So relaxing...best hidden coffee shop in the Arndale

Picked up takeaway coffees and it's a lovely place. Will be going to eat in at some point for sure.

Always friendly staff which is most important but also absolutely fantastic coffee. Anyone still going to the big chain one round the corner, given Twig a try, it's amazing coffee. Update, still the best coffee in town 😋

The best hot chocolate & coffee in Glossop. The seasonal drinks at Easter, in summer & at Christmas are also delicious. I look forward to them every year.

Lovely coffee. Tasty toasties on flat breads. Good varied choice of fillings. Good value. Small coffee shop in Station. Rustic chairs, tables . Comfortable , non elaborate. Really nice place to grab a sandwich. There are no toilets but toilet in the station (you have to ask Station staff to let you in). There are public toilets on the Market about 5 minutes away and in Customer toilets in M & S Food near Wetherspoons. (5 minutes away approx).

Nice coffee but the takeaway cups leak everywhere

Fantastic coffee and selection of foods! Tried the 'Golden latte' which was peculiar to taste at first but otherwise very lovely, hearty and warming. Also had a filled ciabatta which was beautiful warmed up. Good value for what you get. Friendly atomsphere and speedy service. This is room to sit in but it does get full quite fast! No toilet on site but one in the station just up from the shop. Will definitely visit again!

This is an excellent Coffee shop. Situated on my local train station it serves really good coffee. The food is fresh and the cakes and bakery products are excellent

The staff are always kind and helpful. As a coffee snob, I think their coffee is amazing. The cake selection is really good covering vegan and vegetarian options. When you don't want a coffee they have a good range of none coffee drinks, including super food lattes. My favourite being turmeric and butterfly pea. It's very kid friendly, including having options for kids, and making sure any hot drinks are brewed that bit cooler. It's a great atmosphere, with lovely decor.

Went in there 20 mins before closing to get a couple of take away coffees and food. The young lady who served us had the most miserable face and quite honestly made us feel very unwelcome. Not sure if she had had a bad day! I felt like an absolute inconvenience to her. I’ve visited here a couple of times in the past and the staff have been lovely so I’m not going to let it put me off as the coffee there is fantastic. It wasn’t just me though as a young chap followed us in and she was just as miserable to him!!

I’ve never had a bad drink at Twig. It’s nice to come into the store and see employees chatting away and getting along, but also being greeted with a big smile. Staff are always up for a good chat which always makes my day start off great. Amazing service and the drinks are better and cheaper than Starbucks and Costa 👏🏻👏🏻 So so good

I love this shop. The coffee is the best in Glossop by far, the staff are always really polite and friendly, and the frappes are just HEAVEN. I am a very loyal customer and go in there a couple times a week, and I have never had a bad experience. Keep up the good work! <3

An absolute gem of a coffee shop situated within Glossop train station, absolutely wonderful staff and beautiful hand crafted drinks and food. Best bit is they allow dogs in too, will definitely be going back for a brew and puppy snuggles 😍

As an American, who has been to glossop 2 separate times now. I love twig. 👏 I think it’s such a cute shop and has the best matcha.

On the day we passed through, this was the only place open, but it would surely have been our first choice if there had been other options. Friendly, welcoming, nice atmosphere. Good food, cakes and coffee.

Great place to have a hot drink and a bite to eat. Always friendly staff and great service. Cakes are great and lots of vegan options too. I always have a hot chocolate as being vegan it's hard to find a really good one. You can choose lots of different syrups to go in too. 10/10 always

I am visiting Glossop and found this lovely little artisan cafe in the railway station while waiting for someone to arrive by train. Friendly welcome and good customer service with my drink brought to the table - and such a lovely way to serve up a cup of tea! The shortbread was light and an ideal snack. Good value compared to the other big name High St brands in the town - glad I found here and would recommend as it is not just for commuters.

The coffee is actually really good, and they have a reasonable selection of enjoyable food to cover more than one dietary requirement. They have a really big selection of vegan cakes, and gultan free biscuits. The latte art done by the staff is wonderful. And the staff are always absolutely lovely and happy to help if you need it. They also have super food lattes that are absolutely wonderful.

This is a review of the Hadfield branch. We got a really warm welcome from the friendly staff. There was lots of choice of drinks and we enjoyed our savoury snacks too. Price was good for the quality. Great to have a different option from the usual chains.

Best hot chocolate going!! I go there without a fail every morning before work and grab myself a hot chocolate....this hot chocolate is something else! It tastes better than costa and all these coffee shops going...i defo would recomend getting the hot chocolate! Their paninis are also very tasty...everything about this place is another level! Defo recommebd you all to try it. I go there every morning and as soon as i walk in the staff know what am having aha they say "having your regular". Also the prices are vwry friensly cheaper than any of them coffee shops out there Overall the staff are very friendly and very nice i rate this place 10/10 😊

Nipped in for a cuppa to escape the rain and saw some amazing cakes so had try of course. All covid measures in place felt really safe when we visited. Toilet on the ground floor if needed.

Twig are the best coffee place in central Glossop. They are prompt, friendly and their coffee is especially good if you, like I, need a robust blend to boot yourself awake in the morning. Unfortunately, their premises is on the small side, thus understandably full much of the time.

Had a vanilla latte best coffee I've ever had.

We were stood inside Twig for about 10 minutes waiting for the family in front to order. Once we got the the front of the queue the server told us they were closed... We said we had been waiting for ten minutes and all she said was sorry we closed at 3. We had been waiting since before 3. We don’t think that it is fair we were made wait to then be told the cafe was closed. No one was behind us, it would not have taken much to make us a coffee.

I actually love going to Twig Coffee a lot, because the coffee is actually really nice. I'm really fussy over coffee, but the quality is really there. The staff are always nice and friendly. And the decor gets nicer and nicer all the time. They're always improving the place and make it even nicer.

Trains to Manchester from Glossop are approx. every half an hour. Just enough time to order a delicious coffee from Twig, it is probably too hot to sit in and drink it, so take it on the train. It will keep you going to Manchester.

First visit was awesome, really well made latte, good flavour and perfectly textured milk. Went back next day and standard wasn't quite as good but still drinkable. Also slightly confused by the cortado which came in same size cup as a latte so was essentially a single shot latte.

coffee is usually good but today served by a new member of staff who did not know what he was doing once outside tasted it it was awful could not even drink it so threw it away did not have time to go back and complain will not be going back

Best coffee in Glossop, beats the bigger chains hands down on product quality and the shop itself.

Coming from Melbourne we haven't had good flat whites in Germany or France or the UK until today - Twig does a great flat white :-)

Looking for coffee and cake in Glossop in mid afternoon. Excellent location in the railway station. Interesting decor with local features. Good selection of drinks and cakes. My mocha was excellent as was the muffin. The service was also good. My only complaint was that it was a bit pricey.

I love that this independent community cafe is in Glossup Station so much better than the chains. The coffee tastes lovely and there is a good selection of cakes and sandwiches.
