Dim Sum Master in Harborough

The food is really tasty. I think the king prawn noodle soup is one of the best Chinese food I've had anywhere.

If you are searching for authentic asian food look no further. I had been here previously and the portions were very generous and they lived up to their expectation once again on my second visit. I ordered the Cantonese Wantan Noodle Soup with medium spice (which was optional) as I love my spice having travelled previously to Singapore and Malaysia! I knew it would be a kick to the spice buds! The owners were extremely attentive and took their time to explain the spice levels when I asked. I had a fabulous meal and will be sure to visit this spot on a more regular basis!

My husband visits here regularly and on his visit last weekend he brought me back some of the special brisket noodles - my word! They were amazing! They were that good, he went back today and brought me the last portion back! Looking forward to the next time I can come in person to have lunch as the good never disappoints and the owners are lovely.

Shared the Dim Sum Master meal for two and it didn’t disappoint. Very helpful and informative advice from the owners on the various menus and only a short wait for everything to arrive. Seating area usually full when visiting on a Saturday, so we pleased to grab seats and have the table service on a rainy Weds. Master meal has a bit of everything and a good showcase of the dim sum on offer. Will definitely be back and can see why this place is so popular!

Absolutely love the dim sum here. It always tastes amazing. And they're chilli sauce is lovely! Always craze the dumplings. We had prawn dumplings, chai siu bbq pork buns and custard buns. The owners are lovely and polite.

first of all The couple that runs this little restaurant in the covered Market are really warm,welcoming,helpful and friendly!…I asked for the Legend sauce chicken fried noodle series of cuisine and he warned me that it’s spicy and hot,so I told him I like my food that way and said I Would like it quite spicy but he warned me against it a little bit because he said it’s different and unique to other places that I might of been for a Chinese meal,so he recommended me to go for a middle heat(which I did)!…so my second part of this review was to say he was right it was nice and fiery(even for a medium level of heat)and it was manageable!…it was also full of intense flavour and a nice deep colour red from the sauce,it also had some nice bits of green chilli’s,Red chilli flakes and some nice vegetables! The chicken was really nice and tender and was a really delicious meal and filling,highly recommended if you visit Market Harborough!!…the prices were about £8-£10 for a meal which was very well priced and what you expect to pay for a good meal.

Amazing food and the staff were very welcoming. If you’re in Market Harborough I strongly suggest you give Dim Sum Master a go. Can’t wait to visit you again.

Amazing food, best in Market Harborough

I'm a HUGE dim sum fan and after seeing how highly ranked this place was on my last visit, was determined to return one day when I hadn't already eaten like on my first visit to the area. It was absolutely worth the wait and the trip... even considering that I live in London! My friend and I had the "Dim Sum Master Meal" for 2, which included 9 items each, at £16.50 for both / £8.25 each. This is an absolute bargain considering the quality of the food, with the dumplings also being particularly generous in terms of the meaty fillings. When we arrived not long before closing and I saw the recommendation on the menu to order in advance and allow 20-25 minutes for preparation, I was worried that we might miss out, but the owners were very hospitable and still allowed us to order our feast 🙏 I noticed that they also allow a half-portion for single people, so they're clearly very customer-focused people. The fact that my dog was allowed in the indoor market is a big plus too, and consequently I'm already planning to return. Thank you for a wonderful meal, I look forward to seeing you again! 😋

I've lived in Harborough for years and have only just discovered this wonderful place. We had the beef noodle soup, and pork/chicken dumplings. The portions were big and the soup was so delicious, it made us very happy as it was a cold day. The owners are very friendly and made the experience very pleasant. My only regret is I didnt know about the place earlier, i will be back again 100%

Despite having dozens of options closer to me, I'm happy to drive the 10 or 12 miles over to Market Harborough for dim sum. Its a tiny little place but the food is always exceptional. I usually have chicken with noodles cooked in chili oil and a selection of dim sums and I always leave full and very happy.

Fantastic food, sold both frozen and also ready to eat there and then. Lovely people too who give brilliant advice on how to cook each style!

The best authentic Chinese/HK food outside of China Town. The dumplings are excellent and the soup is perfectly spiced and so rich in taste. Add a bottle of Plumb drink for the experience.

Probably the best dim sum in the UK. I've eaten in and had pick up now and it is consistantly amazing. Freshly made by hand every day, I know there's one guy who goes there all the time and they'll make special things just so he doesn't get bored...ask about the specials! Dim sum is traditionally brunch (in case you don't know), go with as many people as possible, order a couple noodle/rice dishes plus as many of the smaller dishes as your eyes can manage. -and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! I'm sure if we knew what was in the sausages and burgers we eat it would probably turn us off so try something you wouldn't usually go for. You won't be disappointed. Exceptional dim sum. Bravo.

An incredible hidden gem with a lovely couple serving handmade dumplings in an unassuming food court. Siu Mai and Har Gao absolutely on point (Kylee says the best she's ever had). They have changing specials and can offer frozen to take home. We also had the legend series marinated beef Shank noodle which were so damn tasty. The service was charming and the owner is rightly proud of his work.
