Excellent chippy , fish cooked fresh, staff were friendly and efficient, and both the fish and chips tasted great. The prices were unbelievable too, well worth a visit

The bread is stunning and the cakes are gorgeous. We always get a small plait wrap, rolls and a loaf. I can recommend the lunchtime rolls & they do a lunch box for children. So in summer holidays, treat the kids to a sandwich, shaped iced biscuit (the butterflies look nice). I can highly recommend this bakery

I have been a few times. Best decaf coffee I have ever tasted. Beautifully presented. We booked a table for lunch in July. Lovely menu choices. Looking forward to it,

Unbelievable food! We had lunch there today and it was absolutely delicious. So so good had the best focaccia ever, even better that what you get at some places in Italy! Their fresh pasta is really good and then had some amazing chicken. Lovely wine too, very good quality. The staff is really lovely and very friendly. Definitely recommend going there! I’m now obsessed with it and can’t wait to go back already.

Had our annual visit to New Mills for the bonfire but mainly for this chippy! Lovely service, great food. Just what you need on a cold night. Always busy but worth the wait

I do come in here often but on this occasion, i dropped in on my own. Which is a first for me because I'm quite shy. Ended up chatting to a lovely couple for an hour. The place is nice and intimate and definitely a place where you can go in alone and meet new friends. Each time i have been in, everyone is inclusive and friendly. Still my favourite beer stop in New Mills.

Found this hidden gem towards the end of a ten mile walk. Only had a pint so did not try the food. Nice old traditional pub with plenty of in and outdoor seating. Worth seeking out

Excellent pub. All the food was wonderful, the home made chips the best I’ve had for years. The landlord was just as a landlord should be, welcoming and friendly. The pub had a great atmosphere and had been sensitively renovated. Would definitely recommend.

Great Food, even better people. We were here for a company evening out. Everything genuine sicilian. They have a wide selection of wines, brews and Cocktails. I will be dreaming about the food.

yes yes wot a bangin place. Needed some scran and this is the place to go. Yes it is obviously the cheapest quality that you can get but being on universal credit I am strapped for cash so I have to visit these places. There is nowhere else I can get a pack of cigs and a breakfast for a tenner so this is the shizzle. Most people won’t feed this food to their dog but I haven’t got much dollar so this place deserves a medal. It makes a nice treat so I don’t have to visit the food bank and I get to be waited on like a king for under a tenner! 8/10

The price is hard to justify; the pastry was ok but wasn't all butter shortening. As for the mincemeat filling, the pie contained about a teaspoonful. My last visit ....

As grandparents we were here with 2 small children, Staff were very friendly, the food excellent & good value too. Everything was exceptional. Recommended!

Friendly pub, but the pint of unicorn was far from the best I've had.

Good pub food at a good price ,the service was good and the dog was made welcome with a treat,. On a cold winters day the lovely log fire was a nice welcome .
