Fantastic dinner as always, fantastic service, very friendly staff, very welcoming and helpful. I couldn't recommend them enough for an evening meal for any and all.

We had a fantastic dinner at the North Muskham Ashiana - delicious mixed meat tikka, chicken korma, a duck dish and sides amongst the four of us. The staff members who served us were attentive and engaging - and plain nice young gents. If you're staying in or near North Muskham or just passing by, stop and have a tasty meal at Ashiana.

Visit on many occasions. Reason - Always excellent. One problem - 22 miles trip , easy on A1 ,worth it . All of the staff are superb and the food quality and presentation never fails to impress . The restaurant is spotlessly clean and very pleasant . IJM

Stopped here last night for a meal as not a fan of maccys or burger king after driving for 2 hours Never been before and would highly recommend the food was outstanding and great service and very clean even have a mini hoover to clean up after people leave

Such a lovely meal at Ashiana! We stopped here on our way from Scotland to London, and were blown away. The people could not have been nicer, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the samosas to the dal to the Saag Paneer (a personal favorite) was delicious. The atmosphere is really nice. The whole experience was just great. We’ll be back!

Amazing restaurant with top quality food and service. My third visit and not a single issue so far. By far the best restaurant in the area and definitely worth a diversion for. Special thanks to Ayman (our waiter) who ensured we had authentic desi cuisine and for his hospitality!

Asked for a curry between us and a rice, also a garlic nan bread. There was no garlic in the bread, they sent us another nan. Still no garlic in the nan, personally I won't order another bread f4om here.

Went last night for my birthday, which was our first visit. Firstly the atmosphere and decor is really nice. The service was great and the food was so nice. There was 4 adults and my 10 year old daughter. We all had something different and all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My fussy daughter absolutely loved her chicken nuggets and chips, thank you Ashiana, an Indian where we can take our daughter with us. My husband and daughter had taken birthday cake which the staff put the candles on and brought out singing Happy Birthday!! 😊 The night was topped off when the manager (I presume) bought me over a little gift! Thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Best Indian food experience I’ve had in the UK, food is amazing and staff is experienced and friendly!

I live locally and have been visiting the ashianna since it opened. I would say my recent experiences have been disappointing compared to previous visits/years. The food is still very good in the main, the atmosphere and decor is beautiful but I feel the prices have increased more than most other venues. We have also been very rushed the last couple of occasions. Our last meal, we were asked to vacate the table only an hour and a half from sitting down which meant we had 10 minutes left. We were then asked if we wanted desserts! We were asked to sit in the covered outside area. This area is nice but was pretty chilly and we had 2 x 80 year olds with us and a guest who is on chemotherapy. We could not stay there long. If a table is required within a period of time, I understand but it makes sense to let us know at the time of booking. The management and staff are lovely people and I want this business to continue being the success it has been and the great venue to visit that it has been, but I feel it is not delivering as it used to. The prices have always been higher than other restaurants locally but the gap has increased more and I don't think the cost is as justified as it once was

Food was good, disappointed perhaps because of all the other reviews. If I was passing i would come back but won't go out of my way to come here.

The food is always amazing. Can’t fault it but we were asked to leave because our table was needed. We felt rushed throughout. It was a birthday meal and this spoilt the evening. Very disappointing.

Came here for my Wife’s birthday for the first time even though we only live 10 minutes away and was very impressed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing with plenty to choose from. I would definitely recommend to others and will be returning hopefully very soon.

Been meaning to write a review for a long time. Just ordered a take away and remembered I must leave one! Me and my partner Milo absolutely love visiting the restaurant and ordering take out. I cannot shout louder about this place. Incredible food and the service is outstanding. Sai is the loveliest guy and we look forward to seeing him. If you haven’t been already then this is your push to go! You will not be disappointed.

Don’t pass this place by. Stop and eat! An absolute gem of a restaurant. The food was awesome made even better by the welcoming hospitality of the lovely staff. A wonderful menu with lots of authentic choices, in nice surroundings. If you live near this place or are just passing through then definitely take the time to stop and eat here. You will not regret it!

