The best restaurants in Whaley Bridge High Peak East Midlands

We just turned up and they fitted us in on a very busy Friday night. Food was very nice, and the service was good.

This is a lovely dog friendly pub offering drinks and crisps. If you want food you can order from the village kitchen across the road and they will deliver to the pub. Really friendly bar staff

Had one of the best curries I have ever had, I ordered the Nepalese chicken the chicken was fantastic and plenty of it and the sauce was amazing

excellent food as always, delivered on time and hot tasty food.

Ordered the takeaway which was aiming to arrive at 7pm, no delivery by 7:20pm in which they said they just left and the delivery, driver rang saying if we were in a different village…8pm he arrived with the pizzas which were tepid yet lovely. A lot of lying and slow service (1hr late!) for a £2.50 delivery for a 3 minute drive!! If you want to be messed around come here but the foods good.

Sadly closed. Used to be very good in it's previous premises but never seemed to get upto speed in new location. Will be missed.

Excellent food hot fresh and value for money and great service never had a bad meal. Some people have called it but they either have no taste buds or trying spoil things for a business shouldn’t be allowed

Waited over an hour for food, when it eventually arrived it was over cooked and tasteless. Not a friendly atmosphere for a Country Pub.

Wanted to try here for lunch on Sunday. Beer was the best thing, unhurried service. Pretty mean veg portions, not very tasty. Good location but the room was cold and no-one seemed to know how to light the fire. There are better places to eat in the area.

2 of us had the dinner time £5 deal. Choice of about 5 dishes with either chips or rice. Plenty of food. Super tasty. Very impressed - will definitely go back.

They didn't have half of the ingredients and the only enjoyable part of the meal was joking that the ribs were human However we did only pay £8 each
