Super cosy jewel in the centre of Higham Ferrers. Very busy and great staff made me welcome. Ordered an omelette and was I impressed. Best I've eaten in many years. Taste buds were going crazy

We visited today to celebrate a friends birthday. We had the afternoon tea and it was delicious. There was plenty of food, staff were friendly, quality was excellent and the price very reasonable. What more could you ask for?

What a great find. Travelling home we were looking for somewhere to stop, stretch our legs and have a bite to eat. We prefer to find a local tearoom rather than use the main service stations and this one was a lovely treat. One of us has a restricted diet but the staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable on dietary requirements. Both of us had a filling and tasty lunch in a very pleasant setting. The staff cannot be congratulated enough.

Decent selection of food to select from and nice coffee. You can sit outside but it is roadside. Service is polite and quick. Sausage and bacon roll is tasty. Sausage is a plain Richmond style. Would be better to be a locally sourced better quality version? Bacon also a bit dry. Ketchup added but a tad sparse. Still a good spot for a bite to eat and a coffee.

I chose to ask Savor the Flavor to cater for a few works functions I was organizing as I've always been impressed with the quality of the food. Our last suppliers were very hit and miss and I'd rather support a local business. Well, they didn't disappoint and all our guests were VERY impressed with their boxes (we had to do individual boxes due to Covid) even dietary needs were catered for and they have always stepped up with our last minute orders. I couldn't recommend enough. The quality of food is excellent and the service equality as good.

Came in with my partner, we had a hot and cold coffee and both were great! The brownie was brilliant too, and was recommended by the woman who served us! We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay even though we came in not too long before closing time.

Savour the flavour. Savour the ice cream! Splendid stop off for a refreshing ice cream. Could be on the continent with the Mediterranean as a backdrop! Well, that’s if the sun comes out. Very tasty ice creams full of flavour. Vanilla very vanillary and the strawberry shortcake was scrumptious. Nice seating area outside to watch the world go by. Service was quick, polite and professional. Definitely a stop off point on a sunny(ish) day. More food options available and a selection of drinks.

Fantastic range of foods available to eat in or take away. The sandwiches are delicious, made to your requirements with plenty of options. Always great service and takeaway packaged in paper, not plastic!! Lovely spot for lunch in Higham.

My wife and I finally gave in to temptation and booked an afternoon tea at Savour the Flavour and were not disappointed. Excellent vegetarian sandwiches on request, garnished with vegetable crisps, a lovely scone with a slice of strawbury and mouth watering strawbury jam, lemon drizzle cake and a lovely custard and blueberry tart washed down with Earl Grey tea. The food eas excellent ,service impeccable and fantastic value at £10 a head. Highly recommended but important to book and reserve a table

Lovely little cafe in Higham Ferrers, excellent food and service, very small though and tables tend to be reserved. Using the toilets is a test in agility. Will definitely be returning though. Also has local jewellery for sale.

We are from North Carolina visiting friends in England. We tried the American Pancakes and they were delicious!

i didnt even realise this place was there for the first year until i found it online! its lovely to go to on a weekend morning for a bacon sandwich! the staff are lovely and there's lots of little boutique items you can buy in the store. Not a huge amount of seats so you'd need to check you can get a table first. Glad i found this place :)

We frequently visit Savour the Flavour and enjoy their meal deal at lunchtime. Hot drink, sandwich and cake all for £5.50 a head. You can substitute a packet of crisps for the cake if you choose to and they offer a gluten free option for the sandwich. You can also ask for salad to be incorporated into the sandwich at no extra cost. The sandwiches are very generous and cakes are excellent as is the Earl Grey tea Good range of vegetarian options Lovely friendly staff, good and pleasant service Highly recommended

Popped in for a sandwich and coffee around lunch time with my better (sorry - other) half. Main seating area full but a table near the serving station was available. Ordered brie & bacon sandwich - very tasty, though a little bit of greenery would not go amiss, even as a decoration! Warm welcome and food at a good price. Recommended if passing.

This is a proper lovely little place - the coffees are excellent and are very generous in size but reasonably priced. The menu looks interesting and a bit different to run of the mill chain coffee shop Fayre. The addition of giftware and deli items for sale makes this much more than a coffee shop and is well worth a visit. Just be aware that if you need the toilet it’s up some very steep narrow stairs! We will definitely be back soon - maybe to try the afternoon tea - which looks fabulous!