To paraphrase Stars Wars episode IV (the first one 🤔)........ "This is not the review you're looking for!" I'm reviewing the restaurant, not the rooms! Venue 5☆. Very nice room. Airy, well appointed and attractive. Food 6☆. Another 'we're lucky in Newark' post. So many good Asian / Indian restaurants in Newark and Ashiana is right at the top with the others. Tikka massalla, shaslik, special mix massalla and bahari murgh. All excellent and decent portion sizes. Side orders all just as good. Service 4.5☆. Not problem with the actual service it just took a bit longer than expected. Part may be due to it being busy and that the food seemed to seem very fresh and 'clean'! Value 4.5☆. No problems with quality or portion sizes. But, it's not cheap! Will stop us going again. Overall, highly recommended 👌 👍.

An unimposing exterior set off an A1 roundabout... but glorious menu and stunning food quality. Mix in friendly and patient staff, and that's about it. It is not cheap but definitely not super expensive either .... you pay for truly exceptional quality. What a find!!!!!

I love the Ashiana i really do but a recent meal for 2 cost over £90!! No excessive ordering just 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 rice and a couple of naans and poppadoms! 2 beers and a coke. I was staggered.. im not saying the food wasn’t good because it was but £10 for a starter!! Eye watering! the chutneys and yogurt were very runny like they had been watered down too which is a gripe but Im not hating im just giving my opinion. Service was a little slow as it was the last time we visited.. the bill then for similar was about £72 .. 🤷🏼‍♀️

What a lovely restaurant. Lovely staff very friendly and the food was next level in taste and presentation. We live in wolverhampton and have pretty muched tried nearly every Indian restaurant around but thus place is really something special. Highly Recomend .Thankyou

We chose excellent dishes from the tempting array on the menu. The staff were very polite & the service was excellent. A well deserved 5 star review.

We were desperate to visit a good curry house in the area and settled on Ashiana. Sadly, we were so disappointed with our food. The starter and poppadoms were good but the curries were both awful. One tasted of absolutely nothing, no discernable spice or flavour, yet the other tasted only of salt. We politely raised this to a staff member who was lovely and quite understanding, but did suggest that people interpret tastes differently. This felt quite patronising, I've been to countless Indian restaurants all over the country and always loved the food and flavours. We tend to leave positive reviews of these on TripAdvisor and the only one we had cause to complain about was based on both service and that we were both very ill the next day. I think a better approach would be to listen to the multiple customers advising of bland dishes, rather than suggesting that the issue is with tastebuds (which work fine elsewhere) or ordering wrong (we ordered what we usually order). Perhaps Ashiana's curries are great but they simply got it wrong on this occasion. I accept that restaurants don't get it right 100% of the time, so it would be good to see a bit more humility and less defensiveness from the restaurant in that regard.

Overrated-curry not worth the awards . Honestly the only reason I gave it one star is because the service was good (and you cannot rate it any lower). The food was obviously prepared by someone who thought they knew Indian cooking but did not. The curries had no flavour and were just spice,the naan was too thick and sweet without any flavour and was overall very dry and chewy. We asked for dry fried chicken (not sweet) and got honey flavoured chicken. The biryani and onion bhaji was tasty, but something was wrong with the samosas-it had carrot and cabbage filling in it and did not taste like a samosa.

Excellent curries & sides. Our server recommended a delicious vegan curry for me which I really enjoyed. Definitely will visit again if we are nearby again! Very easy to access off main road.

Was really excited to try out this place. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. The staff were really kind and they even helped my baby settle by offering her a drink while we were waiting. We had a takeaway. Ordered 2 house specialty dishes and aloo gobi, along with naan and paratha. The breads were exceptional. However, the curries - I don't mean to be rude- were tasteless and bland. The sauces looked yummy but as we tucked in, we were disappointed. The pre cooked chicken cubes added to the curry sauce was tasteless and chewy. The lamb was not tender and both curries lacked flavour. Aloo gobi potato variety used were starchy and tasteless and the masala was bland overall. We were quite sad to be honest, because we hoped we found a new place to try out in our area to go and dine in next time but unfortunately won't be returning as the dishes are expensive but not yummy. We don't mind paying that amount if the food is on point. Sadly, for now, this place is not for us. Thanks for the yummy naan and hospitality.
