I have been a few times. Best decaf coffee I have ever tasted. Beautifully presented. We booked a table for lunch in July. Lovely menu choices. Looking forward to it,

The bread is stunning and the cakes are gorgeous. We always get a small plait wrap, rolls and a loaf. I can recommend the lunchtime rolls & they do a lunch box for children. So in summer holidays, treat the kids to a sandwich, shaped iced biscuit (the butterflies look nice). I can highly recommend this bakery

Excellent chippy in the town centre. Called in after walking in the valley. I had a lovely large cod only £5.50 and a small chips £2.00 which was actually a large portion. The fish was large with lovely white flesh and a very good thin crispy batter. Well worth the money. Chips were fine but had better elsewhere but still good, I sat on a bench and really enjoyed my lunch. Staff in the shop very friendly especially the guy with the tattoos.

Great place and friendly, helpful staff. Such a shame they don't get more support.

Went into Shaws yesterday morning for a pie. As I had dropped off my car at the local garage and wanted something warm. I had a curry pasty and whilst it was nice I was shocked at the price of £3.10. I could have said no but I was hungry. I then looked up the price board and then became even more shocked at prices for a warm meat and potato at £3.70. Will not be going there again!

As grandparents we were here with 2 small children, Staff were very friendly, the food excellent & good value too. Everything was exceptional. Recommended!

Hate leaving bad reviews but this pub is something else… Great location and lovely building/beer garden. Service was terrible - staff were super rude and charged us for napkins for bringing our own birthday cake to have in the beer garden. For context, there were 20 of us all buying drinks and also buying cakes, sat outside, what’s the problem?) On top of that, the Guinness was absolutely awful and served in a dirty glass..! Really hope this was a one off experience but I was pretty shocked to be honest!
