Take out dinner, very good and tasty food had a couple of Chinese takeaways locally but this is the best by far. A bit pricey but worth it

Fantastic meal tonight (Friday). Chicken balls, sweet and sour. Dry chow mein Salt battered beef. All really tasty, and made my wife's birthday

Great service and quality food. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a delivery for 25 people. It was extremely easy and the food was great.

OK! I haven't had a chance to try many of the dishes, but as someone who doesn't eat red meat but really misses the crispy shredded beef, here's the regular crispy shredded chicken, which you can't get in a lot of places. When I'm feeling lazy, usually the service is great and preparation and delivery are quick. The food collection area inside needs some TLC but otherwise a great nibble.

Good food, ordered through the app, always cooked on time for collection and pretty good portion. I wish the set menu would change occasionally.

We used the Chinese as our normal choice of take a-way was closed. First of all the order was wrong as we had a curry type sauce instead of BBQ sauce. The food was very greasy and the fried rice was boiled rice !!! Very poor quality in our view and would avoid. The Great Wall is 100% better ! We will not go here again.

Absolutely awful experience ordered beef chow Mein and a special chow mein asking what was in it and specifically asking if it contained any form of fish as I have a severe allergy to fish of which I was assured no form of fish was in this meal, however I get home to find several king prawns thank goodness I saw them other wise would of eaten some of it and ended up extremely poorly and in hospital. Think allergy training needs to be enforced and an u detstanding of how serious food allergies can be. Got a replacement and wasn’t even edible very disappointing. Will not be returning .

Food was expensive for the amount was my first impression...on eating was bland and very obviously generic sauces ...... overpriced and awful. Bad enough to force me to write my first ever review as I wouldn't want anyone else to have to suffer

The best Singapore vermicelli in the town

We enjoyed great food from this place last night whilst staying at Stanford Hall caravan park. It was delivered on time, hot and very delicious. Would highly recommend this place 👍

I placed an order for 4 people which was delivered to Stanford Hall around the correct time, part of my order was for 2 x King Prawn Curries with Egg Fried Rice, on opening the packages I found not Curries but just 2 tubs of King Prawns with Rice by then it was too late as we were hungry but it really did ruin our evening

We normally use a different Chinese take-away in Lutterworth but it’s closed on Monday’s. We had family around for tea so decided to give this takeaway a try. The food was ok, nothing special but the portions we small and it was expensive. I would recommend The Great Wall if you are in Lutterworth as it is a lot better in my view.

Overall it was pleasant, the only downside was the beef curry was a bit low in flavour.

I have been using this restaurant for a few months now. The food is amazing! Costs a little more than the others in town but so worth it!! I would definitely recommend the chicken in capital sauce.

Beaut! First time here..... Unfortunately the chips were old and cold, the chow mein had next to no meat in it, noodles were weird and miniature. Chicken balls doughey and cold. Really disappointed

Terrible experience at this place. Went in to order on a Saturday night and was told it would be a 40 min wait. No problem as I headed to a local pub for a drink while I waited. On returning to collect my food I was told it would be about 5 mins. Half an hour later and with the takeaway full of people waiting for food and getting increasingly frustrated my food still failed to materialise. The customer service was poor and it seemed as if the restaurant was struggling to produce the orders taken but still they continued to take more orders. After an hour and a half and a lot of excuses I finally got my food which was ok to be fair but the whole experience has put me off. Never again! Wasted a whole Saturday night and time I won't get back. I thought at one point they were fetching it from China!!

Last minute decision from our usual fish and chips choice.. bad move . ordered on line delivery late..one dish missing.. contacted the restaurant who stated we hadn't ordered that dish.I couldn't check as I hadn't received confirmation email.The food we did receive was bland and a variety of colours...grey and beige..poor quality.... possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had..

We've had a couple of takeaways in the last month and have to say that they've upped their game...special fried rice is gorgeous and the chicken was lovely....definitely recommend 👌

2 hrs plus for a delivery, Hai tan kept saying it was out for delivery when it wasn’t.they should just be honest abt delivery time so customers can make other plans, inflated prices since they have their own website so you can order by card. So expensive! The main dishes were cold on arrival. Chow mein and rice dishes are very bland indeed. Thought we’d ordered boiled rice at first, Chow mein noodles were like Kellogg’s super noodles’. Overpriced, poor quality and not good service. Don’t think we will use again. Used to be good .

The prawn toast was too thick and soggy. Sweet and sour chicken was moist and tasty. Egg fried rice was lumpy. Beef with green peppers in chilly sauce was chewy and bland. Not recommended.

Having been told that the take away menu was very good, i was surprised at how poor this meal was compared to other meals that i have had over the lock down period. This maybe because the competition is not there at this current time. Having ordered a chow mein meal, the taste was somewhat greasy rather than soy, while the egg fried rice was delivered as boiled rice, again, with little taste. Be wary, that sometimes food being delivered from a restaurant, does not make a good take away.

Offering a really friendly and efficient delivery service (within 45 mins), so glad they have re-opened during lockdown. The Hai Tian prepares the best Chinese food in the area, in fact, some of the best I've ever tasted anywhere. Never stodgy or greasy and always packed full of flavour, the vegetables are always crispy and fresh and the meats are always tender. The King Prawn with Chilli and Green Pepper in Black Bean Sauce is amazing, so is the Crispy Lamb in Plum Sauce.

Only used for takeaway. Probably wouldn't eat in as it's quite a small area. But you can not knock the food it was lovely. Would definitely use again if I was in the area.

