The best restaurants in Abbey Lincoln East Midlands

Our order was late, it took an hour and a half to arrive despite first saying it would take 30 minutes, by the time it arrived all the food was cold.

Had a lovely lunch at the Adam and Eve. Lovely food, very reasonably priced and helpful and attentive staff. Great pub atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

Fabulous amazing atmosphere cakes drinks food hot and cold it can get very busy not enough seating inside but seating outside as well staff excellent a little pricey but fabulous food drinks excellent staff the lady with blonde hair she is amazing friendly all the staff deserve massive credit been here many times would definitely recommend

OK so my partner and I came here a few weeks back for the first time and just had a coffee. Cant fault this at all, staff were lovely and the coffee was great and the place is really clean and nicely decorated. So we went back this week and thought we'd go here for a date lunch as we love Italian food and wine. The menu options were not great to be honest. We were expecting lovely homemade Italian bistro food but it was mainly French, omelets and sweet dishes. There were no lovely Italian breads, oils or olives even. The food we did ask for we were told was not available so we thought OK, let's just have fries and a drink. Couldn't believe it, it was so quiet and it was lunch time, only to be told there were no chips. Really disappointed, we really wanted to like this place as the coffee was awesome but the food was just a major let down unfortunately.

I tried to call to place an order for a delicious chicken chow mein but the person on the phone was not responding and just hanging up. I felt mentally harassed because I couldn't get my chow mein. I heavily suggest you fire whoever was running the phone from 7-10 o'clock on the 7/2/25

Fabulous lunch, service, food! I had arranged lunch for 7 Fabulous ladies, from start to finish was seamless.. Liason with chef/staff ref menu choices.. Some of the highest standard food produced! Sensational .. Ladies had a fabulous say.. Highly recommend this establishment.. I shall be returning with more family & friends x

Good pub slightly off the beaten track but obviously popular. Popped in for drinks on a Saturday evening and was perfectly satisfied with beer, service and ambiance. There was a band on which made it a little bit crushed at the bar but we still got served quickly and efficiently.

Excellent breakfast made with quality ingredients. Definitely going back again. The lunch menu looks good too, plenty of choice.

The most stunning freshly made cannoli I’ve ever eaten! Service was absolutely impeccable. I popped in after seeing cannoli mentioned in the window, there weren’t any in the display case so I was about to leave disappointed when the server asked what I would like, I said cannoli but there weren’t any, to be told how many would I like? They make them fresh throughout the day and we’re making another batch right then and could make some exactly how I’d like them! I ordered two and while k waited the gentleman gave me a little bit of another dessert they had which was divine (yes I did take some home). I had just eaten lunch so I was kicking myself as they had an amazing array of arancini, pizza slabs and cured meats available for savoury tastes. They even had a vegan arancini which I was very impressed by! While I was there several Italian construction workers visited for their takeaway lunch, so it is obviously popular with the local community and I can see why. I can’t wait to go back and have a proper lunch there!

Visited here to eat two Fridays ago on a recommendation but sadly our experience wasn’t a good one… on arrival at around 14..45 there was a short queue but service was slow. By the time we got to the counter we were initially ignored by the server so I said hello and I tried to give our food order but we were told the kitchen had already closed. I asked what time the kitchen shut and was told 3 o’clock, I asked what time it was now and didn’t get a reply. Disappointed and bewildered because Google states they are open until 22.00 and the window advertises “All day breakfast”, I ordered a latte and a cappuccino and paid by card, the receipt timestamp said 14.56. We then waited until 16.12 for our coffees and then a few moments later food came out to the people sitting at the table next to us- they had been just ahead of us in the queue when we arrived. The only reason this review is not 1 star is because the coffee was decent

I've been here a couple of times and everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. :)
