We visited in the first week of opening so there was still a sense of things settling down but our tuna mayo rolls and cakes were delicious and there is a very good gluten free offer. Mrs B has a clear vision of what she wants to create, a modern take on a traditional tea room good food catering for all tastes and needs at the heart of it. Good luck to her

Coffee was fine, but site was a bit dirty with used cups and debris left on tables for too long. Actually closes at 5:30…pls update your website!

Food was very good. The delivery guy saying you’re lucky you got food delivered this late when they close at 11 and we got a delivery at 10:30 was a bit unnecessary. If you don’t want to accept the order that’s fine but don’t accept it then complain

I felt it was quite an awkward place. You have to book in advance for afternoon tea when in reality it was dry, cheap bread with probably aldi ham in the middle and dry cakes. Upon arrival the owner was leaning over the counter playing on her phone. No customer service. Once the food was placed in front of us I noticed that a hair was in one of the scones. She then replaced it with a small shop bought one. The other scone was very hard and dry. The cups were dirty and we had no spoons. The milk was a little off as if it had been sat on the table all day. Overall not a great experience. I think the whole afternoon tea was chucked together onto a cake stand, put on top of sticky tables, costing a couple of quid but charging people so much more. The whole experience was very awkward and it didn't feel very welcoming in there at all which is sad because it's not the service you would expect from a small local coffee shop. Costa provides a better experience!

After visiting Greegs, I felt that I have to inform you of our findings with great concern. On entry we noticed that all tables outside, and then entering inside were covered with food residue, paper, crumps, paper napkins bottles etc. I managed to find a somewhat clearer table to sit at and waited for my husband to join me to sit to eat our lunch at 13.30. After having to wipe the table myself and looking around the cafe, that’s when we noticed the dirty carnage around everywhere, on tables and the floors to your cafe. Wow I thought this is absolutely filthy. Never in my life of visiting Greggs cafe have we ever come across such absolute filth and mess. I took photos of this carnage. I will point out that at this time it was not busy at all, so I took it upon myself to go and talk to one of the 3 staff members that were working in your store. 1 young female and 2 males with glasses. I questioned the young female as to why the store was in such a filthy mess why tables inside and out the floor was not swept and everything was not cleaned and cleared after all this is where people come to eat there lunch. I was told by her I know it’s dirty!! That’s it. I told her that this is not acceptable if the state of the cafe is in such filth what on earth is going on out back in the food prep zone. I pointed out to her that I would be making an official complaint the following day and also I will be contacting the Environmental heath dept as this is a major issue for public health. Also there after there was no attempt of any cleaning going on, the surroundings are a total health hazard and it is absolutely not good enough or acceptable. Nothing followed by any of the staff members to even try and put this right in fact they all just stood behind the counter doing absolutely nothing not even filling up with any food as the counters which were quite empty. What on earth is going on in this Cafe. Where is the Manger in all this. They all need sacking for potentially putting the public’s heath at risk. I have now sent my complaint to the CEO and head office now, and have suggested that they should make an unannounced visit to this cafe to see this filthy mess and also read all reviews that we the Customers have left on Tripadvisor and read all the comments that people are leaving for them. Reply: Greegs is now dealing with the matter. Well let’s hope so!!

Not tidy, the chips was greasy and some were mouldy and the meat was asked to be crispy but came out soft

There are a lot of take aways in Melton this is my personal favourite Quick friendly service and good food.

The food is great, but I was greatly disappointed on arrival. Firstly parking is a nightmare (seems to be a trait for Dominos to set up in restricted parking areas.) So after struggling to find a parking spot I got inside and was told they DONT TAKE CASH (no reason given). Sorry but if you dont take cash why not say online OR put a sign up on the door so I dont waste time looking for somewhere to park and I can go elsewhere.

El peor McDonalds que he tenido. No hay nada de rápido. El restaurante estaba sucio - mesas no limpias, patatas fritas aplastadas en el suelo, basura debajo de las mesas. No hay papel para recibos en máquinas de pedido de pantalla. Las hamburguesas llegaron frías, las enviaron de vuelta y los reemplazos también estaban fríos. Té sin leche ofrecida. Entrevista al gerente en la esquina sin privacidad para el solicitante. Era un placer con los abuelos después de reunirse en melton, los abuelos disgustados, así que no se quedaron, pero sacaron un sándwich de Sainsburys.
