The best restaurants in Market Harborough-Little Bowden Harborough East Midlands

My mother and I had a little shopping trip to MH and happened across Dim Sum Master as we’re walking around the market. I am practically a dumpling myself from how many I’ve eaten and my mother was new to the experience so we both agreed when ready this was going to be our lunch spot for the day - and boy were we happy with that choice!!!!! We had the dim sum platter for two and every single one was a wonderful concoction of flavour. Enhanced with soy sauce and vinegar and the BEST homemade chilli oil we thoroughly enjoyed every single mouthful and I’ve already told my husband and sister that they’re my dates for at least the next two visits :) You are a lovely couple who were so happy to help, advise and have a little chat. Your picture of the crispy pork belly will be dreamed about tonight! Thank you <3

Been here twice recently and both times had to walk out the place stinks of sweat (BO) absolutely vile smell

The bar is lovely however the food is a complete rip off,it is basically frozen processed food like that you can buy packets of for a pound from local freezer shops like iceland etc. I will go back but never to eat

I don't recommend the sheesh kebab. I got a terrible indigestion. My beverage and the main course were nice. Much better than the other similar restaurant down the road.

Really inconsistent opening hours... We were forced out an hour before closing because the bar staff wanted to go home, during a football game too so definitely not a pub to go to if you want to watch the football.

So slow! Really lovely food, and I understand comments before, they do make it all and it’s tasty but be prepared to wait 10-15 mins just to order at the bar. No real get up and go from the staff and that’s been the same every time I’ve been, regardless of time of day, weekday/weekend. Waited 7mins for a smoothie to be made after waiting 10mins to order today.

I attended recently with my class for a school trip. We were greeted with open arms (literally!) and Alice and her team were incredible. The children loved their time at the restaurant, and loved taking their own pizzas back to school even more! Thank you - we will be back!

Turned up for a last minute Sunday lunch. Superb meal, polite staff, great atmosphere! Excellent value for money , plus a great pint of Tiger (or two).

The food was lovely, but portion size to price i just didn't think it was enough. We ordered a curry between us which was around £22-£24 as it was a prawn curry but there were only 3 prawns in it.

The pate was very odd, Almost slimy. The baked camembert was very good.

delivered on a warm day but not expecting the pickle tray sauces to be hot too alongside hot salad and chewy poppadoms...! the chips were undercooked and the chicken in the tikka was dry. the Achari was VERY oily but the lamb was tender and flavour was good. Pilau rice was fine but overall very disappointed.
