha chicken korma it was lovely we enjoyed every bit did ask for cheese and garlic naan but no cheese on naan but the korma 10 out of 10 will order again thanks

Disappointing. After using this take away before and receiving mediocre food we thought we would give it another try again tonight. Unfortunately we shouldn’t have bothered. Again, poorly prepared dry food. In these times of people having to use food outlets that deliver, they definitely need to up their game. Plenty of other takeaways that give good quality food out there to use otherwise....!

Wrong food delivered tough meat ordered a masala was bright red tasted nothing like a masala more like a korma

Chicken was tough and hard ordered a chicken tikka which came bright red colour looked and tasted nothing like a masala more like a korma Wasn’t very hot either.

Never has a Dansaak like it. There was no pineapple in it but was very sweat and more like a jam. Have had dansaak from hear before and was much better in the past.

Really well organised take away. You have to phone and order and pay on the phone. Then collect and they hand you your food at the door. Had a really good meal two starts, two chicken meals, two sides really enjoyable food but £32 felt expensive.

Service was excellent. Incredibly friendly staff and clarified any issues I had. Will definitely go again.

The best take away in Newark. Always good, polite delivery drivers, and always in time. Wow such delicious sauces to the curries I am fussy but food from Borrasha has so much flavour, not just the first mouthful, but throughout the whole dish. Only complaint is.....I wish they were a restaurant! Excellent and praise to the chef.😁

Ordered take-away. Service was good, food hot and fresh. Ordered chicken dansaak, was very sweet, almost like jam and bright red colour. Chicken tikka masala also coloured very bright red.

Ordered via just eat was surprised delivery was an hour on a Tuesday night so opted to collect. Food was very nice and good size portions

Popped in to grab a treat last night, ordered chicken tikka and egg fried rice, service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming and food didn't take long at all, however when I got home I was disappointed because the chicken was so tough and very hard to chew

Service is friendly but they need to learn that some people actually know what should be in Indian dishes. My Dhansak had bright orange colouring, far too much sugar and no lentils for instance, none of which are authentic

This has always been our No 1 takeaway, but no longer after Saturday night's experience. Our meal for five was delivered early, which was good. However, the standard was well below what were used to. The portions were much smaller than previously. The veg korma was watery and few veg, with big lumps of potato. The chicken tikka masala was a few large pieces of chicken in a bright pink grainy sauce. The two meat dishes were way spicier than expected, despite not asking for extra spice. The bag was swimming in oil on delivery. Maybe it was a different chef, but after spending £50 I was not pleased.

Had chicken madras. Chicken was dry and tasted ropey, and then they want to charge you 50p for using the card machine!!!

Good Indian food although it is expensive. IT'S now our go to Indian for delivery. Good range of food and they can add spice to your favourite meals if you'd like them hotter.

Ordered a take way at 17:00 with expected delivery time of 18:15, the food finally arrived 19:15. We were all massively hungry by this point to tucked right in, only to soon reflect on this is the worst takeaway ever. The low energy bulb finally kicked in and we saw that all of the food was the same colour and same hue of bright red. I have never had saag aloo bright red before. The food was swimming in oil, even so much that the carrier bag it came in had a tide of it in the bottom of the bag. The pashawi naan had no coconut or fruit and the garlic naan had no garlic. We tired to call the restaurant and they were not interested.

This is the first time we've ordered here and it is by far the best takeaway we've had in the area so far. The staff were polite and careful with our order, the pricing was modest and the food was so flavoursome. We've had a number of curries from other takeaways in the area and this was such a great surprise.

We have been getting Indian takeaway from Borrasha for years. The mint yoghurt is the best! The food is consistently good.

Tuve el primer curry de Borasha ayer, basado en una recomendación de un amigo. Era el mejor curry que he tenido en mucho tiempo! El servicio era muy bueno, y no les tarda mucho.

Pedimos desde aquí muchas veces y la comida siempre es precioso. La entrega es rápido, el personal es siempre amable al teléfono y los precios son razonables. No tiendo a alejarte mi orden habitual así que no puedo hablar de todos los platos en el menú, pero por lo que he probado hasta ahora no hay nada realmente puedo criticar.

Siempre había comida para llevar decente de estos chicos. Los tiempos de entrega están bien también ... max 1 hr esperar incluso cuando muy concurrido.

Ordered food from here recently and it took a long time to arrive (over an hour). Food was cooked fine but not that interesting as there was not much difference between two curries that should be very different. Won't be rushing back.

We have had food from here for many years and all of it is absolutely delicious. The curries range from fiery hot to fruity and creamy. The sides, starters and breads are also delicious. And all of it is very reasonably priced. A Must Eat!
