Great place and friendly, helpful staff. Such a shame they don't get more support.

1st ever visit. It was my niece's surprise 30th party. Really enjoyed it. The staff were all lovely and friendly.

I’d have given five stars but for the fact I got a parking ticket from jungle monkey when I was actually in chalkers snooker club and parked properly in a space in there car park? Do you guys have a machine to enter your veichle reg or is it pot luck if you get a parking ticket or not from there, this was over 3years ago and only just chasing me for it now. Any help from you guys at chalkers would be amazing as I’m disputing this as I’ve lived round new mills all my life and never had any issues parking here

If I could give zero I would. These people shouldn’t be working with the general public. Vile.

Called in as part of the Mild Challenge and was glad we did. The beer was good,and it's years since I've had a game of pool.🎱

Good choices of what to do, some arcade machines, good food and overall good experience. However, it was a bit dated.

Granddaughters birthday party. Good venue.

We had a childrens party at Chalkers and everything was perfect, the room was beautiful, lovely big space for the kids to run around in and a bar for the adults. Everyone at Chalkers were fab, thank you all for a great time!

Went to a private function here and was impressed by the venue. The room was great, upstairs was another bar, and comfy chairs to chill out. Plenty of parking on site too. Would recommend

Good value for snooker. Staff helpful and friendly. Snooker area and bar area are probably in need of a refurb perhaps.

My best friend had her wedding reception here, I was a bridesmaid who organised the venue. I couldn't have chosen a better place or wished for a better team of staff. Bee and Louise were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, even adding their own touches and advice. Bee was very creative in making me a gorgeous balloon arch and the welcome sign she did was amazing, Louise also working hard on the tables and the room itself. Thank you so much, anybody who picks Chalkers for any event you will be welcomed with professional, hardworking lovely team of staff. Thank you so so much to all of you and see you all again soon. Great venue for the 70th party we attended. Lovely bar staff. We were parked in our camper at the marina, only minutes walk away, so ideal. Great place, good value drinks, great beer.

I have visited chalkers on many occasions and have always had a pleasant experience there. All staff are friendly and well mannered. All the work that has been put into turning the pub into what it is now is incredible. Can not fault the new owners or any of the staff there. Looking forward to plenty more visits! Could not fault the place 😊 Massive thank you to the chalkers family.

Went in with my daughter to meet friends, we both had masks on a girl/barmaid came to have us sign in then my daughter was questioned on her age, me baffled asked why as she's 13 and looks it.. to be told she needs to wear a mask while in there??!! Very aware of the social distancing rules and was already following them. weird.

Tables recently re-clothed and the bar has had a refurbishment also. Was a bit nippy in the middle of February but all round, a good place to knock about a few balls

Popped in here with a mate on a random one last week. The staff were really friendly and the snooker table we had was decent, just been re-clothed. They said they'd just took it over so there was a bit of work going on at the front door, but it's probably finished now. Their function room looked pretty modern as well. Will defo visit again as they had a lot of tables and we can never get on one in Buxton.

Very nice place! Loved playing pool with my mum. There was a Ps4 and I was working fine! I recommend it for a chilling afternoon😅

New owners who gave worked had to rebuild this business. Great facilities, local real ale on tap with other beer and lager options. Pool and snooker available, good fun tin room and off road parking. Staff and owners were awesome.

Needs a good tidy up but nice staff and the american pool table was a good table

Nice & friendly place to hold a family party.

The only venue in New Mills for snooker, pool and watching sports. They have sky and BT sport's. Helpful and friendly staff, especially Josh (he's a good egg). Freehouse with great prices, happy hour week days between three and seven. They have teams in local pool, darts and quiz leagues. Free booking for events such as birthdays, weddings and funerals.

Friendly place with lots of tables

Lots of tables to play on however some of them need a bit of work. It's a good place to practice your snooker at a reasonable price.
