Lunch takeaway ordered. £27 for two. Absolutely superb. Watched them make it. Very helpful chefs, offering advice on how to make proper sushi, when we asked. Fabulous lunch. Photo is one lunch portion

Really nice fresh sushi, the salmon platter was good value for money and the fried rice was the nest I've had in a long time. Only down side was the place was boiling hot, I don't know if the air-conditioning had broken or if it just didn't have it. But it did feel a little uncomfortable.

We visited here at the request of my daughter who said she'd like to try the restaurant. The food was very very good, the service excellent. Thank you to the staff who were so helpful in helping us choose the food. Very highly recommend.

Awesome sushi. Quick, friendly service with advice on quantities to order offered when we asked, Really nice ambience. Fantastic sushi. We ordered one of the set plates, augmented by several additional items, and the quantity and variety in the set plate was fantastic. The fish was so fresh, it was delicious. Who knew strawberries would work so well with sushi? Visit - you won't regret it.

A real gem of a place with excellent, friendly service and an exciting menu. Pixies is known for its cakes (which are excellent) but I actually prefer the savoury options, the cheese on toast is pretty amazing and if the Onion Bhaji burger is on then you must try it. Coffee is always good too.

There are many cafes in Hope to choose from, especially on a bank holiday but the best one has got to be the Courtyard Cafe. Tucked away a little off the main street, it's quiet allowing you to hear your conversations but the absolute best thing are the chips! The chip butties are amazing! The chips are crisp and properly sized! Looking around all food we saw looked really good. Staff were so lovely and clearly the local's favourite spot to come to. An excellent cafe to come to after a great walk from Hope. Can't wait to come back to Courtyard and eat more chips!
