Serving Ale, Since 1701 This is my favourite pub in Lincoln, a thriving social venue and meeting point for over 300 years. A variety of different food as well as drinks ranging from ales to different lagers. Very friendly bar staff also. A stone throw from the Cathedral on top of lindum hill. Be sure to visit when in Lincoln. 🍻

Popped in after Lincoln beerfest for a pint of Castle Rock, but on arrival sighted my favourite: Jaipur on tap. Beautiful. Best pint of the day.

Mediocre at best. I ordered the tuna and cheese toastie, hoping for the thick-cut granary bread (as the menu described) but unfortunately, it didn't match the description (was thin dry brown bread) Additionally, the absence of salad/garnish at 1 pm was not great (they’d ran out). The quality of food for other members of our group was also underwhelming. The ladies' restroom could use some improvement in cleanliness, as it had an unpleasant odour. The staff seemed disengaged, which made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Another thing to note there is also no children’s menu.

Great atmosphere and good beer, plenty of parking too.... +Follow them on their socials as they have a good selection of live music there too

One of the oldest pubs in the country. Located on Lindum his in the shadow of Lincoln Cathedral. Friendly service. A good choice of well kept beer. Car Park at rear. Pool table. Beer garden. Occasional live music. Quiz night on Sunday.

Hidden gem if you’re by the Cathedral. It’s a proper local pub with a decent selection of beer and ale (£4.50 for Prava and Landlord). They also have pool for £1 and heaters outside.

One of Lincolns Finest. Good old fashioned pub grub, almost takes it back to the basket meals. Delicious in every way. Drinks are always of high quality with clean lines and glasses. Lounge with games for entertainment aswell is always a winner whenever we are in 👍👍

Went into the Adam and Eve for a quick drink, it's local to me. We had a nice quiet drink. Wine was good. Friendly atmosphere.

During the rugby six nations I reserved a table, the staff were lovely and helpful, the food I ordered over the few weeks was tasty and the ale was good quality thumbs up from me 👍👍👍

A really good old fashioned friendly pub. With real coal fire 🔥 giving it a good warm cosy atmosphere. Quiz night on a Sunday evening is popular.

We ate here after looking around Lincoln city centre, The location is not far from the Cathedral and has its own parking. They welcome dogs providing they are well behaved, clean and they don't sit on the furniture. The staff where really friendly and helpful and the restaurant / bar is very clean and well maintained. The food menu was not very big when it comes to choice, but what was on there was delicious and fairly priced as well. Sadly I never took any photos, as I was to hungry but I would defiantly will be visiting again and I will add photos.

I went as it is reputedly the oldest tavern in Lincoln with a good selection of beers and food reasonably priced. The pub is ok but i was disappointed with the service: one lady was pleasant and attentive but the other 2 didn't seem interested in providing good service. I went early evening and it was very quiet, as I wanted to check the pub to have dinner a bit later. In view of the service I finished my drink, paid and didn't come back.

Fantastic little pub we've meant to visit so many times. Great beers on tap, would thoroughly recommend.

First time visiting and enjoyed it, there was a quiz night on so fairly loud and busy inside. Outside seating was available with wall mounted heaters.

If you swear and belch loudly this is the place for you . Friendly staff and good beer

Bar staff very friendly. Four of us had food which was very good . Whole experience of the Adam & Eve was very good.

Came in to play darts but there's a table and chairs right in the alcove. Surely it's best to keep empty so people can play. Just a thought, spoilt an otherwise visit.

Great pub a game of pool and a Sunday quiz, and dog friendly. Perfect.👍

Great little stop off on the way back down from steep hill the not so steep way! 3 great real ales on tap and a very friendly reception! Seating couldn't be more comprehensive Lovely soft settees in the lounge for smart wear and tiled floor with stools for sports or dog walkers

Always quiet and civilised. Great food, great service and a £1 per game pool table in the back room. What's not to like? We had brie, bacon and cranberry toasties and upgraded to chips for £1. Thick bacon, generous portions - we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! It's one of those pubs that you overlook, but it's not far from the very centr of Lincoln and is definitely worth the short walk!

Not bad..decent beer selection, friendly staff. Pretty quiet as it's a little out of the way. I will be back :)

Its years since ive been in, but a nice pub

Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of food but we ordered a toast and sandwich and were very good, plus fried fries were really good, golden, fried very well and oil it was fresh I suppose. Recommended 👍🏻

Not bad, but poor beer and beer choice for a pub listed in the Good Beer Guide. I had a very poor pint of Tim Taylor Landlord, and there was no buzz or atmosphere.

Situated at the back side of the cathedral (rather than on Steep Hill) we made a specific visit as it mentioned real/cask ales. The pub was clean with a lovely atmosphere. They have obviously made an effort to create an outside space, which although small was a great afternoon suntrap. The delicious Harvest Gold didn't disappoint!

Friendly clean nice beer garden

Situated just on the outskirts of the cathedral. We had booked a table but turned up 1 hour early, which was not a problem. Dogs are welcomed as well. The staff are friendly and relaxed with all the covid protocols in place.The menu had all the traditional pub meals, burger and chips, cod and chips, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and side orders. The portions of the meals are very good and the prices are very reasonable. Would visit again.

First meal out since all the lockdowns, booked a table here, no fuss, good selection of beers and ciders, food was very good, I had the cheese and bacon burger with fries. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Favourite pub in Lincoln. They also hosted my brothers wake and it was perfect. Highly recommended a visit.

Really great food and friendly staff. I had a burger and beer and I was very satisfied. I recommend you to go and sit on the outdoor tables if the weather is fine.

Very friendly. Good selection of drinks. Didn't try food so can't comment. The only thing is the exit from the car park onto Lindum Road, a bit scary as it's on the bend but not the pubs fault.

Absolutely beautiful, cosey pub. Friendly staff but not too friendly (in the good way) and dog friendly to the point where we can have them off lead as long as we have them close by and under control. Always a good atmosphere wether busy or quiet and warm inviting atmosphere. Only con is car park is a bit small but that can't be helped