The food here is good, either for a take away or eat in. The only problem is the decor, dated and in need of an identity. It used to be traditional white table cloth, chopstick type chinese, where you couldn't get a table if you hadn't booked...even upstairs. The food remained good even after a takeover, it tried to be more modern cafe like, but with a makeshift sceen in front of the kitchen trying to hide what looks like general untidyness and having the owners small children running amongst the tables just isn't appealing. Having said that the food remains consistently good and the staff are very polite, will continue to eat here but probably keep to takeaways.

We often have a takeaway from this lace as they are very good, even though we have to collect our meal from. They have a wide choice and the portions are generous. Worth going to for a meal or ordering a takeaway from.

Ordered Singapore fried rice and a hot curry, both were so mild I actually think they delivered a regular fried rice. Very disappointed

Just had a take away with a number of varies dishes. Not a long wait at all. I have had a few take aways from.the town and found some make good dishes with others having other good dishes that others make badly. (If that makes sense) I have to say all the dishes were delicious and the best thing it was not greasy at all

This restaurant is the best i have been, it's the best in town, the food was so good, i go there 2to3 times a week.

One person working doing the serving and takeaways, young children working on the till when she was out the back. In a group of five served one then went to do more takeaways come back five minutes later with another dish, when she served all the takeaway people brought out the rest of food, all the plates where freezing cold making the food cold when you put the food on them, the food was OK but not worth the price. Need more staff the woman serving and looking after three kids a bit to much.

Small Resturant just of the high-street with parking outside or parking just around the corner. Vast menu, so you have plenty of choice At busy-times, be prepared to wait 30 minutes, as this is a busy location

Ordered a takeaway for 51st Wedding Anniversary on 16th September as I have my arm in plaster and don’t feel able to eat out. We ordered the duck with pancakes and although the pancakes were small and a bit stale tasting, they were ok. My husband ordered beef fillet with green peppers with chilli and black bean sauce. It was fine but in the night he woke with a very salty taste in his mouth. I ordered a main of chicken in satay sauce. I don’t know what I received but it was a watery mess and certainly not satay. I could not eat it. The “free”prawn crackers were stale. Usually, this takeaway serves good food - not that night. We won’t use it again and wouldn’t recommend it.

Always get our takeaways from here so much variety and well cooked food to suit every taste. Highly recommend the chilli salt squid.

Hai Tan has never let us down with great food. We eat there every couple of weeks and love it. Everything is always fresh

Always order from this place love the vegetable fried rice which has big chunky bits of veg in it. All their dishes are decent and not greasy.

Had food from here numerous times now, very fresh, not too sweet like most Chinese restaurants. Saw a review from an idiot complaint that the BBQ sauce was like S&S; sauce. It is in China, just slightly more umami to it. Let you add and remove things from a dish without any issue.

THE BEST !! I have been a regular customer since they opened and the food here has been consistantly excellent. The crispy duck is a regular favourite, but all the dishes we have had over the years are well made. Ignore the bad reviews , go and order from them , you won't be disappointed.

Ordered a beef chowmein and beef fried rice. Reheated greasy food and sweet tasting beef, won't use again as I ended up with bad stomach pains and temp for two days. Have been recommended to use chinese by the coop. Found out later this place was closed down for nearly a year for hygiene reasons and people I spoke to are so aware to stay clear of the place at all costs......nice

Ordered the food to be delivered, took longer than we were told, but was well worth the wait. The Beef in black bean sauce was brilliant.

The food here was really good, one of the best restaurants of it's type around but the environment is a bit basic. All the tables are close to the front door and they sell a lot of takeaways but if it's not a romantic evening or a special night out, it's a great place to go. I love watching the fish in the fish tank too!

Always had fantastic meals here and the staff are friendly and prompt. There's also three pokestops within range.

The Chicken Chow mein is consistently nice however sometimes lacks flavour which is still no problem. The rice however is not nice and I would advise against. In addition, I once came and had a half duck which was simply awful. I really do like this restaurant but I want to see improvement in the rice and every aspect of the duck.

Ordered take away food Saturday night. Pork chow mein, egg fried rice and vegetable spring rolls. Service was fast good value and most importantly tasted lovely. Will be our go to Chinese take away. Just ordered again from them. My wife's favourite pork chow me in, I went for the roast pork curry. Absolutely superb. Fast delivery excellent food, just right for a treat.

Menú Chino estándar cocinado a un muy buen nivel. Nada de que quejarse, excepto algunos de los platos principales son poco caro comparado con otros. Estoy seguro de que la Hai Tain, es el único restaurante chino en coma en Lutterworth así no tiene competencia. Muy concurrido para llevar el comercio

Regularmente tienen una toma de distancia de aquí. No coma en como puedes ser el único así que no hay ambiente. diners Tenía una llevar por 4 y el pollo satay de arranque era encantador, sin embargo mi principal - carne con castañas de cajú...

La primera vez que he estado aquí y no el más bonito comida, servicio y buena precio que sin duda, si nunca han estado antes o elegimos Pida comida para llevar desde allí :).

Great place to go for a takeaway. Food is always cooked great and the staff and service are efficient. Haven't ever eaten in and wouldn't really want to as the furnishings and decor are quite off putting unfortunately which is a shame.

We had a lovely meal here, but the ambiance of the restaurant is close to zero. Plastic chairs, harsh lighting. And the staff on a nearby table doing their accounts. I also realized that other people sat down were just waiting for a takeaway, I will do that next time.

Charged £36:00+ for a meal. Afterwards thought it was expensive. Checked out the prices the next evening and meal should have been £25:00+ Moral of the story check your bill carefully before leaving this restaurant.

Lovely food. Probably one of the Chinese Takeaways, taste wise, I've had from within the area. Very clean. Portion sizes seem a little small compared to what I am used to from others, especially considering the £4-£5 cost difference.
