What an excellent place to eat! Fantastic vegan and veggie food, very well priced and a fantastic range to choose from. It's only small but it turns out excellent meals and the owner and staff are second to none. Please give this place a try you will not regret it! Vegan dahl is outstanding. I've literally eaten in hundreds of vegan restaurants all over the country and this little place is up there with the best!

Visited this charming bar/restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. The lovely staff were so friendly and accommodating and managed to squeeze us in at very short notice. The fact that the place was nearly full by 1230 on a Sunday says it all really. We both had a lovely Sunday roast. And the fact that it is doggie friendly was a real bonus for us.

A very welcoming small cafe with a big range of excellent appetising options. We separately sampled very tasty bacon and sausage cobs with equally good coffees. We saw the range of sandwiches and paninis, soups, and cakes available too. All these are home made in house. The locals clearly know it is the best around as it was busy with take aways too. We are tourists and will certainly come again when we are next in the area

Despite eating out a few times a week I dont do many reviews - but i just had to tonight. Sensational food, magnificent service, great value and a lovely atmosphere to stop us worrying about the snow outside and how our two hour drive home tomorrow may pan out. Would recommend anyone coming to Buxton for a break to call into this family run (presumably) place. Blinking superb in every respect. Wish it was on my doorstep. Thank you Ali & Grace for your great service.

It was such a treat to go out for lunch and to not have to ask a hundred questions about ingredients and how the food is prepared. Delicious lunch for my daughter and I. Fabulous ambience and tasty food, but best of all 100% gluten free. Paradise!

Came across by accident while staying overnight in Buxton. Lunch was superb - great service and excellent food at a good price. Seeing it opened at 8 am we can back the following morning for breakfast and we're equally impressed. Really can't recommend this place more

In Buxton as hungry tourists on a rainy day looking for something tasty to take away. Came upon Pig and Pepper which is a bakery that does really great coffee and wonderful sweet and savoury baked goods. We chose a broccoli and cheese focaccia, a flaky Parmesan and red pepper savoury, a proper Scandinavian-style cinnamon bun, and a pecan topped orange polenta cake. Every one of these items was excellent like the highest quality home baking. Lady who served us was super friendly and helpful. Tiny premises filled with nice things!

Fab little cafe with great food and beer - homemade cauliflower soup was superb and the small plate beetroot hummus and mushroom pate were delicious great attentive service.

Lovely little place with inside and outside tables, next to shop in quiet old arcade opposite the Opera House. Superior food with a local flourish, and Buxton Pudding Emporium shop next door run by same people. Not fast food, quality comes with care and attention which takes time, so don't rush, enjoy the flavours and the quiet location.
