Great service super speedy and generous portion sizes. The prices were at a good range and cost less than a tenner for two lunches decent sized lunches.

We were a little bit disappointed to be honest, the chips had been sat way too long, and the batter was soggy! Delivery took about 1/2 hr after we got the message it was on its way!

After seven years of not being able to eat fish and chips due to coeliac disease, we were delighted to find Georgia’s Fish Bar in Higham Ferrers, Northants. The owner was friendly and well-informed regarding the preparation of gluten-free dishes. They have a dedicated fryer for all gluten-free items and a good choice of gluten-free items, including traditional fish and chips. Staff took time to understand our dietary needs, giving great service and their fish and chips were delicious!

First rime ordering from here and unfortunately not impressed. The food arrived late and was look warm at best. The food was bland. It’s a real shame as always try and support local independent business. 👎🏼👎🏼

Hi we ordered Popcorn chicken plus other food this evening. When it arrived there was a 1/4 portion of chicken not what was ordered. We usually get lovely food but my dinner had gone cold by the time I had cut the chicken up for our Grandson. He was looking forward to eating at our house tonight. Disappointed Fensome @111 Rushden

Dnt know why some people have a dig at this chip shop We moved to Higham 4 years ago and we use this chip shop frequently. And I must say .staff are always friendly and helpful. And you can have a bit of a laugh. As to the food. 10/ 10. Fish and chips to die for .and usually far to many chips. (Owner ) iam not complaining. ) If fact iam ordering from here tonight. Fish was over cooked and chewie. Battered sausage was soggy. Chips were cold and soggy. Extremely disappointed, overpriced food. Waste of money!

£6.99 for small portion of chips with cheese - undercooked and cheese not even melted, for that price I am so surprised. Unfortunately me and my son couldn’t eat it. We won’t be ordering again as this is the second time and no change in the time cooking!!! Still under cooked!

HORRIBLE FOOD!! it's Hard to get fish and chips as bad as this place!! Fish is greasy and over-cooked,the chips are really really scabby and under-cooked, only got 1 star as the curry sauce was passable, WASTED MY SIXTEEN QUID ON ONE CHIPS AND TWO FISH AND DEFO NOT HAVING MY MONEY EVER AGAIN!!

My wife and her friends went to this chip shop as her friends live in the local area and as they advertised they did gluten free fish and chips it was agreed they'd go here. What a mistake. They had no seriousness of gluten allergy what so ever. When food was taken out the bag there was no clear marking which was gluten free. The chips and other fish looked all the same. So contacted the chippy only to be told. It's all gluten free so it's fine. (Why send all gluten free when you charge extra for gluten free which is a disgrace as well) 10 minutes later they receive a call to say it isn't gluten free and in fairness they said they would send out a replacement. The replacement was under cooked and not nice at all. What's the point in complaining again. The others had all finished theirs and time was getting on. Sorry but if you're going to serve gluten free food TAKE IT SERIOUS. Gluten can make people very poorly. Yes it's great you offer the option as not many places offer this but please take it A LOT more serious. Maybe try training staff to understand the seriousness of it.

Ordered on Just Eat was unsure how fish & chips would be by delivery, it was beautiful and really tasty. Great value for money as well, will order again.

The chips are so good and soft, I got a small chips and you could comfortably share the portion with 3 people and the fish cakes have so much flavour with a really nice breadcrumb! Ordered at 7.05 got to us within.. always fast, efficient and food is lush.. reasonably priced. 4 adults and we ordered 3 small chips, ( a big small)1 small cod( which was plentiful), 2 x mushy peas, 1 plain jumbp sausage, 10 pieces of Scampi, 1 x large curry sauce, 1 x bottle Ketchup and a battered mars bar.. at £36 ish a bargain. Such a shame the food is lovely but the prices have gone up ridiculously high! £37.50 for 3 fish and chips and 1 nuggets and chips.

Shocking chip shop just went and ordered chips and these are the must horrible chips I have ever had. Not crispy just under cooked chip still hard. Some of the sausages seem like yesterday food like it’s gone off. Definitely stay well clear from this place

We moved from Devon .. where fish and chips are hard to beat ... but .. I can honestly say this chip shop were clearly not compete to serve up A decent meal . Burnt dry leftover chips . Greasy fish that was tasteless . The after effects of trying to eat some of the food left us eating indigestion tabs ... never again ..

The delivery was later and when I got the food the chips where cold and tasted like yesterday leftovers, I know as I got the batter sausages and they where hot, I won’t be going back that’s for sure

I ordered my food for myself and my children for around 5pm for our dinner and I can honestly say that it was the worst chip shop food I have had the food arrived cold everything was greasy even the battered sausage had no crisp to it just completely soggy the chips tasted stale and like they were left overs from the night before it was a all round horrible meal and I will never be going there again

The quality at this chipshop is variable. Sometimes i have had the best chips I have ever tasted, other times the chips have been hard and bitty or mushy and soggy. I do not go to this fish shop often as the quality is too hit and miss for me

Not bad. Not amazing. But not a touch in other local chippys. For the ultimate one go to nearby raunds or more local red chippy in rushden. If you cant he bothered with the short drive then this place will do you. Dont get me wrong food is served quick. Just not the flavour of the others.
