Super cosy jewel in the centre of Higham Ferrers. Very busy and great staff made me welcome. Ordered an omelette and was I impressed. Best I've eaten in many years. Taste buds were going crazy

I use higham ferrers be bewitched every day and the staff .( Aga. halle .Chloe . Calum Maddie ) And all the rest . forgot names .sorry but the staff are wonderful Xtremly friendly and helpful to all customers.the atmosphere is so much like being at home .the service is the best .a Realy friendly place to visit ..........The best staff and coffee July 2024 The staff today( Hallie..and the lovely Florence are excellent they are very helpful and they look after you .they are very pleasant and greet you with a big smile and a hello how are you ..they make you feel at home. I always love going into bewitched higham ferrers every day . This is the lovely Hallie and Florence service with a smile.................walked in to bewitched higham ferrers shop today Friday 9 th ..the staff had a lovely smile and a warm friendly greeting As they always do for me and every other customer,my coffee was served to me by the lovely Florence. ..what a job she did (pic)...also the lovely AGA.was her happy smiling self and always greets her customer like family.your always made to feel at home.the surroundings are timeless .the food and the coffees are wonderful, always just perfect .who ever is working on shift keeps the place spotless and clean .the staff work hard and never stop .I give the higham ferrers staff and shop 10/10 for everything . Its been a bit busy.. all of the staff are wonderfull the coffee is the best .the feeling of being made feel homely and very welcome .you don't find that anywhere like bewitched .higham ferrers and its so frendly .i am a carer ( unpaid.) For my dad (83) i am usualy at bewitched in the morning for an hour ..if we have any other carer in the area please pop on would like to start a carers chat group in the area..? Thursdays from 10 .am everyone welcome ...

When visiting, I always go on a Monday for the BOGOF pizza deal. I have the same pizza, and I'm never disappointed.

We came here Friday evening. A lovely restaurant with only about 8 tables, always a good sign that you are going to be looked after and that your meal will not be rushed. I unfortunately found it absolutely freezing inside. Even with me wrapping my legs in my scarf, I was very uncomfortable in there. We had the special appetiser of pheasant terrine with rhubarb chutney, rocket, and pine nuts, which was to die for!! The second appetiser we had was the baked smoked mozzarella. We both really disliked this. It was essentially a croque monsieur with a thick slab of hard mozzarella and bread that you couldn’t cut into. For main my partner had the lobster ravioli. About five large pieces stuffed with meat! He loved it. I had the three tomato pasta which I enjoyed, except that it came out topped with cheese and it was more cheese than I personally would have had on it. I found that a little overpowering. But the pasta and the sauce was delicious. For dessert I had an affogato. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t have a standard coffee and ice cream affogato and that I had to add an alcohol to it which made it taste less enjoyable to me. My partner had the ice cream which came with pistachio fondant which turned out to be a pie essentially filled with pistachio sauce which was so so good. I had definite food envy with that one! The Sartarelli Tralivio wine went down perfectly with the meal. Service was good except they didn’t provide us with knives for our main meal. So we were cutting our food with the sides of our forks. Our server was Eastern European and although she was lovely, we found it very difficult to understand her a lot of the time, which made ordering and asking questions about the food quite difficult.

Opted to buy a different loaf, as the past 2 Harvester ones had huge holes in the middle, mentioned this to the assistant who was not the slightest bit interested that I had paid good money for poor produce. Would have expected at least some interest if not recompense.

Golden Phoenix prawn toast and spring rolls are the best I’ve ever had in Ireland and abroad. Their soups are excellent and satay chicken skewers are crazy good. Best Chinese in Ireland. John

Food still piping hot when it arrived, very friendly delivery. Good veggie sausages.

We come here very often both eat in and take away and it’s definitely a top restaurant. They are always very attentive and lovely, food is always banging, never had an issues. Definitely recommend a try:)

Food was good, and I didn’t have to cook! Will definitely order again.

I ordered toast with jam and butter Have had this before had real bread thick. This visit i had toast it was made froma thin loaf of bread . I don't expect cheap thin bread .

Had my 1st meal from here Saturday had to ring and chase got delivered: once eaten spent all day Saturday and Sunday shitting and throwing up food poisonings really bad only had Singapore chow mein and some of the wife's boiled rice, never go here again