What a great little place this is, the menu has just been updated and it's even better value than before, food and staff are fantastic, a hidden gem in Higham Ferrers.

Mmmmm really tasty food, great choice, freshly prepared and really good value (sandwich, drink & cake for £4.50!) They were about to launch a new menu so I look forward to sampling it at our next visit.

I took my ravenous teenage boys for a sandwich lunch while out and about. Very nice sandwiches, super friendly service and nice place to sit. Vegetarian friendly options available. I would have given 5 stars except they confused my order slightly and gave me white bread rather than the granary I ordered). But still very nice. Good value meal deal: sandwich/wrap, drink (including good milkshakes with trimmings) and big cookies/cake/crisps all for £4.50.

Although we live just up the road in Rushden, we're not ever so familiar with Higham.

Excellent place to meet your friends and have lunch. Their meal deal is the best for miles around, excellent value, very friendly staff and service, plus you can browse some lovely jewellery and gifts while having lunch.

Was there earlier today having a reunion with a long lost relation. As soon as you enter you feel GOOD VIBRATIONS, the staff are friendly and helpful, and being, shall we say, Bijou it has an "intimate" feel.

This place is absolutely amazing! Starting with a food review, I had the roast beef salad and my mum had the leek and potato soup. The salad was so tasty and I still can't get over how yummy it was! The selection of foods that come with the salad made it one of the best I have ever had. My mum really enjoyed her soup, it was obvious that it was homemade and the taste was amazing. I would 100% go here again to eat. The price of the food is fantastic as well.

Wide range of sandwiches and wraps that are made in front of you. It's obvious that quality ingredients are used.

We visited here with our dogs on our walk, the lady was so helpful and kind, setting up the outside tables for us and even giving us free water for the dogs.

Living in Higham Ferrers, we visit the deli regularly for the lunch time meal deal and to shop for the odd treat. The food is excellent with a great range of sandwiches, wraps, savouries and cakes. The staff are really friendly and the service is always top notch. They also have a very nice selection of jewelry and other trinkets for sale that are perfect for Mother's Day, birthdays, etc. The only downside is that it is a little cosy inside so you need to arrive early to guarantee a seat because it can get very busy at lunch time.

A great place to pick up a gift whilst enjoying a Coffee, Lunch ( specials are great) or just Tea and cake. I don't get time to visit as much as I would like to.

Love the lunch specials with a doorstep sani, drink and crisps or cake. Great meat, lovely salads, super fresh tastes and nice choice in different breads. Love the shopping for a gift of either earrings or chutney as you drink coffee and chat with friends. A great atmosphere and a wonderful way to multi task with the best! Worth a check out whether you are looking for something for a daughter or mother or girlfriend gift, or tea and cake to have with a friend or to take away with you, nothing is too much trouble!

a little pricey but the treatment is good and the food tasty. Not much room which means no family visits but for a little P&Q; for a coffee and a read all is good

Excellent little coffee shop and Deli. Small but intimate. Sandwiches made to order, and a large choice of fillings. The Deli sells a wide range of known brands and locally purified products, hard to find anywhere else. Would recommend a visit.

We eat here on a fairly regular basis, as they do fantastic made to order sandwiches with proper thick bread and quality fillings. The cookies and muffins are very good too. The meal deal is good value.

Fab little cafe and deli, fab friendly service and produce. We popped in to check out the deli and ended up ordering breakfast and planning 3 Christmas hampers. We'll be back!

Savour the flavour is definitely one of my favourite places to go for lunch in the area! Only recently this year found out about this place from a family member, it's so well hidden on the high street in Higham Ferrers that it's very easy to miss. They do a great meal deal.. Sandwich, crisps/cookie/cake and a drink for under £5 so very reasonably priced, and you get a good amount of filling in the sandwiches and a good range of fillings to choose from. One of my favourites which isn't on the meal deal menu is the lightly spiced chicken salad sandwich, definitely recommend this. Lovely place and friendly staff, not a massive place but they have made up a table for us in the past.

Blink and you'll miss it - so don't blink! The most delightful cafe for miles, with the added value of deli and jewellery shop.

Regularly visited for a Coronation Chicken and salad (or Stilton and Bacon) sandwich and occasionally for their Meal Deal (Drink, Sandwich and sweet snack), though the Meal Deal is not such good value these days.

Every time I go into Savour the Flavour the staff are smiling and welcoming. The service is very quick and the drinks always piping hot, which I like. The food is all freshly made and is a delight. If you are in town then drop in for a coffee.
