We absolutely love this place and the desserts WOW!!! If you're looking for a treat this is a place to go. My family and I really love their desserts. Definitely a most!!

I went there because i had nothing to do on a saturday and the milkshake was amazing the service was even bettwr than the milkshake very friendly and made my milkshake fresh in under 5 mins amazing👍

We saw the "pride" shake advertised in the window and decided to try the desserts. 2 shakes, handmade to order, were absolutely delicious. 2 bradwell ice creams were also enjoyable. Best of all was the friendly staff who made the visit a real pleasure, and we all thought that the prices were very reasonable. Definitely going to head here again next time we're in Buxton.

Went in today and got a milkshake and some oreo cheesecake and both were amazing and the staff were really friendly, I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

I visited Marianne's dessert bar with my family whilst spending the day in Buxton a couple of weeks ago after never seeing anything like it before in Buxton. I tried the Raspberry Homemade Lemonade and it tasted incredible! My mother tried the Eton Mess Waffle and the presentation and flavour was much more than what we expected.We were thoroughly impressed! The staff were polite and the prices were great, with lots to chose from, we would definitely visit again.

Found this wonderful place today on a quick trip to Buxton. Lovely and clean when you go in, and a good, clear menu of what’s available. We all had the Oreo milkshake that was awesome, but I also had the cheesecake of the day, which today was Caramac. I have never had a nice cheesecake, it was delicious. Found out it was made by the lovely lady behind the counter. Would reccomend this place to anyone going near the area, just fantastic.

10 New RoadFabulous place very very friendly staff very accommodating to being invaded by a mini bus full of strangers who were travelling to Lake Windemere. Coffee and cakes delicious. Would deffo recommend thos place if you are in area. Thank you

Castleton RoadThere are many cafes in Hope to choose from, especially on a bank holiday but the best one has got to be the Courtyard Cafe. Tucked away a little off the main street, it's quiet allowing you to hear your conversations but the absolute best thing are the chips! The chip butties are amazing! The chips are crisp and properly sized! Looking around all food we saw looked really good. Staff were so lovely and clearly the local's favourite spot to come to. An excellent cafe to come to after a great walk from Hope. Can't wait to come back to Courtyard and eat more chips!

8A Hall BankLubens is always a lovely experience! We booked a table early in the evening prior to visiting the Opera House which is only about five minutes walk away. We've eaten there previously so were confident the food would be excellent! We weren't disappointed it was as good as ever. We both had a starter then had a vegi sharing platter which was very well presented and tasty. I finished off the meal with a lovely desert. We had a couple of beers and a bottle of wine and the whole thing was under £80 which, for the quality of the meal, we thought was very good value for money. The restaurant has a lovely look and feel and draws you in.
