At beer house they do beer and they do service. And they do both really, really well! Friendly and welcoming. It's well worth a visit, I'm convinced you'll appreciate it! No food served, but there's a touring fresh pizza van that you can order from one night a week. (I also recently attended a MHBN business networking event here and we were all very well looked after. Plus we had the opportunity to hear a little more from Jonty about the history of beer house - that's celebrating its 10th anniversary later this year!)

Good range of real ales and keg beers. The real ales I tried were in good condition. The pub is dog and human friendly. Only negative are the prices. Very expensive for a micro pub, and I have drunk in many, and compared to other pubs I normally drink in (Northampton). Was also the most expensive in Market Harborough that I tried. I don't drink keg craft beers, but those are crazy prices! There were only snacks available when I visited so I cannot comment on food.

Market Harborough doesn't have beer pubs so it is great to see the only one done so well. There is a big range and a decent beer fridge. It is a little pricey, more pricey than similar establishments across the county.

Great selection of beer, bitters, largers and ales. For those that prefer a wine or spirit, they do those too. Always a welcoming atmosphere, and the last Thursday of every month they do an open mike night. P.s. you can bring your own food

A great little micropub tucked away off a main road. A massive 20 keg lines and a can/bottle fridge with a wide variety of craft beers available.

Very first time been there and really enjoyed my visit. Feel very welcome. Very friendly local customers, bar guy was cool. Atmosphere was cool and friendly. Variety of craft beers for what I was there. They were serving choice of drinks and I enjoyed most of them. Plenty of seatings inside and outdoor. Hope will be back again when around.

Love this place. A great place to have a quiet beer and a chat with your mates without the noise of music blasting out at so you can't hear yourself think. Occasionally they have a live band or singer to lighten the mood. Always a great range of guest beers and ciders to try and there is a good fish and chip shop next door if you get hungry

Great little spot for craft beers

Really friendly bar serving a wide range of beers. There will be something to suit everyone's tastes here. Few tables outside but a bit cold for that today. Dog friendly too.

Love this place. For the beer and cider enthusiasts this place is the centre of the universe. Great ambiance, very helpful bar staff and a nice chippy just 30 paces away, this pub is wonderful.

Best place to go for a beer in Market Harborough. Relaxed atmosphere, just a really chilled down to earth pub, let alone some of the best beers if not the best you will find in the area. Incredibly friendly staff, props to Lorenzo and Ed who are very welcoming. Options to try the beers they have on offer. Measures of 1pt, 1/2, 1/3, 2/3. Great selection of 20 tap beers/ciders served at any one time and refreshed regularly. Plus a vast selection of bottled beers, spirits, bar snacks, you name it. Will be coming back here regularly on my visits to Market Harborough. We live 2 hours away and it’s well worth it! - Rob.

Lovely to sit outside and enjoy a drink with my daughter and son-in-law and baby Grandaughter. Mostly craft beers and wine. Some cider and I had a G&T. Friendly atmosphere.

Many beer options and reasonably priced, given the quality. Massive improvement after the renovation - a little background music between live performances wouldn’t go amiss.

My favourite place to go for no frills a beer. The best selection of beers and you can order pints, halves and third pints so you can try so many! Never disappointed.

Solid variety of cask and keg beers, from light sessionable kellers and lagers, right up to huge double IPA's and Souts. Knowledgeable team and a cosy atmosphere. A must visit for fans of the craft.

Really great selection of beers which frequently changes. I've sampled some incredible Polly's, DEYA, Verdant ales and many others. There is something for everyone and the atmosphere is always friendly. A real must for any ale fans.

The most boring bar ever beer good though

Excellent place for a drink. We came in as first-timers and felt very welcome, casual unfussy atmosphere with a huge beer menu that changes regularly, lagers, ciders, IPAs, there's something for everyone. Not really a food place so go to the chippy round the corner if you're hungry first. Will be our go-to for drinks in Market Harborough from now on.

A chance encounter due to train issues...had an hour so walked out of the station & Googled 'Craft Beer' - what a result! 5 minute walk away! Lots of taps & a decent selection across a wide range. They also have quite a few in the fridge. A decent size outside area with table & chairs so sat there for 40 mins. Happy days.

A fantastic selection of beers to sample in a friendly location. A must if you find yourself in Market Harborough.

If craft beer is your thing then you'll probably end up here! The only entertainment you'll find is an occasional live band or open mic night, and sometimes one or two of the regulars! There's usually something for everyone, unless you only drink draught piss. Ciders and wine are also options, and we'll behaved dogs are very welcome.

Need a good beer? Go the beer house! An ever changing range of high quality beers, lagers and ciders. All well kept and reasonably priced. A range of bar snacks and a fish and chips shop on the corner; what more could one ask for?

Always a good experience, nice to find somewhere that doesn't just serve bland lager and generic bitter, there must be 20 or 30 different beers and ciders on tap, good chippy next door as well, you can even take your chips in and eat with your excellent beverage.

Love this place. A no nonsense drinking house. Somewhere you can meet up with a friend or 2, have a drink and a good catch up without having to shout over loud music or noisy groups
